This is a good non fiction book about groundhogs and has just enough facts for a young learner to begin to understand about these cute animals. We also read this book while they were discussing Groundhog Day in school, so putting the actual animal to the day of celebration was helpful to show they are real and they are pretty neat. The pictures are great and most of the words can be read independently.
