Needing a vacation Emily heads to the mountains with her friends for some down time. Away from the stress of Johnathan and being separated from Claire Emily finds herself relaxing and letting go. While she spends most of her time with her bodyguard and best friend James she finds herself growing closer to him. She can't believe how this wonderful man could be alone. As they grow closer he reveals why he is alone and Emily finds that she wants nothing more than to make him feel worthy of a good woman. When vacation is over Emily and James return to find Johnathan has a surprise but is it really something Emily wants or is it too late for Johnathan.

FINALLY!!! Ok, so I have been so confused and angry at the first two books but now everything makes sense! Love this part of the story I finally feel like things are heading in the right direction for Emily. Having James in her life as her friend and bodyguard has really changed everything. I LOVE James! What a fantastic character and the story is getting better and better. Cannot wait for the next book. I need to know what happens now! Definitely the best of the 3 books.

OMG!!! okay first lemme say I think im gonna die from waiting for those twins birth! this book rocked..I am so happy it went the way I wanted to in the end..JAMES JAMES JAMES the PERFECT male! oh how I understand her need of the penis-cillin! Tons of drama and sex
If you're looking for a storyline filled with up and down drama and guessing who will end up with who along with A LOT of sex scenes (guy/girl, girl/girl, self pleasure) you will like this story.

What can I say about this book? First... I was sent an ARC copy by the author for an honest review.... IT WAS FUCKING FANTASTIC! <3

I fell in love with book one and was on a MAJOR book HIGH for days! Then I didn't think she could do it to me again and well... I read book two and BAM.... she did! I was BLOWN away..... but let me tell you this.... Book Three... Stricken Trust made me HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! I was very happy with the way this book ended! <3

This book gave me the sexual and emotional stuff I Craved from the first two. It was FULL of Sex! Great sex! Sex that made me want to be Emily! We don't get all the drama we got in the first two and I was happy with that.

This book I felt was the story of Emily.....learning to love....learning to grow.....preparing herself to become a mother. Emily struggles with a lot in her life. I mean her baby daddy is Jonathan from Stricken and that alone causes a lot of drama and stress. Not to mention, she is struggling with finding herself in a way. She loses things that are close to her along the way and finds others. She struggles with what is good for her now or what could be good for her in the long run...the future! She has to think what will be best for her child.

We don't hear much from Jonathan in this book and that too, I was okay with. Because he isn't my favorite person right now! He has a lot of growing up to do and I just don't know if he is capable of doing that. As much as I can't stand him right now... I do hold a soft spot in my heart for him. Why? Because, he is Jonathan - sexy, alpha, rock star - from Stricken.... =) He can make your panties melt ladies! BUT- he has a lot of issues that he needs to get through. He needs to grow up!

We see a lot of James in this one. We meet James in book 1 and more so in book 2 and I FELL IN LOVE WITH JAMES- especially in book 2. (I even told SK that I loved him) I want to be with James. This man right here is BOOK BOYFRIEND SWOON WORTHY! He's totally different than other book boyfriends though and you will see when you follow the series. He's AMAZING as a friend and protector of Emily! He would risk his own life to protect Emily and her unborn child.

I know that this third book was a tad different than the first two. Like I said...not so much drama or angst... but I feel like it was necessary for us to read about Emily while she is not with Jonathan. We needed to see how she could handle things on her own (kinda). She needed time to focus on herself and the baby and to see what she really wants in the future.

Emily deserves to have someone love her and to treat her like a princess. She and Jonathan have had a rough relationship and this was a much needed break in my opinion. I think SK did a Wonderful job in allowing Emily to grow. I didn't find her weak (as I have read others say) I found her to be emotional due to a rocky relationship with Jonathan and being pregnant. I found her to rely on the friendship with James to get her through some not so good times. She and James together as friends works! They needed each other to deal with shit that has went on in their pasts and that continue to go on.

Will Emily get her HEA? Will Jonathan grow up? Will James continue to be a part of their lives? I guess we will have to leave that in the hands of the AMAZING SK! She knows whose team I am on ;)

Grab the first book in the series now.... for only 1.99 and fall in love with these characters. You will love them and you will hate them. I mean it's a ROCK STAR kinda love... that's never easy! I just finished Stricken Trust and I just loved it. I can tell you that the cover can be very deceiving and in a good way! This is a continuance from Stricken Desire(1st) and Stricken Unveiled (2) so you should already know that this is about Jonathan and Emily. Jonathan had gotten out of rehab and still doing his sex drugs and rock and roll thing. Emily is fed up with his crap so this one is about her needing time away. Her bodyguard James takes her to Colorado for some much needed relaxation for her and especially her babies. What will happen when you are with someone that cares for you and your babies the babies daddy is really not in the picture? Do you continue to try to see if something can happens with him or do you choose the man that can love you unconditionally and has always treated you better? You will have to read and see...

