A great resource for all things live-audio related. Well written, with diagrams and figures to accurately explain the complete process of setting up and mixing live audio.
Some applications and products are now out of date, which is true of any book if not revised and updated regularly. However, that does not detract from the quality of advice – which can never go out of date. Recommended.

This is an amazingly practical guide to live sound operation. Everything is explained in plain English and all the terms are defined with excellent examples. It covers most everything I wanted to know about live sound operation. I highly recommend it.

Really good first read for someone looking into live sound or, in my case Backline engineering in a live environment. Picked the book as a reference tool for university coursework and, was highly worth it. Concerning buying the book as a go to tool when on the job.

However it is a large book and very heavy. But what comes with that is the book is very in depth and covers a large amount of content very helpful.
