I really, really liked this book, but because of the incredibly slow start, I did knock a star off what really should have been an easy 5 start read. The story of a Texas State Trooper/Mounted Police Officer and a US Marshall, both big and buff and outrageously male, gay and devastatingly good looking should have at least made my favorites list. Plus, the sex was FUCKING. MIND. BLOWING. Damn! I'm not exaggerating AT ALL. But I lost interest in the book at about the 30% mark and put it down. The only reason I picked it back up is because I love the author and I trusted it would get better. It did, hurrah, but if it had been written by an author unknown to me, this would have been shelved DNF.
I can safely recommend this book and urge you to keep reading if you become bored with the lack of romance during the first half of the book. You will be rewarded handsomely in the end if you do.

4.5--Cowboy--Stars!!
We met Mitch at the end of Double Full but let me tell you that glimpse didn't even begin to hint at the greatness that is Mitch! Mitch was my favorite thing about this book...
He was sarcastic, he didn't give a shit what anyone thought about him and he wore the most kick-ass T-shirts!
At the end of Double Full, the investigation surrounding the "attack" on Colt was left unresolved. Full Disclosure continues this investigation.
Another "attack" has occurred and Mitch has been called in to help with the case. I will say this book, while it had plenty of romance, a large part of it was focused on the investigation. It progressed slowly, but I was never bored.
I loved the banter and the dynamic between Mitch and his work partner Tyler (Connors).
I think this helped carry the parts of the book involving the investigation.
It's while Mitch is in Dallas that he meets Cody (Cowboy).
Cody's character was so sweet and almost innocent in a way. He's not used to the in-your-face-ness of Mitch! But they really complimented each other well.
I loved that their relationship was more of a slow build. With Mitch working the investigation and Cody having responsibilities as a Ranger they are limited to phone calls and a few visits.
Things really heat up when Mitch and Cody become targets.
Another thing I really loved about this one was there was no relationship drama. No back and forth, no miscommunication, no break-ups.
Sadly though, this investigation seems to be the investigation that will never die...as a few tidbits remains open in the epilogue opening us up for Kreed and Aaron's book next!
And I've been assured that the investigation does wrap up at the beginning of the next book!
I thought this was a great addition to the series. I think I loved it even more than Jace and Colt's story...who do make appearances in this book. It had steam, suspense, and lots of LOL moments!

Full Disclosure is book two in the Nice Guys series by Kindle Alexander. You can read this as a single book or as part of the box set which I have chosen to do because it contains all kinds of wonderful extra bonus material for each book. This is Mitch and Cody’s book but the case Mitch is working on is carried over from book one, Double Full.
We first met Mitch Knox in book one. He is thirty three years old and is a Deputy U.S. Marshal. He is the son of Dr. Knox who was Colt’s football team’s Dr. in the first book. He was brought in after Colt’s boyfriend, Jace’s accident. Now the case that caused Jace’s terrible accident and the deaths and injuries of several other men has plagued Mitch. He has spent his own time and money trying to investigate but hasn’t been able to get the attention of his bosses.
While visiting Colt and Jace, they go out to a bar to let off some steam and that’s where he first saw him. The shy cowboy sitting alone. Once Mitch saw him, everything and everyone else faded away. He only knew that he had to get to know this man in every way possible.
Cody Turner is twenty six years old and is a Texas state highway trooper. Cody has spent his adult life focused on his career, his dream of someday becoming a Texas Ranger. There is no room in his life for anything other than hook ups. But then he met Mitch, the man who overwhelmed him in every way.
Something happens with the case that once again brings it into the public eye and finally Mitch’s superiors are paying attention. Mitch is sent to Washington D.C. to work with the FBI but progress is slow. At the same time, Cody is able to visit and they are able to get to know each other better. It is quickly clear to Mitch that his days of being single are over. That this man is all he wants. Now he just has to convince Cody of that.
This book was a little different than the first one. The first book was so full of overwhelmingly romantic moments and so full of the feelings between Jace and Colt. This one the two characters spent a lot of the time apart in the book. The focus in the book was more on the case. This one was more suspenseful than the first one too as the case progresses. While I loved both Mitch and Cody, I did want more time with them together. The ending made up for a lot of it because it was so sweet. And I am loving the bonus chapters in this box set. Now I am going right on to book three, Full Domain, which is Mitch’s partner, Kreed and Aaron’s book. I can’t wait to see how this all turns out.

