I was honored to receive this book for feedback and then again after first edit for an ARC.
Two damaged people, unable to see past their own pain to take comfort in their attraction for each other. But the sex is too hot to handle, and in spite of themselves, they find they can't stay away from each other.
This is an intense exploration of the pain of addiction, of betrayal, and of the walls we build around ourselves to avoid more hurt. The author has a deft hand at emotional connection, both the reader's with the character and the characters' with each other. Claire and Sebastian may be destined to be together, and we want them to give in to it so badly, but danger lurks around every corner, from the people who harmed our protagonists in the past to the shadowy figure that seems intent on harming Claire now. This first novel, the first in a trilogy, shows raw talent. Can't wait for the second book!

not rating this fully because I was asked by the author to read through it for feedback on the plot, the characters, and the storyline.
I will say once this book is 100% and out for sale, you definitely will want to meet Claire and Sebastian. They are an awesome couple of characters :)

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. So here it goes. I loved this book. It's got humor, passion, wit, sexiness, and an element of danger that is lurking. I enjoyed Claire so much. She comes off as quiet and reserve but she is cleverly witty. I love her sassy comments to Sebastian. Sebastian is the rich playboy with his share of demons. I really liked their work dynamic. I liked how Claire thinks she is insecure but she is really so strong, she just doesn't know it. I was trying to figure out if Sebastian was a Dom but he's not. It was a product of things that happened to him. It doesn't diminish his sex drive to say that though. Please don't be mistaken the man is definitely gifted in that area. It may sound stupid but these characters were very REAL. The sex was passionate, their issues where honest, and the love they find in each other is genuine. I'm eager to find out what happens next. So please don't keep me waiting.....too long (hint hint).

Mary, luved this book! The characters were great....Sebastian King is hot, with some demons he's fighting in his past being hurt by an ex, he is an only one night stand type of guy .Claire Collins comes into the picture and starts changing Sebastian's feelings about having a relationship...only Claire has had a crazy past from an ex too,she will not allow herself to get hurt by another man....two broken people trying to learn how to feel luved...lots of hot sex...can't wait to read the next book! Thank you Mary ......I LUV all the hot guys

Story of Claire a depressed author suffering from writer's block and Sebastian, CEO of an ad agency.
This was so poorly written that it was hard to get past the first 6 chapters without wanting to run from my kindle screaming. Incorrect word choice, typos, grammar issues abound in this book. There was nothing special about either of these characters or the plot.
While I understand the author is not a native speaker of English, merely putting a disclaimer at the end of the book does not forgive the mistakes.
