Jamie joutuu tutkimaan kouluesitelmäänsä varten muiden kulttuurien käytöstapoja. Voiko turhempaa kuvitella? Kaikki muuttuu, kun koulun ruokalaa saapuu valvomaan komea ja täydellinen Sebastian. Maksaisiko kuitenkin vaivan viilata hieman omia käytöstapojaan? Jopa aina yhtä ärhäkkä Isabel alkaa laittaa hiuksiaan ja laukoa opettajille kohteliaisuuksia. Mitä ihmettä tapahtuu?

I have read every one of these books. :) As soon as I saw this at a bookstore, I instantly got it, without thinking. So glad I did. These books are hilarious, and while they may be more of an "exaggeration" of middle-school life, there are still some things that people can relate to. These books never fail to make me laugh out loud.

I was not actually planning on reading this book, but it was spectacular. I wouldn't normally add this, but it was extremely well put in a 4th grade perspective. It was funny, well written, and I recommend this for all ages. :)

Dear Dumb Diary keeps it rockin with plenty of ideas out the wazoo that make the story of Jamie Kelly (13 and still in middle school) work. But...only TWO PAGES of lovable Stinker! WHAAAAAT? WTH are you guys thinking!!! Well, now that THAT'S out of my system, let's begin: Jamie truly needs to find it in herself to be nice, even if she does tend to suffer the bogus ideation that kindness is human weakness to be avoided at all costs. But then....Sebastian! The new substitute cafeteria monitor. Handsome, rugged, and at least college age, a 20-something version of Patrick Swayze. And Jamie likes him whether or not she admits the fact. But Angeline, the Loni Anderson of Mackerel Middle, has once again turned on the blondishness charm to stun Sebastian into stuttering foolishicity, and Jamie and buddy Isabella into silence! Isabella wants payback, Jamie wants Sebastian (why? the girl is 13! What is she, Lolita or something? Young teacher the subject of schoolgirl fantasy, etc.?) and Stinker wants to be in this series more often, the way WE DEMAND IT!!! Will Jamie open up to life's possibilities more? Are we to see Stinker LESS? Hope so and HOPE NOT!!! Looking forward to the next exciting episode in the Dear Dumb Diary Saga!

This book is about a middle school girl (Just like me), Jamie, going through her years and learning new things. In this book, her friends, Angeline, Pinsetti, Hudson, and Isabella all are grouped up with partners for a project. While doing this project, Jamie realizes that all her friends are changing, but she was changing as well.
I really liked his book and it was fun to read. It was a little short, but its still very funny and entertaining. I would recommend this book to people who like funny books.

These types of books are funny and good. But what I liked about the Dear Dumb Diaries book is that Jamie actually draws the picture so we understand. Also, if there is joke in writing and you do not understand it, the picture can help you understand the joke and laugh your pants off (:. I think that Dork Diaries fans would be interested in reading this book because it is basically the same thing but not in a way (sounded stupid but I know what I am talking about)

Just as funny and enjoyable as the previous books in the series. Jim Benton does a good job walking that line between keeping the characters consistent and being so consistent that it's all predictable. The characters grow and change enough to keep them from being parodies.

Really funny and (shockingly!!!) it also has some redeeming social value. Plus, do to one of her nefarious plans in which she decides to present a new image, Isabella is not 100% scary. An entertaining addition to the series.

As popular as the diary style is right now, I will not be recommending this book to my fourth-graders. I got tired of the potty humor, and although there are some amends made by the end, I did not appreciate the treatment of the main character towards her "friends".

Yes, I'm too old for this. Yes, I enjoy silly books like these. Yes, I partially only read it because of the wreck City of Heavenly Fire left me at. Yes, I'll probably read more of these kid's diary books. And yes, I don't care.

I really just read this book for three reasons; its purple, humor and because it doesn't have many pages and when I got this book I didn't really read much or even like reading much (I know crazy, right?) so this was a perfect amount of pages in a book for me.

I decided to pick up some light reading for my 2 1/2 day weekend (MLK holiday). I'd read the first year of the Dear Dumb Diaries, thought I'd pick up some of Year Two.

Still fun, still silly, and yet, still some of the better stuff I've found in Children's fiction.

Awesome

Awesome because it has real feelings and emotions when you get to one part in the story you change emotions constantly and that's awesome.
I would recommend this book to you because it's so amazing. And that's why I would recommend this book.

Just as funny as usual. I am endlessly pleased with how hilarious all of these books are; also, for once, Jamie seems to be growing up a little! Woohoo!