I just loved this one. I enjoyed it by far then the other two, now Im not saying that the others were bad because they were good in there own way but this one for me was just awesome. I think alot has to do with James. James is super sexy and has been through so much and he just loves Emily like she deserves. He really cares for her and takes good care of her and her babies. I want him! Emily is still awesome! I just love her and am so thankful that her character has just gotten stronger. I love how she hasn't changed and that she still doesn't take Jonathan's crap. He is still the way he is just not as bad. I really just feel that James is a much better fit and I hadn't been expecting that. The author really pulled that one out of the bag for me. Without ruining it, you have to read it and see what happens. I was definitely torn and I am super excited to see what will happen in the final story.

I loved all the characters, they have gotten better for me. There is different story lines the are intertwined but it doesn't take away from the story but like how it is included so you know the ins and outs of what is going on.

I am so glad that I stuck with this story and am loving how the author is taking this. I cannot wait to see what happens. I am definitely a fan!

Oh Dear.. where do I start.?? this serie keeps getting better and better with each book... I admit that this book was a roller coaster of emotions for me which is great (YES Ms. Logsdon YOU'RE A GENIUS).. I reaaaaaaaally love where the author is going with the storyline and of course I think this was the best of the three books because I love James. He's so perfect and sweet and protective of the one who loves and that's awesome.

I think is safe to say that I hate Johnathan and Emily is not one of my favs either. I think she's wrong in so many levels.. but they deserve their happiness so I hope they seriously GROW THE HELL UP.

Finally, I can't wait to read the next book and find out what will happen with the Now Happy Couple (I won't say it because I hate Spoilers) and the twins.. God I'm anxious for the final book. *squeal*

Oh cielos .. ¿por dónde empiezo.?? esta serie se pone cada vez mejor y mejor con cada libro ... Tengo que reconocer que este libro fue una montaña rusa de emociones para mí, lo cual es grandioso (SI Sra. Logsdon es una genio) .. Me encanta a donde el autor va con la historia y, por supuesto, creo que este fue el mejor de los tres libros porque me encanta James. Es tan perfecto, dulce y protector de lo que ama y eso es genial.

Creo que es seguro decir que odio a Johnathan y Emily no es una de mis favoritas tampoco. Creo que ella está mal en muchos niveles .. pero merecen su felicidad, así que espero que en verdad MADUREN RAPIDO.

Por último, no puedo esperar a leer el próximo libro y saber qué va a pasar con la pareja ahora feliz (no voy a decir cual porque no me gustan los Spoilers) y los gemelos .. Dios, estoy ansiosa por el libro final. * Grito *

OK before I start let me just say I really want to know how this is going to end in book 4! Especially after I read the blurb! K, now on with my thoughts! ;-)

Emily ~ K, still not liking her in this book at all. I mean she is so wishy-washy with everyone and she doesn't actually settle on anyone permanently! She keeps going from bed to bed to bed! Well not literally cause she's on bed rest but you get the jest. As for her relationship with Claire I didn't get why she was so upset that she dumps her, I mean she herself kept saying it was just for fun and she didn't like her that way! Her relationship with James I thought was bound to happen eventually. But in all honesty I don't see it lasting at all!

Johnathan ~ I really and truly do NOT understand him in this one. I mean I do get that he's head over heels in love with Emily! But I don't get it in the end, cause he loves her but he can't keep his dick in his pants! And it was a low move on his part to have his current f-buddy come take care of Emily, even if Emily doesn't know they're fucking!

James ~ Sadly I love him but I don't see Emily as his HEA at all! He just doesn't have enough of a hold over her, cause in the end she will go back to Johnathan and leave James behind! James is sweet as can be but he just isn't the right man to keep ahold of Emily in the end!

Overall its a good book and good story! It did drag in a few places but also in others it was like it was too busy. But it kept my interest and I'm curios as to what will happen!

After things in LA get way too stressful for Emily to handle, she decides to take a vacation with her best friend and body guard James. Being away from all the crap Johnathan has put Emily through and being separated from her previous best friend Stacey and her girlfriend Claire, Emily finds herself turning more towards the comfort of James. She learns more about him and finds feelings that were hidden deep within her. Following a truly relaxing vacation, Emily returns to LA, Johnathan, and all the other stress that is included there and finds Johnathan stepping his game up to try and win Emily back. Emily must make a choice about Johnathon, but is it too late for Emily and him?

Reading books one and two made me angry, confused, and honestly a little hostile but SK is a complete genius. I loved every minute of this book and am seriously counting down until the time for the fourth and final book to be released. In this book, we learn much more about James and who he is, and I must say he is pretty amazing. He was there for Emily throughout everything anyone has done for her, and is a genuinely a great individual.

