Adrian Bancroft returned home, only to find out that his past love, Cathy is now a dancer working for drug lord Nanjo Jones. In his attempts to rescue her, Adrian not only find out a life changing secret, but puts his family at risk, as well. What started out as a dangerous situation, quickly became so much more.
Once again, Brenda Barrett gave her readers a great read. I have falling in love with this family and implore you to check them out, as well.
Although this particular book started off slow it was not a disappointment. It is a true testimony the love and God's unchanging hand. I must admit that once the plot thickened the paced picked up really fast and although I was holding my breath until the very end the book captured and kept my attention
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. This installment of the Bancrofts, introduced us to Adrian and the love of his life Catherine. This plot was fast paced. It was well written each individual’s personality and thoughts were clear. Brenda Barrett books holds my attention, she is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.
Readable novel but a little slow paced for my preference. It was good to see Kylie grow and develop but I found finding her true love a tad far stretched. Considering she was such a recluse to begin with.
So happy at the turn of events... Loved the storyline and the characters...it was truly amazing to see how God can turn things around when we least expect it ... Will definitely share this book with others
This kept me on pins and needles, especially toward the end. It was a great romance. Would recommend the read. I guess the final episode should the the finally of all the brothers and important characters. Brenda Barrett is definitely my new favorite writer.
Creative writing and theme. The romantic part was pleasantly accepted and was expected. The capture and time hidden was unexpected. The character, "Catherine " is given the time to draw closer to God. Amazing story!
Adrian Brancroff leaves Jamacia, and when he comes back, finds out his high school girlfriend is now a stripper and is involved with a dangerous drug lord. Inspiring read.
