Harper is an independent girl who’s never relied on anyone but herself. She does what she needs to get by and doesn't have time for friends let alone a boyfriend.

She’s determined to push people away, but there’s one person who’s eager to get to know her.

Tuck is a sexy bad boy who doesn't do relationships and makes no apologies for his own actions. He sets his eyes on the strong, independent Harper and will not take no for an answer.

Will Tuck be able to change his bad boy ways to show Harper who he really is? Does he want to or does he only want her as another notch on his bedpost?

Both Harper and Tuck have secrets that they’d rather hide and forget but secrets always have a way of coming out.

Will Tuck and Harper be able to deal with their personal demons or will it rip them further apart? Will everything Harper worked so hard for crumble to the ground or will she realize that needing you is all she has ever really needed?

Needing You

A Highly Recommended Read!

Ok y'all this is T.Renee Fikes debute novel and all I can say is WOW!!

I went into this not even reading the synopsis the book cover pulled me in. The first 18% I felt like ok what's happening here who is Harper going to fall for Tucker or Parker? Then, bam the story takes off. I couldn't stop at that point. I couldn't put it down.

T. Renee Fike evokes every emotion that you could feel throughout the story. There are parts when you feel like a love struck school girl, other parts you feel your heart breaking and tears filling your eyes.
The characters in this book were all developed so well that you truly fall in love with all of them. I absolutely adore and love Tucker Price. He is definitely book boyfriend material. He is gorgeous and loving and sure has his dark past and issues that make him an arrogant *** but he is still so freaking loveable.
Then there is the gorgeous Harper Lane. She is intelligent, beautiful and smart mouthed. She also is so innocent that she makes you smile and you feel every emotion that T. Renee writes. You feel your heart swell and break with every turn.
Oh but dont think its done there oh no I also fell in love with Parker and Natalie. Oh Parker is just delicious. He is a great friend and honorable man and such a support. Natalie oh she is so fun and also such a great friend. I cant wait to read Natalie story and to see where Harper and Tucker go from here.

Alright yall this book is awesome and I suggest you go and one click this one today. ..like NOW!

Just what I like to hear!!! If something is marked 18+, I have to at least check it out.....So of course I signed up for the blog tour immediately! There is something so fantastic about finding an author I have never read before that can write a book like this. Too often this type of book has me rolling my eyes at the constant back and forth.....this was NOTHING like that! :-)

But I digress! Needing You was a bit of a surprise for me. I was a little worried it would be the same old, same old. I'm really glad I was wrong. This book is definitely a slow burn type of book. Harper and Tucker really take their time learning about each other and even longer for any physical connection.

I really, really love that Tucker was the one pushing to reveal pieces of their pasts to each other. He was very insistent about being ready for each step in their relationship, and never took advantage of Harper when he probably could have so easily.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book! I found I had to stop myself from speed reading and force myself to go to sleep because I REALLY wanted to know what happened next. This book has a very satisfying conclusion and there are a few glimpses into Tucker’s POV that are fun and interesting. The only bad thing about that was that I found I wanted more of his POV! There were a few other scenes that I would have loved to get his take on, especially since the two are very quiet about any feelings or thoughts in the beginning…..

This was a coming of age novel that takes place during the freshman year of college for Harper and Tuck. Harper is the independent woman, traumatized by family events that occurred while she was in high school. She moves across the country as soon as she is 18 yr old and is determined to start life anew. She pays her own way, works hard in her college classes and her part time job in a bar. She meets bad boy, Tucker, and they begin a tenuous friendship. The story takes place over the spring semester of college and chronicles their friendship that turns into a romance. They slowly learn each other’s secrets as their relationship grows, allowing for healing and the ability to move on beyond their past scars. I like how the relationship was allowed to evolve. There was no insta love nor insta sex. The story was well written and the secondary characters were interesting (the epilogue indicated that there will be more books in this series with one of those characters. There were some passages in the book that seemed repetitious (I felt that the integrity of the story would have been the same if the book were a little shorter). Other than that, I really enjoyed this author’s work and look forward to more from her.

