Lilliana Anderson what you do to me!! I am absolutely blessed to beta read for Lilliana so I had the pleasure of seeing A Beautiful Rock before the rest of the world, and I've got to say Lilliana really did have her work cut out for her.
After finishing A Beautiful Melody I've got to say that I wanted to punch Marcus in his sanctimonious face, he behaved like a spoilt brat, I get it for one he wasn't used to being told no, and two his pride was hurt, but that's not love, no matter which way you want to try and spin it.
Marcus starts off in A Beautiful Rock very much the same way he was in ABM, a man whore, leading a very shallow and empty albeit rich and famous existence. It seems that this life may no longer hold the same appeal it once did. Enter Lisa, determined, strong, leading a very simple life, on the surface atleast, both Marcus and Lisa have secrets, have moments in their past that have had a major impact on their lives today.
For me, Marcus was near unredeemable, but that's the beauty of Lilliana's writing, she has an uncanny ability to rewrite her characters past transgressions, to change your opinion on someone from disgust to awe.
Lilliana you never cease to amaze me, you weave your tales in such a way that from the first page to the last line I can't put them down.

I love the Beautiful Series by Lilliana Anderson!! Each of the books have a HEA! Each a story in their own. This is the story of Marcus, Theos brother from A Beautiful Melody where Marcus caused such a major scene at the last concert he performed with Matiari because Naomi chose Theo over him.
Marcus has been on the road now on tour with his new Indie band,for two years. He wished to be famous and well-known...so his wish has come true. The video that went viral of his last concert singing "Weighted" aiming it toward Naomi since she chose her love to Theo over him. Marcus thought he loved Naomi but all in all it was a challenge since he knew Theo loved her. His life was always a challenge to Theo. What Theo did he did it and did it better. What Theo wanted he wanted and he got it! Marcus returns back home after being gone and has an unwanted visit with Naomi. She says things to him to make him think twice about his life and he doesnt like what he sees in himself. He has a different women on his arm in every picutre taken of him and he just has to snap his fingers and he has whatever women he wants for the night.He used to have friends, he used to have family and he thought he was in love, once. All he has now is leeches and a staff that are paid to keep him happy. He doesnt even love himself. Hes sick of seeing his face everywhere he goes and sick of the groupies following him around. Hell hes even sick of his own voice. But all of this is about to change for him and he doesnt even see it coming. Marcus wants normalcy.
Lisa Russell is an independent little spitfire. She is happy with her day to day job and her dog Perry.(named after Perry Mason for his abilites of snooping) She doesnt want to be noticed and has one friend,Sandra, that she still doesnt tell all her secrets too. Sandra asks her to do her favor to interview Marcus for her since she was one of his many one weekend stands. Lisa agrees too so Sandra doesnt have to face him again. As Lisa puts it to Sandra.. "Not taking away from your sexual prowess or anything, but if hes a famous musician its probably more likely that all of the women he sleeps with are just one big blurry face with a pussy." Lisa does the interview not knowing who Marcus is.
Marcus finds Lisa to be attractive. She doesnt know who he is or anything about him. Or does she? He wants to be Lisa's friend and she doesnt want this. Lisa has a past shes running from and wants to keep anyone and everyone at a distance. Being friend with Marcus could possibly bring back her past. And Marcus is is gonna be her friend no matter what he has to do. He has found someone he wants to keep in his life. Someone that doesnt want anything from him.
What is Lisa running from? Will Marcus ever be a friend to her? Will Lisa stop running and confide in Marcus? Do they have a chance at love?
I gave this 5 stars. I loved the story and its so very well written!! Who doesnt love Rockstars? I do. They're hot! And Marcus is Hot!

OMG If you haven't read this series you don't know what you are missing! This is a true romance story where heart aches leads to two people finding what they never thought they would have. After having there heart ache open for public scrutiny. Marcus is the ultimate Bad Boy Rock God who has a flock of women around the globe waiting for him to look their way. But after a while he realizes that, is this really what he wants? Loneliness i snot what he signed up for and that is exactly what he got. Fame and nothing else.
Lisa has been in the spot light for most of her life and after being hurt and then lashing out, the public retaliated and made her hide away changing her name to be anonymous.
But when you soul find the other half nothing can or will be as magical as having them combine as one.
Beautiful in exactly the perfect name for this series. Lilliana has created a series that just captivates you with every word and chapter. Beautiful honest characters that grab you and hold you attention. They suffer and you suffer right along with them. I don't think there is one book in this series that has not taken hold of my heart and kept begging for more. But Beautiful Rock has made me fall not only for the New Book Boyfriend that Marcus has become. But I fell for Lisa, a strong woman that knows her heart and shows that she can be strong without a man. A woman that despite her problems with the media and her family and ultimately the men in her life can rise above and be independent, even though is pains her to do so. In short she crated a woman I can admire who against all odds gets her HEA. A Beautiful love story... They Rocked my world!

Rock follows on with Marcus’s life after his split with Matiari, and his ‘betrayal’ from Theo and Naomi. While Marcus seems to have it all - fame, fortune, women...... he feels like the loneliest person in the world. That is, until Lisa does her friend a favour. Lisa hides her own darkness though and wants no connection to the fame and fortune merry go round. Marcus has his work cut out to convince her that they are meant to be together, and Lisa throws a massive curve ball that could end it all. A spellbinding read and fantastic fourth book in the series. Also loved the additional story on Theo and Naomi at the end.

