You fell in love with Lacy Snow in Sisters in White (Snow Sisters, Book Three). Follow her on her path to her forever love in Sea of Love.

Lacy Snow hadn’t been looking for love when she met strikingly handsome and seductive Dane Braden. But how could she ignore the six-foot-three darkly handsome God who tagged and researched sharks for a living—and made every nerve in her body tangle into an overly sensitive knot? Even her fear of sharks could not suppress their intense attraction.

As the founder of the Brave Foundation Dane Braden travels from port-to-port educating and advocating on behalf of the mammals he adores—and spends his nights finding solace in the arms of strangers. The last thing Dane was looking for when he met Lacy Snow was a relationship, and the last thing he expected was to fall in love.

More than a year—and hundreds of flirty texts, steamy phone calls, and sensual video chats—later, they reunite and take passion to a whole new level. But as Lacy’s phobia meets Dane’s past love life, their steamy romance is upended, and when tragedy strikes, Dane and Lacy are forced to face their deepest fears head-on as they try to navigate their own sea of love.

Audiobook: Narrator – B.J. Harrison
I am beginning to expect this narrator for each book in this series and I’m more than okay with that. He does an exceptional job of bringing a deeper element of emotion to the story than reading the book alone would do. This particular performance hit me at the right time and I was more than ready for some B.J. Harrison as his smooth voice pulled me into this story.

Lacy and Dane have been texting, skyping and a few other naughty-ish things online for the last fifteen months. Now that they are finally face to face, they are more than ready to take things to the next level. But as they actually face each other, they must confront why they’ve allowed so many months to separate them as well as what issues might keep them apart.

This was a bit angsty as the story evolves from one place in their relationship to a place full of fear. My heart hurt for both Lacy and Dane. However, watching them face their problems and overcome them made me fall even deeper in love with them.

The background of a good portion of this book revolves around research in sharks and there are a lot of interesting tidbits shared throughout. I found it to increase my enjoyment. There are plenty of scenes with past favorite characters and a few new ones introduced. The steam is definitely on the high level and there are a few moments of humor. Overall, this was a very enjoyable audio that I refused to turn off when I normally would have done so.

I liked this one. This wasn’t my favorite book by this author but it was an entertaining listen all the same. This book features Dane, one of the Braden siblings, and Lacy, one of the three Snow sisters. I was looking forward to watching them come together in this book. This story is a stand-alone but fans of the series will enjoy checking in with characters from previous stories.

I am learning that I can be quite the mood reader, especially lately. After a couple of hours of listening to this book, I set it aside to listen to a murder mystery since I just didn’t seem to be feeling this one. I came back to it a few days later and it worked much better for me. I tend to think of these romances as sweeter stories, even though there is a fair amount of heat. I like this kind of story but I have to be in the mood for it.

Dane and Lacy have been talking to each other on the phone and online for the past 15 months. They are more than ready to be together when they finally get the chance to see each other again. There is one big obstacle to any possible relationship. Dan spends his days researching sharks while Lacy is terrified of sharks after surviving an attack as a child. I have to say that this obstacle didn’t make a lot of sense to me. I have been married for over 20 years and have never felt the need to go with my husband to work. I just felt like he could go work with sharks while she goes to her job and the problem would disappear. I just kind of decided to go with it anyway. I did like Dane and Lacy. They had fantastic chemistry with each other and they were both incredibly kind. They both wanted to figure out how to make things work with each other deep down. It was fun watching their relationship grow over the course of the story.

B.J. Harrison once again did a great job with the narration of this story. He does a great job with both the male and female voices and he always speaks very clearly. He has a very pleasant voice and I think that he adds a lot of emotion to the story which added to my overall enjoyment.

I would recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. I found this to be a nice easy listen and look forward to reading more of this author’s work in the future.

I received a copy of this audiobook from the author/publicist.