OVERVIEW
I cannot even express in words my disappointment in this book but I will try.
This book was/had:
Bad Things
1. ageist
2. sexist
3. exclusively white Christian
4. looks-ist
5. HORRIBLE police procedure
6. slow moving
7. a stagnant and predictable plot
8. half again (or more) too long
9. one MC who was a complete ass
10. one MC who was boring
11. clueless about money
Good Things
1. really hot sex (although there was WAY too much of it)
2. really sweet romance (if way too fast)
Before we start, I want to say that I loved the first one. Although it was slow moving in the beginning, once it got going, it was really excellent. I loved those two characters. (They continued to be the best thing about this book even though there were only in it for a couple of minor scenes.) But this one was so awful and offensive that I may probably won't read the third one that is coming out.
Let's begin, shall we?
SPECIFICS
I'll be nice and start with the positives.
1. really hot sex (although there was WAY too much of it)
The sex was smoking. These were some of the hottest sex scenes I have ever read. The first scene between them, the phone sex and the sex, were drool worthy. Really, really good. Except...many times throughout each sex scene, the author would break with asterisks or whatever and switch to the other guy's POV. While I'm thrilled there was no head jumping without a break, this was excessive and ridiculous. A good author shouldn't have to interrupt a sex scene to let us know how the other person is feeling. Just show us from the other POV. It should be obvious.
2. really sweet romance (if way too fast)
Considering the months that transpire in the course of the novel, the instalove stuff was unnecessary. But the romance other than that was really sweet. They are sweet and good together, and I did root for them. Mitch was a nice guy around Cody, although that is never said out loud.
Bad Things
1. ageist
Let's let quotes from the book explain this for me:
Does she even know her audience? The average reader of M/M romance is a middle-aged white female--true middle age. Middle age has started at 40 forever and people talk about how 50 is the new 40.
2. Sexist
If you've read Heinlein, you probably know how he used to be really forward in his thinking but in the 70's, he stopped and stayed. He developed what I call hidden sexism. He would constantly refer to how smart women were and then continue with how sexy and how men were idiots and women just let them do their own thing but knew better. But women didn't hold any powerful roles and the man was fully in charge.
This was worse. The sexism here is unacceptable in a book written in 2014 by someone who thinks 33 is old. Every woman in the book is pretty and either a mom or an administrative assistant, and willing to use their feminine wiles to get a guy to cooperate. Even if they're married. To be fair, a man does flirt with a woman for the same reason, but he just tells her she's pretty. The woman tells the guy how smart and capable he is. And the man didn't have to get half naked to do it, either. (Oh, and of course, the one bad female character, mentioned in two sentences only to explain a brother's divorce, was a gold digger. Of course.)
I'm not putting down AA's. They're very important and vital to an organization. But they're traditional roles for a female, and they definitely are not as powerful as, say, US Marshals or FBI agents, of which there were many in this book, all men. The AA's and secretaries were lauded for how smart or how scary they were, but they were all female. I don't know why not a single female character could be someone more than a secretary. Everyone--the doctors, attorneys, agents, politicians--who had a role to play in the plot (I really don't think making quick airline reservations counts) was male. ALL men. White men as far as I could tell. Which brings me to
3. exclusively white Christian
The main characters all went to church and this was very important to them. That's cool, but it was implied that one family would not think a partner was any good if he wasn't Christian. But this family was absolutely perfect, so I didn't get the impression that this was a bad thing. Then there was the fact that there wasn't a single name that was traditionally not white, not even Latino, let alone a description of someone not white. Remember there's a huge cast of characters. Not one, not a single one could have been Hispanic or black? This took place almost exclusively in the Southern United States and Washington D.C., both of which have very high populations of African Americans. Half was in Texas and how many Hispanic people live there? It was ridiculous.
4. looks-ist
Anyone who was good looking was good (and any good people who were described were good looking). The exact opposite was true for bad characters.
5. HORRIBLE police procedure
Even though . A suspect Anything obtained would be thrown out. The case would be completely ruined by that. But this kind of thing didn't seem to be a problem for him.
(Speaking of PC, everyone is playing a political game and he says, "Corporate politics meets political correctness at its finest." Um, no, political game playing in the environment he's discussing is not PC at all. AT ALL. Oh, but maybe PC to him means, "Treat women as if they're smart enough to be in politics or law enforcement."
6. slow moving
Nothing happens forever. NOTHING. It's like scenes were written and then rewritten and then written again and all three versions were included. The heroes take several chapters to even meet and then they are apart for the majority of the book. Page 35 was when something remotely interesting happened. Before that we found out a lot about Cody that was completely irrelevant (and boring, but we'll get there in a moment)/ There were so many sex scenes (and they were really, really not) so I felt like I was reading a porn novel not a romance. (The romance and the crime plot were completely unrelated until the predictable ending. Which brings me to...)
7. a stagnant and predictable plot
No new clues, no new suspects, no new information, no new data, no new interpretations, nothing at all happens until two thirds of the way through the book. As for the plot itself, I won't go into detail here. It's just formulaic, which isn't always bad--there's a reason for formulas and that is because people like them. But without anything else going for it, I was completely annoyed.

