Not only is there something seriously wrong in the National Park, but she finds that her gorgeous but moody boss, Jean-Luc du Lamond, whose personal history matches her own, is sinking into a life of misogyny. He is reluctant to grant her any professional respect until circumstances force him to call upon her expertise.

I loved this book. Multi-faceted, it took the reader into the lives of the characters in a believable way, as well as the fascinating and tragic life of the wolf pack struggling to re-establish itself modern in Europe. Well written and researched, the story will stay with me for a long time. As part of a series it has left room for further development, without it being an unbearable cliffhanger. Yes, I enjoyed it and want to know more about these characters. And it was great to meet up with Raoul and Joyce again!

It was okay. I liked the premise of the book but i wanted more depth to the characters and to have the story more fleshed out.