AudioBook Review:
Stars: Overall: 4 Narration 4 Story: 4

Lacy and Dane first met 15 months ago at her sister’s wedding: but distance and careers kept them apart. They’ve managed to keep in touch via telephone, Skype and email: but each loves the job they have, and neither is particularly ready for a full-on relationship. Lacy is working in her dream job: marketing and promotion, and she’s completely comfortable doing just that. Sure, she’s attracted to Dane, and she does dream of him, not to mention being totally turned on, but his job (and his commitment to it) scare her to death. Dane makes his living tagging sharks and educating people about them. He’s obsessed with sharks and probably has more than a mild streak of adrenaline junkie. He doesn’t know of Lacy’s bone-deep fear of sharks, or her concerns about a relationship with a man who not only won’t put her first as he works all the time, but works around such danger.

These two are cute together – and Lacy’s certainly got plenty to decide on: is it worth her effort to get attached to a man who works with the thing that scares her most – especially when he’s ALWAYS working? And what about that – is he running away from potential commitments, finding it easier to hide out with the man eaters? Oh Dane does appear to truly enjoy Lacy, and he cares for her – but he’s got a streak of spoilt and isn’t willing to discuss compromise. But neither can forget the electric connection, the steam that rises between them in every interaction – and what steam it is. With plenty of moments from other characters, including plenty of sisterly advice, the two do manage to both open up and be honest, and just maybe Lacy can overcome some of her fear, just as Dane is willing to open up to the possibility of being hurt by love.

Narration for this story is provided by B.J. Harrison, and while his performance was adept and acceptable, my ears and heart yearn for some dual narrative performances for this series, adding that palpable touch of feminine energy that Lacy so required and deserved. His performance of Dane and the other males in the cast felt natural, but there was a clear element missing with the women: it wasn’t for a lack of tone / pitch /delivery changes but a sense of energy that was less male, more feminine and softer, more an iron fist in velvet glove feel than I got here.

Each of these stories works alone, and while previous characters appear and influence the story, the listener is provided with enough information to understand the relationship in the moment, and becomes a treat for listeners familiar with their stories as they are allowed a moment to continue their own stories. The Braden men are solidly good guys – even when they misstep, and are sure to be favorites of many.

I received an AudioBook copy of the title from the producer for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

I read this years ago and failed to rate it. This week I began this series for the second time. Love Melissa Foster's series!!!

This was a very good love story. I enjoyed it but had a bit of struggle with the safety aspect.

H and h met at a family wedding and they both fell and fell fast. He began calling, texting and skyping her afterwards and they talked almost daily, from what I understood. This went on for fifteen months until the next family wedding where they planned to spend the weekend together. It wasn't like she was a secret. He had told all his family and friends about her.

He owned an organization and traveled the world constantly to tag and release sharks for research. You know how they say many sailors have a woman in every port? Well, he had a couple in every port for no-strings-attached sex.

She couldn't understand why he never came to see her (he was scared because he never had a relationship with a woman since he traveled all the time---but he had a heck of a lot of sex) and she was celibate during this time although she went on a few dates at first then stopped. She finds out at the second wedding where they are going to spend the weekend together that he had carried on with his man-whore ways. They never discussed monogamy but she was hoping he was not with other women. As he grew closer to her by phone/text/skype he decided he would not be with anyone else and would wait until they could be together. This was upsetting to her until she finds out he has been celibate for the past eleven months because of his feelings for her. I can't help that this bothered me. We didn't have to witness any of his hook-ups and he does have a very strong realization that his man-whore ways almost cost him the woman he was growing to love. It never happens again so I could somewhat justify it since they had not spoken about expectations etc.

I figured the eleven months of celibacy because of his own realization of his feeling for her earned him a measure of forgiveness.

I would definitely recommend this book as well as this series.

I was so excited to read that Lacy was coming back in this story. The last I read about her was at Kaylie and Danica's wedding. I read every book waiting for her to make another appearance and my luck finally changed and I got my wish.

Dane Braden is smokin' hot and an amazingly caring guy. We learn about his work with sharks through the Brave Foundation. His whole life revolves around teaching others about sharks and why they do the things they do. Enter Lacy Snow who has a fear of sharks ever since she was attacked by one when she was young. While they have an incredibly strong connection it may not be enough to be able to overcome their obstacles.