Self-explanatory now that I've explained everything else.
9. one MC who was a complete ass
Mitch is such a dick to everyone except Cody that I never got to like him. The first time Cody sees him, he swaggers up to the bar like he owns the place, thinking about how hot he is, and then he pushes Cody into doing stuff he isn't ready for and doesn't listen when Cody says no. Once it gets to the real flirting, the scene gets really, really hot, don't get me wrong, and Cody's hesitancy and Mitch's pushing are really sexy. But before that, I have no idea why Cody didn't just walk away. I personally would have laughed at Mitch if he came up to me like that.
But let me give you some details in addition to what I've said in other parts of this review. Mitch is the kind of free spirit who doesn't like to dress up, preferring to wear jeans and tees to work. Okay, trite, but got it. Then he has to go to Washington D.C. to the FBI office. They don't know him there, everyone knows they have a dress code, and he's shocked when they're not okay with what he's wearing. Okay, so far, I get both sides. It's hard to show how serious the situation is when you're dressed in weekend wear. But he's not an FBI agent, so why should he dress up? Well, he's not just wearing a T-shirt but ones with slogans. And I agree they're pretty funny. But wearing something that says, "You Don't Know Me Witness Protection" might be a little unnerving to a victim visiting the FBI offices, the kind of person that is scared that they might have to go into Witness Protection.
But you know, it might be a poor choice, but it's not offensive to most people. So what did he wear the next day after he decided to save the "I'd bottom you so hard," until the next day when he was off? "I'm not gay but twenty bucks is twenty bucks." I find that t-shirt kind of homophobic myself, but serious? To work? In an FBI office? Even after he's been told there's a dress code so he has to wear a jacket buttoned up even in a hot office? He couldn't just splurge on a dress shirt?
Did I mention that He had just bought he shirt to wear to the office because he didn't bring luggage? And these shirts are what he chooses to buy when he won't have any play time, just work time?
The weird thing is that he's genuinely surprised that they aren't okay with his shirts. And he tells them it's as good as it gets. Well, only if he's not going to pick up guys because that's, like, you know, important.
Well, I suppose he's better than his fellow marshal who goes to the FBI office wearing a T-shirt that says, "I don't cuddle...but I'll hold you tight while I fuck you."
Those slogans aren't funny to everyone. They're obscene and inappropriate for most situations. For him to wear one to work is ridiculous. He is constantly rude to people, even strangers, and yet he gets pretty upset when a secretary is overly polite and short with him even though he's trying to play nice. He thinks he's middle-aged which is a little old to be so immature that you have to go around trying to goad people all the time, especially when you can dish it but not take it. (He gets a little testy when a friend of his teases him about his age in front of Cody.) He also talks like he's a lot younger and/or female. "You so didn't just say that," and using "like" as an interjection.
Let me add that he won't say the word "bitch" in front of his nieces and nephews, but he'll wear these shirts out in public around other people's nieces and nephews. But he did wear a button down to go clubbing, a place where his shirt didn't matter because he took it off right away. Also, in the beginning he keeps whining that he doesn't have a partner and couldn't have one because of his job. How about because you act like you're still in college?
10. one MC who was boring (although very sweet)
I was ready to slit my wrists whenever Cody was home with his family. Even when he was along, he was so incredibly boring. I kept hearing how they got along great and there were things other than sex but I just didn't see it until well after they were pretty into each other and Mitch had spent an insane amount of money on Cody). (But see
11. clueless about money
These characters are civil servants but they make an exorbitant amount of money. They have really, really nice homes in nice areas and tons of extra cash.
NOTPICKS
(***chuckles***, that's a typo, but I like it, so it's staying.)
You don't give oral pain pills and antibiotics to someone who's only been out of surgery a few hours.
At one point a guy asks about another good-looking and very interesting guy:
Near the end, Cody said that It was never raised again.
CONCLUSION
The two reasons I finished this book were that I wanted to use it for SH and I kept hoping something interesting happened with the plot. Mitch keeps saying, "I'm missing something," "Something's here we just aren't seeing," (I won't even go into the ridiculousness of the endgame.)

But they're traditional roles for a female, and they definitely are not as powerful as, say, US Marshals or FBI agents, of which there were many in this book, all men. The AA's and secretaries were lauded for how smart or how scary they were, but they were all female. I don't know why not a single female character could be someone more than a secretary. Everyone--the doctors, attorneys, agents, politicians--who had a role to play in the plot (I really don't think making quick airline reservations counts) was male. ALL men. White men as far as I could tell. Which brings me to
3. exclusively white Christian
The main characters all went to church and this was very important to them. That's cool, but it was implied that one family would not think a partner was any good if he wasn't Christian. But this family was absolutely perfect, so I didn't get the impression that this was a bad thing. Then there was the fact that there wasn't a single name that was traditionally not white, not even Latino, let alone a description of someone not white. Remember there's a huge cast of characters. Not one, not a single one could have been Hispanic or black? This took place almost exclusively in the Southern United States and Washington D.C., both of which have very high populations of African Americans. Half was in Texas and how many Hispanic people live there? It was ridiculous.
4. looks-ist
Anyone who was good looking was good (and any good people who were described were good looking). The exact opposite was true for bad characters.
5. HORRIBLE police procedure
Even though . A suspect Anything obtained would be thrown out. The case would be completely ruined by that. But this kind of thing didn't seem to be a problem for him.
...Red tape and the concern for political correctness through the country really started to limit his abilities to get the job done efficiently.You mean the kind of PC-ness that allows you to be out and proud as a U.S. Marshal? The kind that makes gay-bashing a hate crime? The kind that makes sure that the truly guilty go to jail rather than those a police officer just suspects?
(Speaking of PC, everyone is playing a political game and he says, "Corporate politics meets political correctness at its finest." Um, no, political game playing in the environment he's discussing is not PC at all. AT ALL. Oh, but maybe PC to him means, "Treat women as if they're smart enough to be in politics or law enforcement."
6. slow moving
Nothing happens forever. NOTHING. It's like scenes were written and then rewritten and then written again and all three versions were included. The heroes take several chapters to even meet and then they are apart for the majority of the book. Page 35 was when something remotely interesting happened. Before that we found out a lot about Cody that was completely irrelevant (and boring, but we'll get there in a moment)/ There were so many sex scenes (and they were really, really not) so I felt like I was reading a porn novel not a romance. (The romance and the crime plot were completely unrelated until the predictable ending. Which brings me to...)
7. a stagnant and predictable plot
No new clues, no new suspects, no new information, no new data, no new interpretations, nothing at all happens until two thirds of the way through the book. As for the plot itself, I won't go into detail here. It's just formulaic, which isn't always bad--there's a reason for formulas and that is because people like them. But without anything else going for it, I was completely annoyed.