This book will take your breath away! I am always a fan of the girl with a troubled past but when both the girl and guy have troubling past it's a WHAMMY!! You meet Harper and you know there is something there. She is closed off from her family and has no friends. She leaves her hometown to start a new life you just don't know why. Then you meet Tucker and WOW!! He acts like this complete asshat! He uses women and doesn't think twice about it. But he too has a past. Harper starts school and finds a job at a local bar. She is determined not to let her past affect her future. Then she meets Tucker and she tries to keep away from him but he is always there. Tucker hasn't meet anyone like Harper before and can't seem to get enough. He wants to get to know Harper and wants to know what she is running from but they both know if they ask question they also have to answer question. This was a fabulous book mad I can't wait to read more from this author!!

4 What's gonna happen....I need to know more....STARS!!!

I enjoyed the ups and downs of this book from start to finish. T. Renee did a great job for her debut novel and I'm anxious to read more of her stories.

Harper is a young independent woman with the weight of the world on her shoulders. She's been through grief, loss, pain and is now ready to make it on her own.

Tuck is the hot as hell playboy....yum! He has everything and anything he wants on the outside, but on the inside hides his troubles from the past.

These two characters are doomed from the start. Harper is told to stay away from the bad boy and the bad boy wants her attention even more. Will they be able to make a truce and let love happen or will they fall their separate ways?? Read to find out more :)

This is definitely NOT your ordinary love story. This is my first read by Author T. Renee Fike, its about trust, acceptance,

love and overcoming terrible pasts. The 2 main characters both have had bad things happen in their pasts and together

they help each other. So seriously....go buy this now, you will not be disappointed at all.

I really enjoyed this story about Tuck (the bad boy that sleeps around but no one knows why) meeting Harper (the quiet and reserved loner girl that is broken in so many ways ). I love how they start off as friends and get to know each other well before they jump into the sex part of relationship. Being an abuse surivor myself, I love how Tucks stands by and supports her through everything with her parents. Good read!!

I really enjoyed this book I liked all the characters my only problem would be the heroine I felt like she cried herself to asleep every night I understand that something bad happened to her and she felt upset but it happened so often it kinda bothered me. Other than that great read with good characters looking forward to Natalie's book. :)

T. Renee Fike is a brand new author and her book was... FABULOUS!

I loved how the characters developed into a slow trust, both breaking down barriers. From dual points of view we could see into their world which helped deliver a stellar read.

I'm looking forward to more books by T. Renee Fike and recommend this read.

Its a cute story and worth the read. The wording is a little robotic, but it is still a good read. You can not put the story down until you know their secrets. The author keeps you in suspense.

Really good

I really liked the storyline. I did feel it dragged in places. The characters were interesting, but could've used a little more background or depth. Overall it's a good read.

Interesting storyline about a girl named Harper who picks up and moves after her high school graduation without telling her family where she's going. Points for her, she ends up enrolling in college and meets tucker who ends up being a positive role model in her life. As their relationship grows we figure out the back story behind Harpers disappearing act which, is completely understandable. Great romance story line however the book does need editing has a lot of repetition and tense issues. I wish there would have been more at the end between her and her family it seemed a bit rushed. This book does hit on a few sensitive issues, just FYI.

I liked it... ok. This is a classical : a dammaged girl + a hot playboy = an impossible love story.
I usually like this kind of story.
I think what I disliked was the author's writing. No style. The way the story was told was sometimes boring.
Though I will give a chance to the second book in this series. Let's hope it gets better!

3.5 star read. It was a good storyline and had a lot of emotions going on. I have read several of this authors newer books and I can see a huge improvement in her writing. This book kind of felt like someone was just basically writing all their thoughts both externally and internally and not their true emotions. I did enjoy it and will read Natalie and Parker's story.