I really felt for the characters as they battled their feelings for each other and this issue with Dane's occupation. How awful must it be to love someone and hate what they do for a living. Hate being away from them for fear of something terrible happening.

Will Lacy and Dane be able to make it through this? You will have to read it to find out! This book is like the others and is able to be read as a stand alone book but this series is so so amazing so why in the world would you even do it?

Finally Lacy and Dane
Overall 4 out of 5 stars
Performance 3 out of 5 stars
Story 4 out of 5 stars

We met Lacy and Dane both in the last Snow sisters book (Sisters in White). We hear the ribbing of Dane from his sibling throughout some of the other Braden books, but now we get Dane and Lacy finally. These two went through a lot to get to there little piece of happiness. We get to see some of the good characters/couples from previous books in the Love In Bloom series. The Snow sisters and husbands and the Bradens with their significant others. This was delightful with that something extra. There was a feel of more intensity.

As I have said before B. J. Harrison is a good narrator but I would like to have more.

Okay, you all know how much I love the Braden brothers. Add Dane to that ever-growing list of book boyfriends. Shark tagger, lover, sex-god - that is Dane. Hot, sexy, tan and oh, so delicious.

I honestly don't know how Melissa Foster keeps up with all these sexy characters. Lucky Lacy Snow (Danica and Kaylie's sister) met Dane when Danica married Blake, but that was 15 long months ago. During that time they've kept up with one another via Skype and messaging, but when Treat and Max get married Dane and Lacy are thrown into facing their feelings and (wow) those are some strong feelings.

There is no lack of passion between Dane and Lacy. Sex on the beach, sex on a yacht, even a little sex in a bed or two. Dane and Lacy have a lot of passion. Melissa Foster has done it again. I loved this story of love from a distance, love thrown together, and the ever-challenging love. It's a whole-lotta love.

Poor Lacy is afraid of sharks, that is really the biggest issue between Lacy and Dane because he's a shark tagger. Is it something that can be overcome or will it be just too much for love to conquer? Melissa Foster does it again with this sexy romance story with a little angst. As with all of the Love in Bloom novels, this one is a happily ever after. If only we could all find a Dane. *swoon*

I love that each book in this series builds on the storyline and lives of the characters, but can, easily, be read as a standalone novel. Sea of Love reintroduces us to Dane Braden and Lacy Snow. Sparks flew when these two met at Lacy's sisters wedding and, of course, sparks flew. For over a year, the two have been keeping in touch regularly via Skype, steamy phone calls, and flirtatious text messages and emails - a modern day romance, right?

Now it would not be a true romance novel if there wasn't some drama, right? Dane's passion in life is protecting sharks and educating others on the vital role they have in nature. Lacy is terrified of sharks after an attack when she was younger left her scarred - physically and emotionally. The thought of Dane's career puts fear in heart and she does not believe she can fully give into a relationship with someone who searches out the very creatures she's mortified of.

Sea of Love is about facing our fears - not just for the sake of love, but for our personal growth and development. Are we content with letting our fears control us or are we willing to take control of our fears and overcome them?

Melissa Foster has written a great love story with characters that you cannot help but fall in love with and root along as they sail the sea of love!

I was very expectant when I began this book, and it met every one of my hopes. I don’t read romances, but I do read Melissa Foster. I love her writing and have been following her Braden brother series. I am excited to experience Lacy Snow and Dane Braden’s tumultuous fight for their love to prevail. This book, which is actually in The Bradens’ series, re-introduces us to Dane Braden, whose work is centered on one of Lacy’s greatest fears. She’s had anxiety and panic attacks her whole life after being attacked by a shark in her youth. Dane is a premier authority and shark tagger - owner of the Brave Foundation. Sharks are his life.

In addition, he risks his life for the work he loves regularly. Foster does an excellent job of taking these two characters through a lot of realistic situations to work out their love, dealing with everything from Lacy’s very real fears, to alcoholism and how real families deal with it when a loved ones job is dangerous.