9. one MC who was a complete ass
Mitch is such a dick to everyone except Cody that I never got to like him. The first time Cody sees him, he swaggers up to the bar like he owns the place, thinking about how hot he is, and then he pushes Cody into doing stuff he isn't ready for and doesn't listen when Cody says no. Once it gets to the real flirting, the scene gets really, really hot, don't get me wrong, and Cody's hesitancy and Mitch's pushing are really sexy. But before that, I have no idea why Cody didn't just walk away. I personally would have laughed at Mitch if he came up to me like that.
But let me give you some details in addition to what I've said in other parts of this review. Mitch is the kind of free spirit who doesn't like to dress up, preferring to wear jeans and tees to work. Okay, trite, but got it. Then he has to go to Washington D.C. to the FBI office. They don't know him there, everyone knows they have a dress code, and he's shocked when they're not okay with what he's wearing. Okay, so far, I get both sides. It's hard to show how serious the situation is when you're dressed in weekend wear. But he's not an FBI agent, so why should he dress up? Well, he's not just wearing a T-shirt but ones with slogans. And I agree they're pretty funny. But wearing something that says, "You Don't Know Me Witness Protection" might be a little unnerving to a victim visiting the FBI offices, the kind of person that is scared that they might have to go into Witness Protection.
But you know, it might be a poor choice, but it's not offensive to most people. So what did he wear the next day after he decided to save the "I'd bottom you so hard," until the next day when he was off? "I'm not gay but twenty bucks is twenty bucks." I find that t-shirt kind of homophobic myself, but serious? To work? In an FBI office? Even after he's been told there's a dress code so he has to wear a jacket buttoned up even in a hot office? He couldn't just splurge on a dress shirt?
Did I mention that He had just bought he shirt to wear to the office because he didn't bring luggage? And these shirts are what he chooses to buy when he won't have any play time, just work time?
The weird thing is that he's genuinely surprised that they aren't okay with his shirts. And he tells them it's as good as it gets. Well, only if he's not going to pick up guys because that's, like, you know, important.
Well, I suppose he's better than his fellow marshal who goes to the FBI office wearing a T-shirt that says, "I don't cuddle...but I'll hold you tight while I fuck you."
Those slogans aren't funny to everyone. They're obscene and inappropriate for most situations. For him to wear one to work is ridiculous. He is constantly rude to people, even strangers, and yet he gets pretty upset when a secretary is overly polite and short with him even though he's trying to play nice. He thinks he's middle-aged which is a little old to be so immature that you have to go around trying to goad people all the time, especially when you can dish it but not take it. (He gets a little testy when a friend of his teases him about his age in front of Cody.) He also talks like he's a lot younger and/or female. "You so didn't just say that," and using "like" as an interjection.
Let me add that he won't say the word "bitch" in front of his nieces and nephews, but he'll wear these shirts out in public around other people's nieces and nephews. But he did wear a button down to go clubbing, a place where his shirt didn't matter because he took it off right away. Also, in the beginning he keeps whining that he doesn't have a partner and couldn't have one because of his job. How about because you act like you're still in college?
10. one MC who was boring (although very sweet)
I was ready to slit my wrists whenever Cody was home with his family. Even when he was along, he was so incredibly boring. I kept hearing how they got along great and there were things other than sex but I just didn't see it until well after they were pretty into each other and Mitch had spent an insane amount of money on Cody). 11. clueless about money
These characters are civil servants but they make an exorbitant amount of money. They have really, really nice homes in nice areas and tons of extra cash.
NOTPICKS
(***chuckles***, that's a typo, but I like it, so it's staying.)
You don't give oral pain pills and antibiotics to someone who's only been out of surgery a few hours.
At one point a guy asks about another good-looking and very interesting guy:
"Is he straight or gay," [[this person]] asked. Mitch would have sworn his friend sounded a little curious.That sounds to me like Mitch doesn't know the guy talking is gay. But
Near the end, Cody said that It was never raised again.
CONCLUSION
The two reasons I finished this book were that I wanted to use it for SH and I kept hoping something interesting happened with the plot. Mitch keeps saying, "I'm missing something," "Something's here we just aren't seeing," (I won't even go into the ridiculousness of the endgame.)

Two...
Count it: two...
muscle-bound, 6'4" alpha males.
One is tall, dark, handsome, and utterly badass...
and the other is a blonde, blue-eyed Southern cowboy.
This is the information I got while sampling the book, and I knew sure as hell I was going to be reading it.
And now let's see what else I thought about the book and not just showing how shallow I am.
Overall, I did really enjoy the book. Both Mitch and Cody were lovable characters. They were very sweet together
and, of course, very hot.
I found the build-up of their relationship pretty believable, going from casual liaisons to gradually developing feelings for one another and admitting those feelings.
I did find the first half of the book a little slow because the MCs were apart quite often and there was a lot of focus on the mystery aspect of the novel. However, the fact that the book was fused with underlying sexual tension and that these two were beyond hot when they did get together definitely got me through the parts of the novel that I did not like as much.
Ultimately, this was a fast-paced, fun, and scorching read that I am really glad I picked up.

I liked Mitch in the first book very much . He was fun and I was very happy he would get his own book.
So I was ready..
The story about Mitch Knox, Deputy United States Marshal.
And Cody Turner, a Texas State Trooper, Police officer.
The first half of this book was incredibly slow paced… There was this huge sexual tension between these men. And man… , when Mitch and Cody finally got together..
It was refreshing not seeing any homophobic behavior with any of Mitch’s or Cody’s families/siblings. They were very supportive.
Mitch is still busy solving the murders/assaults of gay men that started in the first book with the murder attempt of Colt that was ment for Jace. Loved reading about Jace and Colt again ♥♥♥
I loved Mitch. A masculine guy who exactly knew what he wanted and confident enough to express his feelings.
Cody was sweet but in the beginning insecure. Thought Mitch was way out of league!!
Overall this was a very enjoyable, HOT book and I’m looking forward to the third book!!

