This was a book of DIY projects that you can put together using duct tape. From shoes to wallets to hammocks, it gave some interesting ideas that look they'd be fun to try.

To those who reuse and recycle, or who need to repair a beloved piece, this book gives some great ideas too.
Absolutely hysterical: the Duct Tape Hammock. Even if you read this review but do not own the book, you can probably envision, what it looks like. This example also illustrates why I think this is a cool book; It makes us think how we could simply create or repair something. In the this age of prefabricated solutions and "buy, buy, buy" pitches that is amazing. This book is packed with creativity.
Sidenote: It appears that the authors were in a real hurry to share their ideas with the world, the book could have benefitted from some proof reading. While for me that does not take away anything from its content, teenagers might get the wrong impression.

I picked this up for free, and didn't realize it was put together from Instructables. Anybody who does DIY projects is aware of this site, one I don't really frequent because the vast majority of the projects posted there are poor quality, with even poorer instructions and photography.They put out several others, different titles and subjects, all are equally horrible in quality.
This "book" is simply a compliation of projects from the site, which includes frequent advertising for the website. The directions are complete with typos, nothing is edited and the projects shown are those only suitable for children.

With the exception of one or two, all of these projects seemed way, way too complex and way, way impractical (despite the title). The instructions were photographed step-by-step and the write-ups seemed helpful, but I can't see myself making a duct tape sweatshirt (although I'm impressed someone has).

This book is for the hardcore fan of duct tape.
The instructions are very detailed and full of accompanying photos which is always valuable in my opinion.
Rating it a 3 because its just not what I was looking for but its a 5 star book for its attention to detail and creativeness. Some of the projects don't even look like they were made from duct tape!

Great little book of projects you can make with duct tape, including boots, hoodie and my favorite, a hammock. That put me in mind of a big from long ago where you used 6 pack rings to make a hammock. Great resource for crafters and do-it-yourselfers.

I thought this book would be good for entertainment - look what I did with duct tape! However, since it was a series of internet instructables, the writing was really spotty, and there were too many "I can't explain this, so look at the pictures" moments. Not as useful as I hoped.

it is pretty neat i would reccomend it for creative people and my favorite project would be the duct tape water bottle

I sorta didn't like it because it was using not everyday items
it was a suggestion though