In the end, this is a love story. Dane does a lot to show Lacy that his ultimate goal is loving her. One thing I liked about this book is that these two had a relationship that lasted for 15 months before the sex started. That was kinda cool. Oh yeah, there was sex. Hot sex. Don’t want to forget to say THAT!

Okay, here’s the thing. I do really love these books. I’m a sucker for cheesy romances. But there’s one that I’ve noticed - all of these men like their nipples played with? Which I guess is normal (I’m not one to kink shame, at ALL) I just wasn’t expecting to read about it frequently and in such great detail.

But other than that, great book! This one had a really good storyline, too.

I loved the Lacey Snow character in this book but I had a much harder time with Dane Braden the second oldest of the Braden siblings. No question Dane loves Lacy. Just not as much as he loves his job. Je's a good man. Like all the Bradens he's honest, caring, loyal and passionate about his work trying to change public opinion about sharks. My issue with Dane is that despite his love for Lacey he'd rather let her walk away than give up the dangerous part of his work to ease her concerns. And honestly the author never made it clear why actually getting in the water with sharks had to be a prerequisite to him doing his job. To tag them with a transmitter required him to haul them up towards the side of his boat and stick a tag in their fin. Also, it's clear he doesn't feel Lacy's career is nearly as important as his own. He even tries to dissuade his best friend and shark chasing buddy Rob from quitting even though Rob says his marriage is in jeopardy if he doesn't. He's just all about what Dane wants, what Dane needs. Well at least until the very end of the book.
Lacey Snow is the half-sister of Kaylee and Danica Snow. Danica is married to Dane's cousin Blake and Kaylie is married to Chaz, Treat's wife Max's boss and her BFF. Danica an ex-therapist and Kaylie play major secondary roles in this story. Of course the entire Braden clan also has their moments supporting both Dane and Lacey. In Lacey Ms. Foster has created a woman who is both beautiful, innocent, vulnerable and highly sexual. Right from their first time she doesn't seem to have any issued dealing the Dane's insanely large male member. She also has an extreme fear of sharks having been bitten by one when she was 7 years old. So she's hardly a great match for a guy who swims with sharks for a living. And she's worked hard to build her own career and isn't sure she wants to give it up to follow Dane around the world or settle for snatches of his time when his schedule allows. She also fears giving up her career and her heart to someone in such a risky profession. Just when it appears there's no hope for their relationship a few things happen to change both their opinions and thank God Lacey is able to get her well deserved promotion, keep her job and still live with Dane on his boat and travel around the world. Hey every decent romance novel contains no small bit of a fairy tale in it's H.E.A.

Right now in literature, I think the Braden brother have got to be my favorite men. Dane is the book boyfriend that I have been looking for to add to my list. He is everything you could want and more. He is the founder of the Brave Foundation, and is always somewhere studying and tagging sharks. He is a risk taker which makes him all the more appealing. With his life that he leads though he has never seen himself settling down, but when he met Lacy Snow at his cousin's wedding that all changed. Lacy and Dane have kept in touch ever since the wedding for fifteen months until they FINALLY get to meet up again at yet another wedding in the family for Treat on Cape Cod.

I loved being on the journey as Dane and Lacy explore their relationship more and prove to themselves that they are meant to be something. There are the daunting times that makes it seem like the relationship would be impossible, but I was happy to see them move passed those. One of the bigger issues was that Lacy was afraid of sharks, and with Dane tagging them for a living, it was something that they needed to work through together. Will they be able to make everything work for them to ultimately be together?

There is absolutely no lack of feelings between Dane and Lacy so you would think that this would be a no brainer from the start, but I really was truly happy that Melissa Foster made it so that there were onstacles to overcome. I like to read a good sap romance every once in a while where everything seems to fall in place perfectly, but that to me is not real life. I am glad that Melissa kept it real for the readers with Dance and Lacey's relationship and the troubles that they faced along the way. If you are shy about sex scenes, then cover your eyes, because Melissa has done it again in the steam department. Thanks so much for making us swoon once again in these novels, and I will be sad to see the series close after the next two books. Maybe more spinoffs in the future? Or perhaps I will just have to re-read!