First things first, I loved Cody & Mitch. They were an absolute perfect match for each other. Balanced each other in all the right ways. Their romance was a fast whirlwind, intense passion, hotter scenes. When you find that everlasting love, you latch on, you push for it, you do what you have to do to get it. This series has been intense in showing the severity of hate crime, it's sad, its heartbreaking, yet when it gets taken down, shut down, locked away, and the key thrown away, I can smile knowing they didn't win, like and love WON!!! I liked this story, however I was so disinterested in the first 40% of this book I almost DNF'd, skimmed the majority of it, mostly only reading the parts where Cody & Mitch connected. I wanted the love story, I didn't want to read the every detail of an investigation. Don't get me wrong, it was great to see the steps they go to, go through in dealing with these situations, but it wasn't for me. And unfortunately it just made the story drag. I loved the last 45% of the book though =))

948 Big Smile Stars
What follows is a true story.....I was readying Full Disclosure on my Kindle on the elliptical at 5:30 A{freaking}M at the gym. Reading is the only way I can make myself exercise. I was smiling soooo big that someone actually stopped me and asked my why I was smiling so big at 5:30 A{freaking}M. I told them because I was reading such a great book. They wanted to know what it was. I was not sure they could handle all the awesomeness that is Kindle Alexander at at 5:30 A{freaking}M. So I just told them "a really great book by an author I love." True story. Big Picture.....I could not stop smiling during the whole book. Hence the 948 Stars.
We met and fell more than a little in love with Mitch in Double Full (Nice Guys #1). I highly recommend reading the first book first. You could read Full Disclosure as a stand alone, but you will love the characters so much more if you read them in order.
Back to the loveliness of Mitch. He is a Deputy US Marshall investigating a series of hate crimes. Mitch is tatted up, bulked up, and sexed up. He longs for relationship like his friends Jace and Colt.
He like his men big, thick, and muscular, and now his mind was fully occupied with sex
Cody is concentrating on his career goals of becoming a Texas Ranger. The law enforcement kind not the baseball players. When he and Mitch meet it all hot and sweaty on the dance floor. Hot as in HAWT. But that's all it can be. Just a hook up at the dance club. Cody knows he is not in Mitch's league. Mitch is out, proud and wayyyyy hot.
Why hadn't he noticed him before? Mr Ball Cap was all cowboy'd up in a little better than work boots, snug fitting worn blue jeans and white T-shirt....The bulk in his arms, causing Mitch's jeans to tighten that much more.
Mitch and Cody have a connection but distance and their career choices make a relationship hard to hold on to. The Marshall service and Texas State Troopers are a mostly a Guy's Club but not the fun kind of guy's club if you know what I mean.
Full Disclosure is all bare chests and boners. Mitch and Cody are so wonderful together. Wonderful is such a blah word for what they are. They are smutty tshirts, hard cuddling, bacon hording, blue jean butts, Rangers hats (the baseball kind, not the law enforcement kind), old man jokes, sexy grins, big families and the promise of something that could be forever. But everything is not easy going. They have to battle self-doubt, a serial killer and hate groups. Pretty big hurdles there.
As he looked at himself, he realized how funny it was to know you were forever changed on the inside, but the outside looked completely the same.
I loved this book so much. Like SO much. My words as not as well placed as Kindle Alexander's. So just know that this book is amazing, awesome, and will make you happy deep down inside where it really counts.
I can't wait for Book 3. I'm a sucker for Nice Guys.

Just when you think it can’t get any better, there comes Kindle, smacking you upside the head with a new story and leaving you reeling for days ‘cause you don’t know what to read next that will stand up to the book you just finished.
Brilliant!
This series keeps getting better and better but this doesn’t surprise me. I still have to be disappointed by what this ladies come up with.

I love how Kindle creates her characters. There’s always a balance between them and they complement each other perfectly.
Also, none of the situations they find themselves in will make you pause and think “this is pushing it a little bit to far”.
No one gets more than they can handle and this keeping it real make the Kindle books even better.
I love to read stories where I can connect with the characters and identify with them or with various situations. And this is what I found in every Kindle Alexander book.
I don’t know what more I could say.
Now, I’ll be chewing my nails and wondering what’s next. As much as I’d love to read Aaron and Kreed’s story as soon as possible, I’d prefer they take their time and do it right. It would be such a shame to ruin it.

Full Disclosure epitomises the romance we all dream of, the kind that melts your heart and feeds your soul, from the first fluttering's of infatuation, to your next breath being dependent on the person you love… and Kindle Alexander encompass all that and more in their writing… I loved this book!
I had already fallen for Mitch in Double Full, he is a character with a huge personality, a bad boy with that naughty glint in his eye. Full of charm, but edgy, all swagger and confidence, there is no doubt Mitch is the driving force in this relationship, hell, Mitch is just a force to be reckoned with, full stop… talk about all guns blazing! He is totally self assured in every aspect of his life, and with Cody, he’s no different, he wants him, not a familiar feeling for our hardened Deputy Marshall, but he makes damn sure Cody is well aware of the fact and he’s also not above bending the rules to get what he wants, a man not backward in coming forward… especially where Cody is concerned! Poor Cody with his conservative personality and tentative nature doesn’t stand a chance, he may be as assured and dogmatic as Mitch when it comes to the career he has so carefully forged and dreamed of, but the man has his mind in a mess of uncertainties and doubt. Cody seems like such a lost boy, especially in the company of the overly confident Deputy Marshall… And holy Jesus, Mary and Joseph, strike me down now, cause I ain’t got nothing but sinful thoughts… and they are all about Mitch Knox!

