William Kreidler - Bill, to those who knew him - was an indefatigable teacher, but not the kind that stands at the front of the room and lectures. Oh, he had stories, he did! But his style was face to face with young ones, and for teachers he had examples, models and ideas. This is one of those resources. It is filled with ideas to help the idea of addressing conflict front and center in everyday situations.

This and his other books for work with younger students seem to be out of print. What a shame!! Perhaps if we had paid more attention, we might have reached more kids AND adults, to be able to move through times of conflict - either seconds or weeks. How might our world look today if we'd shared those lessons.

Bill lived through his own conflicts and trauma, and it brought him to rededicate his life for this work. I hope others can find this and read it ... particularly those who work with groups, any age.