Disclosure: I was given a copy of this book through Beck Valley Book Tours in exchange for my open and honest opinion. All thoughts are my own.

I want to be Melissa Foster's book tester- you know like the kitchen helper you get to taste the first batch of whatever is cooking? Yeah, I'd like to be the first to read whatever Foster whips up for writing. Really, I'm not sure how she'd go wrong really. With that being said, I will say book 4 in the Love in Bloom series - Sea of Love is wonderful!

Dane Braden and Lacy Snow met at a cousin's wedding in a previous book ( don't worry all books are stand alone , you will enjoy) After the wedding, Lacy and Dane have kept up in contact spend the next fifteen months - yeah 15!- keeping in touch . I love that it's made this way, in this day an age everyone is on the phone, computer and technology can bring two people together, well Foster made it happen! During these months they grow as close as possibly from a distance, really getting to know each other and feeling their way until they get to meet face to face again at another wedding. There's just no way to miss the passion between the two, it just grows stronger page to page.

Dane loves risks, tall dark and handsome along with risks, come on what's not to love? Who's to blame Lacy for falling for him ? Problem is, Dane's passion has him off studying the very thing that scares Lacy who is dealing with her own passion. Working hard to get promoted it only adds another challenge between the two. Can they work through the obstacles? Or will another fifteen long months separate the two- or worse , will it end things all together? You'll have to read it to find out.

Foster really kept this book true to life, the hardships, how they had to work at things . That's always important to me, people are changing from day to day experiences change you so when it's brought to words in a book it always grabs me. There's nothing lacking in this story from beginning to end Foster always deliveries!

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free for a Blog Tour in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. The first few chapters are set at Max and Treat's wedding and all I can say is man does Treat know how to throw a wedding. It was beautiful. I loved it and after hearing so much about the dress in Friendship on Fire it was excellent to finally picture Max in it.

Lacy Snow is a brave woman. She has a phobia like a huge phobia and she faces it. That is an achievement. I really liked Lacy. I thought she was a very sweet, clever girl and she had clearly fallen for Dane. Big time! It was obvious from the very first chapter how much she had fallen for him even if she didn't quite know it herself yet.

Kaylie and Danica were excellent sisters. They could have hated Lacy being their half sister and all, but they show nothing but love and concern for Lacy as well as a lot of support.

Dane  has what I am becoming to realise is the usual Braden traits loyal, kind, caring and sensitive. Oh and of course stupidly gorgeous. In friendship on fire we catch a slight glimpse of how much he likes Lacy but this multiplies a million times in this book. I really loved seeing the twists and turns in his relationships with Lacy, his best friend Rob and his family.

The Bradens are a loyal family. Once you are in the fold you are protected for life and I love that. I also love Hal's saying "Family knows no boundaries" it is especially true for this family. I can't wait to read Savannah and Hugh's stories in Bursting for Love and Hearts at Play.

This book was repetitive and dry. It felt a lot like a bad rehash of the earlier books in the series. A lot of this was because the characters felt flat, Dane wasn't too bad just a little boring. Lacy could easily have bee swapped for Danica or Kaylie or Max or Jade or Riley. All of them are basically the same person, overly dramatic bags of hot air without a single original thought in their heads who wear the same clothes right the way down to their underwear, just taking a thought here but does Melissa Foster really not know a single woman who does't wear a thong? They're basically cardboard cutouts who've been dressed up like the paper dolls you used to get, Lacy's outfit is her fear of sharks. This is not a dimension of her personality, it is her entire personality. You wanna go for a swim Lacy? I can't, I'm scared of sharks. How about the aquarium Lacy? I can't, I'm scared of sharks. Fall in love with me Lacy? I can't, I'm scared of sharks. Hey Lacy, how about a picnic in the middle of a dessert? I can't, I'm scared of sharks. You get the Picture. She irritated me above and beyond belief, and although I have the last two books in this series I'm really not sure if I'll be giving them a shot which is a shame because I still think that Danica's book was quite good.

What can I say? Another amazing audiobook!!!

I want more and more of every character because I love them that much. Every audiobook in this series has updates on previous characters which is why I love them so much.