Not really feeling this James vibe. He is so insecure to the point where I feel she is coddeling him. I think he is her comfort zone. "teddy bear" I don't feel the connection. I may be one of the few who don't. Yes. Jonathan is an ass, yes Claire has changed, but I dont see James being it. I could go into a lecture and point out how all of these relationships are dysfunctional.

Also, what happened to the strong, mouthy, back talking, not taking anyones crap, Emily? She is weak in this one. I mean for crying out loud, the falling incident did not require a carry back to the house. Also she is acting like an attention whore. Just about everyone who shows her attention she either makes out with or sleeps with. I am losing respect for the main character. I could go on about this but I would give spoilers.

Loved the first 2 books. Just not feeling this one. will write more later..

The story, as it nears the end, is getting better and better. I love the relationship between James and Emily. James is the complete opposite of Johnathan. He cares deeply for Emily and he shows her how he feels all the time. Johnathan, however, keeps sticking his foot in it and seriously, I would have said "adiós" a while ago. Yes, he's the twins' father, but he should show more respect towards himself and towards Emily.
I'm Team Papa Bear all the way... I just hope nothing goes majorly wrong... I feel that something is going to happen because of where they are in their relationship when this book ends.
A negative point: editor! There are many, many errors, like using "women" meaning "woman" and viceversa, or separating sentences when they shouldn't be divided.

I gave this book a 5 oh because I love it so lol. Where to start I have read all of s.k. Books and have loved them all. She throws so much at you that it will make your head spin ( in a good way) I was so happy to read that James was the man she picked thank god! I'm not a big fan of Jonathan he is a ass and if I had it my way he would end up alone! Ugh she is a authors that will keep you guessing as to what will happen! I'm so happy that Claire has moved on and is happy, she made Emily very happy in the time they were together. But James well he is a man after my own heart, he can pick me up and carry me anytime lol all in all wonderful nook s.k. Let's see how she will end this series..

So mad that I started this series before all the books were out!! Really loving this adventure that Emily is having, she is for the most part a strong female character finding her way through life. The story is definitely not what I thought it would be and I am enjoying the journey through the twists and turns. However, I still can't rate it higher than 3.5 stars due to the very bad editing job that continues to be a distraction otherwise, it would get a higher rating since the storyline is there.

I started this book last night and the book hangover is so worth it. I loved this and the relationship that should have happened from the start of this series is FINALLY happening YAY!!!

The love that developed between Em & James is what love is supposed to be like; passionate, hot and constant. I found at times that Em was a bit of a flake but seeing all the crap that she has had to put up with from Johnathan it's not her it's him.

I will try and have patience waiting for the 4th and final installation of this series.

This third book in this series continues the story of Emily and all the conflicted loves in her life. I do like Emily she is a strong kick ass woman. I love that she gives Jonathan as good as he gives her. Their relationship is is wild, but I love it.

I have to admit that no matter what happens between James, Claire, Stace and Emily, I am still rooting for her and Jonathan. I know he has done some pretty bad things but I feel Emily is good for him. I don't like the new person Cammie but I love her son Dylan. I can't wait for the next and final book. Good read by S.K. Logsdon.

Wow, this book really blew me away. I have been team Jonathon all the way even though he's real arse but by the end of the book I fell for James!! He's a sweet and considerate man who is faithful to Emily in more ways than Jonathon can ever be. Seriously can Jonathon get even more screwed up!!
And Deacon OMG this guy is wicked, really S.K Logsdon you need to write a book about him, I can only imagine what his story would be like:)

I am so wanting to know what happens with Emily and James? Is Jonathan going to cause more problems for them? I love this book. It was hard to put down. Being sick it help pass the time and made it so I didn't mind being sick. I was wanting to know more. I was not expecting Emily to fall in love with James but it seems right though as sweet as he is. I love my husband but I think everybody needs a James.

OMG all I can say is JAMES! He is the guy we all wish we had! So sweet and caring and protective! I want my very own Papa Bear! The sex is so hot, but more importantly, S.k. Builds a huge sense of intimacy with these characters. So much more so than with any I f the others. You get glimpses of such private and emotional moments with James and Emily! This is my favorite book so far!
If they don't end up together I might have to strangle the author! Lol

OH, how I LOVE JAMES!!!!! I was glad to see Emily distancing herself from Johnathan. I did not like Stacy as a gay man. I preferred him as bi. His relationship with Kyle didn't work for me. I was swooning over Papa Bear. I love how he was with the babies. The scene where he told Emily his darkest secret was awesome. I feel it was a turning point in this story.
