About the author

Amy is an award-winning author and former TV producer who spends her days writing swoony love stories.

Her debut rom-com Sit, Stay, Love was chosen as one of Kobo’s best romances of 2023, and her follow up Love from Scratch was an Editor’s Pick in the 2024 Spotify Wrap.

She is a Romance Writers of America prize winner and the recipient of several other honours from national and international writing organisations.

Amy is in a longterm relationship with Disneyland. She loves to travel, adores anything Star Wars, and has a fierce and unwavering commitment to Hallmark Christmas movies.

When not busy toying with her character’s emotions, she’s probably hanging with her rescue dog Buffy, or lost in the pages of her latest favourite romance read.

There was so much sweet love in this anthology, where the theme was lollipops. As my friends know, I love lollipops, which made the love even tastier. Although I enjoyed every story, several stood out to me, including the loss of a lollipop due to a gorgeous runner whose teasing tantalised my tastebuds and a second chance romance with a sexy doctor who also happened to be the FMC’s former boyfriend. I also loved the stories with the twists - a speed dating story stood out for me here. I can’t wait to read more by the authors, and I went a little bit fan girl and followed lots of them on Instagram this morning. There are many great stories that I can thoroughly recommend.

Another book I collected at the RWA Conference 2023.
I'm hoping to put something into the 2024 edition - working on it!
Two years in a row I've bought and read the Sweet Treats anthology. And there are some very good stories in here.
The theme for 2023 is Lollipops. Use as you will :)
Also know, there is a Spicy Treats 2023 - sometimes too 'in your face' spicy for me.
Be warned. But if you like saucy romance, give it a go.