Dane and Lacy are one of my favourites. Lacy is the half sister is Danica and Kaylie from the Snow Sisters and she and Dane met at the double wedding in Sisters in White. They reconnect in this audiobook at Treat and Max's wedding.

I cannot wait for Savannah and Jack's audiobook which will lead into the next series, The Remingtons.

The next Braden is about to fall - head over heels - for Lacey… 15 months after meeting for the first time, Dane and Lacey meet again at Treat / Max‘ wedding. What‘s been boiling between the two of them for so long, finally explodes. If only there wasn’t Lacey‘s desperate fear of sharks and Dane‘s work colliding. Will the two of them overcome their differences and get and stay together or will it tear them apart? Such a great story in the ongoing Love in bloom world. Fabulously narrated once again.

Sea of Love is the fourth book in The Bradens series (Love in Bloom Book #7) by Melissa Foster. The Love in Bloom series proved to be a heartwarming journey through love, family, and personal growth. Spanning multiple interconnected series/stories, it offers a wonderful blend of romance, humor, and emotional depth that kept me reading the whole way through.
Ms. Foster crafted fully developed, relatable, and multidimensional characters who added an extra element of emotion and interest to my overall reading experience. The heroes are fiercely loyal and endearing, while the heroines are smart, empowered, and refreshingly ‘real’. Each character feels like someone you could know in real life, making their struggles and triumphs, high and lows, all the more impactful.
The stories have a perfect balance of steamy romance mixed with heartfelt moments. But that doesn’t mean that Ms. Foster shies away from exploring deeper themes like forgiveness, self-discovery, and the complexities of relationships – adding dynamic layers to the storyline/s. But, despite the emotional depth, the series still maintains more of a lighthearted charm, sprinkled with humor and tender family connections.
While each novel can be read as a standalone, there is an interconnectedness with the recurring characters and overlapping storylines - which help create a sense of community that feels warm and inviting. Zwei Liebende und das Meer

Inhalt siehe Klappentext.

Content Note:
Panikattacke, Rückfall trockener Alkoholiker (Nebencharakter), Verlust

Meinung:

Sea of Love is part of the Love in Bloom series, and I was happy that I had listened to the previous books in the series, so I understood the relationships between all the characters. However, I easily could have followed the story on it's own. I love anything written by Melissa Foster, but I found Sea of Love to have more angst than previous books. If you enjoy a book with lots and push and pull between the hero and heroine, this definitely fits the bill. The couple in question are Lacy Snow and Dane Braden. Both are successful, career-driven, independent people, so learning to let someone else become important to them is challenging to say the least. Lacy feels especially vulnerable to Dane hurting her in the future, and Dane is completely unprepared for how much he has come to care for Lacy. I had all the emotions listening to their dance towards and away from each other, but I definitely ended the book feeling happiness and joy. For series readers, it is great fun to catch up with couples from previous books, and I can hardly wait to continue with the next Braden sibling's story. As with all of Foster's books, Sea of Love has the perfect balance of story and steam, so I recommend it and the entire series to all romance fans.

Although I prefer the dual narration for romance books, I must admit that BJ Harrison did an amazing job of handling both sides of the story. He used just enough change in tone for female versus male characters for me to know which character was speaking without making his delivery forced or overly dramatic. His performance was flawless, and he definitely added flavor to an already passionate and moving love story.

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for this honest review.

Sea of Love brings us the love story of shark researcher and founder of the Brave Foundation, Dane Braden and Lacy Snow, Danica and Kaylie’s younger half-sister.

Dane travels all over the world educating and protecting sharks. Happy in his life and not looking for a relationship or love, he meets and is immediately smitten with Lacy Snow when they meet at Danica’s and Kaylie;s destination wedding.

Lacy too feels the pull of attraction and heat between them and so begins a fifteen month “relationship” of sort. Dane and Lacy learn about each other through texts, emails, FaceTime and phone calls. Playful, often naughty, flirty and sensual, but never syncing their schedules to meet again until they both attend Max and Treat’s wedding.