I love that the title of the series if called Beautiful. Each and every one of this books have a beautiful storyline attached to it. They may not start out so beautiful and pleasant but it sure ends that way. Marcus and Lisa's story started as a good friendship that blossomed into something more.
We met the infamous spoiled brat, Marcus Bailey, in a Beautiful Melody and the way he acted in that book I wasnt sure I wanted to hear his story. However, I was curiious to see who was capable of turning his world upside down and inside out. That someone was Lisa Russell. She was the first chick to not throw herself at him, nor did she even want to be in his presence but that didnt stop Marcus from chasing her down. Lisa was a force to be reckon with and was a perfect match for Marcus. She didnt fall for his stupid lines or tricks to get into the panties. She made him put in work to get her time, and goodies. She was a witty little character and I loved her inner monologue. Being in her head was unlike the others leading ladie in the beautiful series. Lisa had somewhat of a sense of humor, especially when she talked about her ex-boyfriend. I am a huge fan of alternating POVs in a book but in this case, I could have read the entire book in just Lisa's POV.
The reason I took away half a star is because of what happens towards the end of the book. Regardless, the ending was sweet and I am anxious to read more about Naomi and Theo.

OK so we met Marcus in a beautiful melody.. I loved him but he turned out to be a A$$.. I do understand why.. He had his heart broken by 2 of the people he loved most.. So what does he do...? He lashes out and takes off..
2 Yrs later.. Here is Marcu.. Living his dream..(or so he thinks).. He has a interview he is supposed to do.. when he lands his eyes of this beautiful woman who looks totally out of place..
Lisa is a very beautiful young woman who is just trying to live the simple life.. See she has some very dark secrets she is trying to hide. Lisa's BFF and journilist Sanrda is supposed to be the one who interviews Marcus but she does not want to because see she slept with him.. she is embarrised.. nervious.. what if he remembers her.. or what if he doesent.. So she talks Lisa into doing it for her..
Lisa shows at the Interview looking for this Marcus guy.. She goes to these guys asking where she can find him.. (little does she know she is talking to him) hehe..

She doesn't even want to be his friend, which makes him want to be her friend even more. Marcus finds where she lives and insinuates himself into her dog’s good graces and her life.
Lisa and Marcus start to fall for each other, but Lisa doesn't want to be anywhere near the limelight that being a rock star’s girlfriend might attract. Lisa has a past that she wants kept hidden. When that past comes out, an interesting turn of events ensues.
Lilliana is a fabulous writer. Her characters come to life from the page and weave their way into your heart. She does a fantastic job of redeeming a previously obnoxious Marcus. Lisa’s character is sassy and independent, yet vulnerable.
I read this book in a few hours it was that awesome. If you haven’t read any of the Beautiful Series, you are missing out. Start with A Beautiful Struggle, it’s currently free.

A Beautiful Rock is a great read!! It's the forth book in the Beautiful series. It can be read as a stand alone or in order. I have gathered from the story that Marcus played a part in A Beautiful Melody (Beautiful #3). I have not read any of the other books in the series. I was not lost when reading it.
I loved Marcus and Lisa. I loved how Marcus and Lisa meet, that was one of the best meeting I have read.
When reading we know that Lisa is keeping stuff from her past secret from everyone. Marcus' past is not hidden and easily found by goggling his name. Lisa is hesitant to start anything with Marcus because she doesn't want to be in the limelight. The past finally catches up with them. I won't tell you want happens, you'll have to read it to find out but you won't be disappointed.
It has no cliffhanger. It is a great read.

It was rushed,which was good because Marcus didn't deserve a book and in this book he was the same,he basically stalk her and was forceful and, I absolutely dislike that, Lisa was a wonderful character i wish she could have gotten with a different character like maybe someone from matiari. I hope a beautiful star isnt about Jonatha,n i was really hoping for a beautiful reunion coming up but i guess we have to wait on that..

A good addition to the series, I was glad to see the follow-up since it was so emotional in the last story. This one had it all and for those of us following the series I am sure we can agree, it was a great read and for those of you out of the loop come on catch up you won't regret the ride.. As soon as I started this book, I finished! This book captivated me and loved every minute of it. I was dying to find out about Marcus. You could tell in 'A Beautiful Melody' that there was more to Marcus. His girlfriend Lisa Russell, lets say the lime light was a sore point and gave Marcus 'whiplash'!!!!!! Lilliana you have stopped me from all house duties but well worth it!!!

Loved it
I really loved and enjoyed reading this one, even more than the one before. Couldn't put it down, that's how good it was. Loved the story of Lisa and Marcus, loved their romance. Just to see how she made him a better man and finally made him see what real love is :-) really such a great read. Fun, hot and emotional. Worth the read.

It was ok. It started as FSOG and then moved on to a kind of typical rock star book. I liked how the character developed and were able to grwo up. The time span was kimd of difficult to follow, but it was ok.

WTH!!!! I loved this book. I am so happy I got to read of Marcus and that he found love. I enjoyed reading the beautiful series and now to Sandra. Can't wait!!!! Lilliana you are amazing, keep them coming!!