“My name’s Mitch? I’d really like to hear you use it when I’m fucking you later”
We meet Mitch at a crossroads in his life, a time where he feels he should be settled, instead he finds himself lonely and becoming little jaded, which has a lot to do with all the politics surrounding his career and the departments refusal to look into the hate crimes case we were introduced to in Double Full. Add to that his own inadequacies in progressing in the investigation, and our oh so sexy Deputy Marshall is just a tad grumpy. But it’s not only that part of his life that is leaving him disillusioned, seeing his friends Colt and Jace all loved up, has him jealously reflecting on his own love life… or lack of.
Cody is the opposite, he is on such a high after finally getting the job he was desperate for, his career is moving in the right direction, he’s focused, full of ambition and our boy is buzzing. Cody is such an ‘aww bless’ character, a charming and adorable southern shy country boy, a gentle giant, laid back and easy going but full of passion for all the things he is grateful for in his life. Cody is a man of honour and integrity but when it comes to his love life, his insecurities get in the way of putting himself out there… Haha, although we definitely see another side to him later on in the book!
I loved the build up, getting to know (and falling in love with) both men before they actually meet, Kindle did that so well, the anticipation was killing me, especially as we know, they are going to be in the same club at the same time. I had the inclination to get there early, order a bottle of wine and watch the action unfold… And believe me when I say, the wait was worth it because these two are sizzling together, the sexual tension is tangible! And don’t get me started on the incredibly hot phone and cyber sex sessions because that necessitates a cold shower!
“I don’t have Skype sex. I don’t do things like that,”
“I know, you said that several times last night, while we were having Skype sex… I’ve already jacked my dick raw just thinking about the look on your face when you came.”
I’m excited at the direction Kindle Alexander is going with this series, the underlying thread of the investigation from the first book and the friendship forged with Mitch and Colt merge these books together perfectly and with the next pairing set up very nicely… thank you very much, I can’t wait for Kreed and Aaron, haha… I see fireworks ahead there! And I love that the authors seem to be pushing the boundaries of their writing moving totally into a territory I love.
Cody had sealed himself inside his heart today. Now all he wanted to do was to protect what was his, and this man in his arms belonged to him.
In Full Disclosure we are treated to plenty of action to get the adrenaline going, as the investigation continues from book one, fabulously combined with a plethora of camaraderie and banter between the team that was just hilarious, I loved these guys together, they all have such huge personalities especially Mitch. And as much as I love him… because I really do, you just can’t help it, really, he’s just so droolworthy, a larger than life character and not only in size all tatted and gorgeous. Unfortunately, because of this I felt Cody was stifled, he got lost behind those big personalities involved in the investigation with all the intrigue and mystery, distanced from it all, and not only in miles. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore Cody too but I think he needed to be pulled into the plot more to be able to let him shine, we did see a bit of that towards the end but personally I wanted to see him more inclusive.
As always with Kindle Alexander we get the over all feel of love and romance, with a little angst thrown in, and plenty of spice to turn the heat up, they definitely know how to write those hot sex scenes and I was loving the whole male alpha vibe going on as they were both vying for dominance. There is a great family feel to this book too, which is something else these authors write so well and despite my pout about Cody, this is my favourite book so far from these guys…
Yeah, he was totally in love. Cody sucked him, rimmed him, and fucked him until his ass throbbed, and then cooked the perfect meal for him…steak and beans. They were a match made in in heaven.

Full Disclosure was a great follow up novel to Double Full. A sweet love story that packs some great steam, with some mystery and suspense.
US Marshal, Mitch Knox is still working on the case where his friend, Colt Michaels, was almost killed. Throughout the months, more and more similar hate crimes have occurred, and Mitch is busy trying to find the connection to getting this solved. Known as a serial dater, he is beginning to long for the kind of love that he sees in his friends, Colt and Jace. During a visit to see them, they all head out to a famous gay bar, and that's when he sees the hot cowboy loner.
Recently promoted to Texas Mounted Police from State Trooper, Cody Turner is in Dallas to celebrate his new job by himself. He has heard of the club, JR's, and this is his opportunity to check it out. Although not looking for a one-night stand, he also wouldn't pass it up if he were to come across a willing participant. Cody is more of a relationship type of guy, and when the sexy Mitch comes over to talk, have drinks, and dance with, he just knows he is not the kind of guy for him. Mitch is bad news, and has heartbreaker written all over him.
How can Mitch try to convince Cody to give him a shot? Should he even try to pursue something with this hard-to-win-over guy, when he has such a huge case to work on?
With uptight law enforcement, a killer on the loose, and long distance dating (including hot as hell phone sex), we experience the beginning of Mitch and Cody.
This was a pretty good "finding love when you least expect it" story. I was very excited to read about Mitch. I loved him in Double Full and I am so glad we were able to get to know more about him. I think Cody was a good match, and they fit together really well. Mitch being really outgoing, and Cody being more reserved. I enjoyed this Nice Guy installment, but I didn't love it like I loved the first. The first one was so much more emotional and heartbreakingly beautiful, and this one just didn't hold up to that. Which is fine. I get it's a different story with different characters, but DF was really powerful, and I guess I was thinking I'd get more of that going in. I think we really got to know Mitch, but I left this feeling like I didn't really know Cody. He was a man of few words, which was endearing but...vague.
Their relationship moved pretty fast, but you couldn't deny the intense heat and connection these two had. I loved the whole phone and Skype sex. There is something about having more dialog and relying on your words, than the actions themselves. Plus the whole long-distance thing gives great sexual tension. And when the two finally get together for real, it is nothing short of flaming passion. I think the m/m genre has this licked (pun intended) and Kindle Alexander does an amazing job writing their interactions.
The story beyond the romance was done well.
If you like Double Full, or m/m romance reads, I would recommend. It's a little slow going, but there is a great story there. I have loved all of Kindle Alexander's books so far, and the third Nice Guy book will be read the moment it comes out. So excited to see what happens next...slight cliffy.