Both wondering why they didn’t make the time before now, they embark on a passionate journey all their own, until the past and Lacy’s real fear of sharks and what caused it threaten their new found romance.

The ups and downs forces them to face their differences, their pasts and whether or not they can have a real future together as they navigate their own sea of love.

BJ Harrison has become a favorite narrator for me. His voice is hypnotic and brings life to Melissa’s characters, differentiating between them seamlessly.

Another 5 star listen!

Sea of Love is such a great love story! We get Lacy's story, which I have been looking forward to since we met her at the Snow Sisters wedding! She had met Dane there and now they have been having a virtual relationship of sorts for months. Finally when they get together, the sparks ignite, but it that enough to hold them together? After all, Lacy hates sharks, Has a real fear for a good reason, but Dane's work is with sharks. Can they be together and have this dichotomy? When I first started listening to this, I wanted to nudge Lacy. Get over yourself and be the person Dane needs. But then I really began to understand her and began to think a little about it. She is quite the woman, facing her fears. Dane is a Braden, so we know he is sweet and loving. But he does hold back a bit, and we need to know why. Melissa Foster once again has caught my attention and kept me engaged for another Braden love story. She is a master at weaving original themes, and adding in a realistic story line that is current and real. We get this with Rob and his wife, and it's a look at real love, consequences and adjustments. I love her books and look forward to her next adventure with this family!

BJ Harrison is the voice of the Braden boys and I love him. Each book a different voice for the main character and as we get to see others we know, he consistency keeps the voice from previous books. It's a fun, refreshing listen and I know when I start, I am in for a treat.

This story is Lacey Snow and Dane Braden. Really enjoyed the story itself from how it started, and we get to hear from a lot of the Braden’s and family friends. Then the story narrows towards Lacey and Dane. After a long time of texting, skype and calling – Lacey and Dane are finally in the same space and we’ll see if they can be more than friends. There was a lot that happened during their story – both good and bad and it was interesting to watch our couple to see how they would handle things. I always love when Hal is in the story because I know that he’s going to share his wisdom with Dane and of course us and we’ll see the situation differently and in turn fixing or correcting whatever the bump in the road is. Loved how after the conversation with Hal everything clicked for Dane and he knew what he wanted to do for him and Lacey. Great ending to the story. I listened to this story as an audiobook narrated once again by BJ Harrison. He continues to do a great job in his narration and considering from around chapter 26 through the end of the book a lot happened, and his narration didn’t falter, and he just drew you into the story more than you already were.

Another amazing book by Melissa Foster. This is the story of Dane Braden, founder of the Brave Foundation, a shark Conservatory, and Lacey Snow, one of the Snow Sisters from the original books that started the whole wonderful world of Love at Bloom.

Dane and Lacey have spent the last 15 months and burning up the phone lines, Skype and email since Lacey's sisters double wedding. Another wedding had brought Dane and Lacey back together so they could start down their path to forever love. But the road to forever love is never smooth, and they must face their own trials and tribulations along the way.

This book is a prime example of how Melissa Foster's mind has a phenomenal way of weaving together a world that is so lifelike and real that you feel like you could meet these people on the street.

Listening to Melissa's words brings a different and exciting feel to the story. My only suggestion is to be careful where you read "listen" because some of the scenes are a little steamy. Enjoy.

This author has a talent for creating characters & storylines that grab her readers’ hearts from the beginning & don’t let go. They become emotionally invested in the story & feel the same emotions the characters are going through. The compulsion to read the book from cover to cover is hard to resist since there isn’t a good stopping point until the end.

Dane & Lacy have been engaging in a long distance friendship ever sense Dane’s brother’s wedding. As their friendship has grown, their feelings have gotten stronger. Before they can find their happy ever after, they have a lot of details to resolve. After a childhood accident, Lacy is terrified of sharks. This wouldn’t be a big deal except Dane’s job is locating & tagging sharks. Another issue is Dane’s fear of being left behind. Since his mother died, Dane was careful not to get too involved. When his friend & coworker was injured, Dane pushed Lacy away. Will they figure out how to control their fears or will they let the feelings control them?
