Was a decent read. Wouldn't highly recommend it per say, but it was okay. Nothing surprising at all and it was a smooth ride to the end. I wish we got a scene with them in the distant future and a more in-depth exploration of how Snape took Hermione's disappearance. I know there was a whole chapter with scenes from Snape's POV, but it somehow feels like it would have been satisfying to see more of his conflicting feelings. I also wondered a bit about how Hermione reconciled the image of Professor Snape to the younger Snape, something which is not at all covered. And it just occurred to me that so much had happened to Snape in the twenty-two years she wasn't with Snape. These are things that we as readers never get to see covered by the two. I don't like to project other fanfiction books onto others, but I can't help but notice the reconcilation between young Snape and older Snape should be one that Hermione might have to adjust to. We just don't see that at all and I now realize that shouldn't be possible unless Hermione had already thought about it in the time she was in the Marauders' Era, but I doubt that.

It was beautiful. I felt the pressing issue of time slipping though Hermione's fingers while she needed to make our beloved (younger version) professor to fall in love with her and want to fight. Didn't really fall in love with the name chosen for her, but the fanfic was really awesome .

Not always a sure fan of time-travel fics, but with a time-crunch, this story was able to set itself apart in a way. With that being said, I really like the past and interim period chapters. However, the last few chapters of the present--I wanted more. But overall fun read.
