BEGIN WITH GOODBYE Vol. 2 is the second installment in a serial romance series. It is approximately 5000 words (about 18 pages.)
A half-naked encounter with Julian, a confrontation with her mother, and having to explain to Melody that her mother is dead all in one night? Samantha didn't think her evening could get much worse.
Grrrrrr. I can’t believe I’m still doing this to myself, but sadly I can’t help it. I’ve been sucked and now I NEED to know what’s going to happen next. Even if I’m subjected with a small morsel to pacify my curiosity.
I still think its very difficult to give a full opinion on everything considering each part of the series is only about 18 pages long. What I can say is that I very much dislike Samantha’s mother. She has this quality about her that screams “I think I may have to HATE you one day”.
Julian very much seems like a grieving husband that is needing an escape from his new reality. I did appreciate that he was able to stand up to Samantha mother, also his mother-in-law. I hope with the turn of things he can become a more involved parent.
Samantha is clearing still grieving from her sister’s death and the events that happened in the past. I can soo understand why she refuses to let it go. So comes of as a very strong individual, but she’s a tad messy with her process. Considering she’s only been in town a short while and already is at the police station. Where is this headed? I so want to know and I don’t want to wait. (please note this is me whining).
Sam has decided to stay for the summer and help Julian take care of Melody. She's not happy to be back in her home town. She is still VERY resentful of Julian and very regretful for the lack of relationship she's had with her recently deceased sister since she left town.
Sam gets bumped a little of her high horse when she realizes she knows nothing about taking care of a child, and Julian is capable and knowledgable. At least more than she's given him credit for up to this point.
Now Sam and Julian have to tackle the terrible conversation with Melody, letting her know her own mother has passed away and won't be coming home, ever. Exactly how do you explain such a thing to a toddler?
Another enjoyable installment - I just wished they were released more frequently. Impatience is a hardship.
What? 26 pages? Well.. this is something. At least there's more pages than first one. First book was free and second is only $0.99 so I bought it immediately. In this book there is Samantha's mother. She's such a selfish bitch. I'm lucky that my mommy isn't like her. Also there's a thing. The child is only 3 years old but she's so clever that she tricked her aunty. I thought a lot about it that how can she do but I found nothing... And the end was like before... a CLİFFHANGER! Can't wait to read other one...
At first starting vol. 2 of Begin With Goodbye I wasn't too sure I was going to like it. It didn't feel as good in the beginning as part one but it quickly changed and I found myself intrigued once again. The story brings even more questions and that cliffhanger. What is going on! I need part 3 like now!
This Arc was provided by the author in return of an honest review. And I'm honestly giving this a five star rating cause it is just addictive. I am inhaling these snippets so fast I'm afraid I'll be left bereft soon. The dialogue is very catchy. The chemistry is brewing nicely and the mystery is unfolding brilliantly.
This is part 2 of this story. I enjoyed the first one and wanted to continue the story to see what happens. The story continues to develop and keeps me interested. So if you are interested in a good story this is it.