I realized something while I was reading Full Disclosure: my tastes have changed quite a bit in the past few months. I used to hate reading books with too much plot and too much focus on anything other than the romance. But in the past few months, the books I've enjoyed the most are plot-heavy in which the romance is still strong, but not necessarily the only thing going on.
Full Disclosure follows Deputy Marshall Mitch Knox, who we met in Double Full, and State Trooper Cody Turner. Let me just get to the point with these two: they're both big, muscled and hot alpha males. My inner perv was pleased.
I'd really been looking forward to reading Mitch's story. While I gave Double Full 3 stars, I've gotta say that Mitch probably played a big part in rekindling my interest once I got bored with the story. In book 2, Mitch is continuing on with the case that he picked up in book 1, but he's having trouble getting funding and support from his superiors. This changes while he's on a short work-related trip to Dallas, Texas. Dallas is also where he meets Cody, a somewhat shy Southern boy who's clearly out of place in the gay club scene. The two have to call a rain-check on their aborted one-night stand as Mitch is called in to Washington, D.C. to work with the FBI on his case.
What follows, at least until the 50-55% mark, is a crime novel. Cody and Mitch's romance takes the back seat, and they don't actually meet again until the second half of the book. But don't worry, because we do get some phone sex and Skype sex. And some awkward yet funny text chats.
And when they do finally get back together? HAWT .
But as I was saying: the crime. The case takes up most of the book. While certain aspects of it were predictable, particularly after 70%, I thought that overall it was very well-written and suspenseful at the right times. It may not be the best out there, but I liked it and it kept my attention. And that twist right at the end? Awesomesauce.
Beyond the case and the hot sex, the romance was quite enjoyable. Seeing these two work around both professional and personal hurdles was entertaining, to say the least. I especially liked reading Mitch's transformation from a one-night-stand-virtuoso to a relationship-kind-of-man. And Cody? Well, I now have a thing for muscled quiet blonde boys. Bonus points of he looks good in a cowboy hat.
I'd recommend this book for anyone wanting to read about two men coming together while trying to balance their professional lives as lawmen, and everything that entails. However, if you like your books to be focused mostly on the couple, and aren't too fond of murder/crime plots, then you might want to consider something else. Overall, I really enjoyed Full Disclosure and I can't wait for Kreed's story in book 3.

If you didn’t like Mitch in book one then this may not be for you. Me? I loved the guy. And here he’s been ramped up to an eleven. He’s such a big personality and a force of nature that the romance constantly plays second-fiddle to him. That didn’t bother me at all, because it came eventually, but I’m sure it may grate on a lot of readers. Cody is constantly taking a back seat and seems positively plain in comparison, which may have people scratching their heads as to the attraction. Delving deeper you’ll see that they really are a perfect pair, just kept apart by distance and time.
Mitch’s fierce and honest pursuit of Cody is one of those things often missing in romance. Honesty, truth and talking about feelings and the future help balance out the seeming one-sidedness of their relationship, until Cody finally feels confident enough to return them. Without this the book would have fallen flat.
This book is obviously a few years old at this point and it definitely shows. But if you can overlook a few things this is still a fun read. Steamy in the best way and full of big, badass, protective men, it’s escapism at a time when it’s needed.

I really loved this book! I wanted to give 5 stars, but there were a few things that I would like to be different...
The beginning is too slow, there is a lot of time directed to the mystery and the investigation and I found myself feeling inside me their sexual tension... I wanted something to happen, and that took some time. I love the plot, I really do! The crimes and the investigation hooked me, but I wanted more of them, much more...

I adored seeing Colt and Jace; not only is the love they share clear to the reader but Colt’s bantering with Mitch over his flirting with Jace is hysterical.
When these men hit the town I was so entertained, at dinner I felt like I was in the room and the moment Mitch stops Cody across a crowded club I too felt I was seeing Cody and wanted to get to know him. Cody is so shy at first and yet again the use of Colt had me grinning from ear to year.
The connection Mitch and Cody share is tangible, the chemistry, the connection I was instantly rooting for them.
There is so much in this story that was so well done. Ms. Alexander not only created Mitch and Cody for readers to love but the whole cast of characters were so well developed that they pull readers into this world, a world where two men are trying to make a relationship work while both having demanding careers. I loved that about this story, relationships don’t live in a vacuum, love isn’t always enough, you truly have to work to make it work, you have to steal a moment when you can, and these two do that!
This book also contains wonderful character interactions, not only adding more for the readers to love but allowing the reader to see so many sides of Mitch and Cody.
Cody with his family endeared him to my heart and Mitch with his US Marshall Partner Kreed Sinacola was hysterical and Mitch’s interactions with the FBI agents, especially Tyler Connors were so well done.
Cody’s family, the Turner family were wonderful; really allowing the reader to understand Cody. The story line for the Sinacola family was powerful, I loved the family and I so want a happy for Kreed. I hope we learn more about these events in book 3; because wow this family touched my heart.
Cody and Mitch coming to terms with a deep attraction neither expected but can’t deny will pull the reader in. And the weekend they share, their I love you revolve around an event that may break your heart (nope not telling read the book!).
Witnessing Cody open up, watching Mitch push him a bit and Cody coming to terms with his feelings allows you to be part of this journey with Cody. And the moment Cody embraces those emotions and takes Mitch, well that scene was epic. So yes in true Ms. Alexander fashion this book is emotional and HOT.
Towards the end I will say, I was white knuckling my kindle praying Mitch and Cody could find a way to live out their happy.
In the end… OMG the end…. let’s just say Mitch and Cody have their happy, one that touched my heart. The epilogue was amazing, truly bringing US Marshal Mitch Knox full circle, witnessing this scene warmed my heart and made my giggle because yes readers you get another chance to watch Mitch and Colt banter!
The very end of this book, like the last few words well I will just say this is a suspense crime drama that just keeps giving.
I am very excited for Nice Guys #3 because Kreed Sinacola needs a happy and has a mission!

While reading a story did you ever feel you are reading two story simultaneously.Yes that is how I felt reading this story.I don't understand why the author didn't involve Cody in solving the case.He being in law enforcement as well.Maybe completely different department
and him being a rookie.But....doubt lingering

What more,let me think...ooh I got to read about some emotional moments,some insecurities from both the hero,little bit of pushing and probing of Mitch professionally as well as personally.
Then Mitch gets to meet Cody's family when Cody is hospitalized.
Mitch introduces his dad to Cody.And in epilogue the entire family.
Two prospective very sexy and very interesting characters were introduced with a suspense yet to be solve.As the culprit is not working alone......

There is a lot of sex in this book. Sexual tension, sexual innuendo, phone sex, Skype sex., swapping being top and bottom sex, rough sex, tender sex, lovemaking...it is just cock chock full of S.E.X. Since I like sex- this was a win for me.
So the two MC - Mitch and Cody (and can I say YES on the name choice...both those names scream hot yummy manliness to me) were excellent together. Cody's reticence and eventual realization of his feelings seemed authentic. He kept doing things and then being like "WTF am I doing..." and that rang pretty true to me. Sometimes lust really does will out. Mitch was a bit feminine what with him always talking about feelings - but overall an ok character.
I deducted a star because the crime and mystery surrounding it (them) was not as strong as it might have been for how exxtreemmeeelllyyy much it was dealt with. I like me some plot - but I prefer the MC's don't wander aimlessly with tons of dialogue surrounding mysteries/solving crime. The Feebs and others (other than Connors) seemed to bleed together in my head and I sometimes found myself wandering off in the middle of a scene just due to the length and amount of repetition. It could be edited down and tightened and then I think it would have more tension and drama as it deserved more of that. This is an author I'm waiting to see picked up and published more widely. Not that she's not doing well on her own - but to me she's sort of like someone waiting to be majorly discovered because I think there's some real talent here to craft great characters and hot sex - with a good plot. She never skimps on time with the MC's either. You will really get to know her characters well - and so connections are easy in her books.
Overall a solid 4 stars. I liked the first one better in the series but the one I really want to read is Kreed. Bring. Him. On.

Why do authors use the phrase 'like girls do' or similar things to justify when men get emotional.
The author repeatedly used such a statement. When Cody was wanted to wait in the airport to watch mitch leave the author used that girls probably did stuff like that.
No all of us. Jeez. I, personally, have never met a woman who wd do that, but even if they were please stop being sexist and saying that that something only girls do. Assuming that girls are emotional is just assholish. There's nothing wrong with guys waiting on their partner either. It doesn't have to be a girly act to show love or care or appreciation for fucks sake.
Again, when crude (sexual) jokes were made, the woman were shown as oblivious. Like they could never understand what sucking a sausage can entitle. Bitch, please. We have access to all the things you guys have acess too.

My oh my…
What an incredible M/M novel.
Mitch and Cody´s story is very sexy and sweet. I loved that they were both well crafted‚ mature characters and they both easily grow on you. Their story has the right amount of drama and suspense that will glue you even more to the story.
This book pressed all the right buttons for me and I really had a great time reading it‚ enjoying the authors pleasant writing style.
This story is a keeper for me.
I was not left disappointed and I am looking forward to read more from the author in the future.

What I liked: Mitch and Cody
What I didn't like: they were barely together
I like my books romantic with a side of suspense. This one was heavy on the suspense and too light on them as a couple.
I actually skimmed most of the police stuff.

Mitch is the guy who helped out Colt after his little accident that wasn't an accident, ya know the sexy US Marshal. This is his very sexy covered book.
Mitch Knox has been working hard on this case, the case that hurt his friend and killed several other fairly high profile gay men, by himself, since no one else believes in or wants to invest in it, not until a senator's son is targeted then all of a sudden it's top priority and he's partnered up with a tight assed FBI agent to track down whoever's behind the attacks.
And then everything comes to a halt the moment he spots the most beautiful cowboy sitting at a bar.
Cody Turner is a Texas State Trooper working his way up to Texas Ranger(yum) while at a nightclub being a little wallflower a most sexy tattooed man comes up to him. Lust burns between them on the dance floor but both his shyness and the shock of discovering who his dance partner is holds Cody back. Before they can really get anything going Mitch is called away on business. Cody believing he'll probably never hear from him again. He does.
Mitch can't stop thinking about that sexy state trooper even as the hunt for the killer escalates. Calling, texting and skyping is all fun and good but physical contact would be much preferred. It's a while before they get together again but those few days spent together starts something and watching his friends Colt and Jace really has him wishing for something more maybe this could be it.
I've loved everything I've read of Kindle's almost as much as I love the covers for said books I mean have you seen them?
Mmhmm I loved Full Disclosure and not just because I'm the biggest badge bunny. Great book full of action and sexy sex, well there was one sex scene that I didn't like all that much but that's due to my own personal issue. That ending was super sweet :) There was also and omg part there at the end that has me totally looking forward to the next book.
