This is my first read by this author... I did enjoy the writing style... This book had a nice pace to it... There was a nice build up of events and drew me in little by little... There was a few things that I had a problem with... One was that there was a mix up of Character also to kept flipping between first and third person... Then some things felt a little out of the flow... but overall I did enjoy the storyline...
Saige is a young, smart, beautiful woman... She is 24 and she is still a Virgin... She has found herself in a very unique situation... She does not have a boyfriend per say but there is a man taking very good care of her... She just has to be available to him when he needs her... They don't have sex and this to him makes her priceless... But they have an understanding on what they have going on... She has a good job and can take care of herself... But would not be able to afford the house that he has her in... She loves her family... Especially her little sister Moon and her little brother Ramel... These two are her life...
Carmine is the man that Saige has her situation with... He travels a lot because he is a tech guy... Or so he says... But he absolutely is infatuated with Saige... He is so in love with her he is kind of possessive... But she does not see that side of him... He is always so loving, caring and giving to her... But we quickly see the real Carmine come out once he get to his real home that is not with Saige...
Quadir is a very handsome young man... He is a pediatric surgeon... He is very good at what he does... but as for his personal life... He is not ready for any type of relationship or to settle down... He uses women for what he needs and keeps it moving... But a special case with a child that he has to so surgery on... Changes his life around quickly...
Things are going good for Saige until she get the call that her little brother is in the hospital... This is where things in her life began to shake up... She sees this handsome doctor that has kind of peeked her intrest... But she will not act on it as she has no time for any man... She has her situation and it works for her and she does not want to shake things up... But as life would have it... She is not in control of what was meant to be...
Carmine starts to lose control over things little by little... He is having issues with one of his brothers and this is now causing problems with Saige... And now that one of Carmine's biggest secrets is out... He has to work overtime to try and keep Saige... He can't lose her because of this... He has to have her... She is his peace... But things are starting to go from bad to worse for him... Now he has to show Saige a side of him that he never wanted her to see... Little did he know that this would be what crushes what little hope he had left with Saige...
Quadir and Saige are kind of drawn to each other... But they both have walls up... And there are a few obstacles in the way... But with the help of Saige's sister Moon... She tries to help... Let me start by saying I think the virgin worship is weird but it’s in the title so I knew what I was getting into. Now let’s talk about the book Quadir was a pediatric surgeon who had to perform brain surgery on Saige’s brother but also in his free time he works for the Santorini (or something like that) mob. Saige also has a situationship with one of the members who is obsessed with her in an unhealthy way. He finds out she is galavanting with Quadir and flips his lid. But get this y’all he MARRIED. But he be going upside his wife’s head so we do not like him. Chile anyways he calls himself putting Saige in her place and she wearing sunglasses in the middle of target. Quadir like oh not on my watch and immediately wants to protect Saige and he moves her into his house and they build from there. Something about that close proximity that’ll do it everytime. This book was a decent enough read, it was faced paced like I prefer the drama was there sometimes things seemed out of place though if that makes sense. I enjoyed it though 3.5 stars

Just Okay
I've read better works from this author. Thus one was just okay. The action was okay but it lacked the build up for Q and Saige relationship. Okay they found each other attractive...., then what. Yes, dates, but I didn't get the passion that's usually there with her main characters. Also, the Sartori Mafia didn't sound too much like mafia. If Carmine truly came from a TRUE mafia family, then why did he speak with the vernacular of a hood guy. Don't want to say the N-word. Carmine spoke like one of my boys from around the way. I kept reading to see how it would end, but.....it missed the mark for me.

Don’t think twice just read
This man was a doctor by day and a thug by night. I didn’t like how Saige ain’t know her sugar daddy was married. I was like girl be for real. She really thought a man that put her in a house and gave her an allowance but she only saw him when he came into town wasn’t married; girl you sound slow and naive. I’m glad her and Qua got together and he felt the need to protect her although he kind of rejected her at first. I’m glad he taught her how to shoot and she got her first kill defending herself. I couldn’t put this book down.

Good Girl Gone Bad
I read a few of this authors more recent books and liked them, so I decided to backtrack to some of her older ones. This storyline was decent with a little of everything to hold my interest, and Q and Saige were both likeable characters. Yet, something still seemed off, and it was noticeable how much this author has grown in her craft based on her more recent books. Overall though, it was a quick read that held my interest and the epilouge gave us a cute peek back into their lives.

I enjoyed this story, I loved that saige was a doctor and she wasn’t a bird head, she definitely was native dealing wit her sugar daddy. I loved her relationship with her father and siblings . Her mom and step mom could go eat rotten eggs lol I am gonna spoil anything considering Mr, grim and his partner in crime you have to read this book lol definitely will read more books by Shari B 😁

Paging Doctor Grim
Enjoyed this book tremendously. It wouldn't be great to me if I didn't want to know more about the characters. I'd love Winston's backstory so we could understand the lack of maternal relationship Saige and Moon and their mom . I'd love Nicole's backstory and more about what cause the demise of the Italian Mafia . Shari B definitely has me intrigued and Quadir definitely has my attention.

I can’t believe sagies sugar daddy is that crazy over her but I’m so glade she found love in doctor Q and they have gotten married had a beautiful babygirl and a son on the way just wonderful so glade that little melly had the surgery so that he can’t stop having seizures glade he’s doing well… moon said it from the jump that her sister was pregnant.. leavi is something else glade he found someone I really enjoyed this book I want more

Great
Saige was indeed someone rare and Carmen knew that, but once his secret was revealed Saige started to pull away but unfortunately that brought his true side out. Happy Victoria got wise and left him before she ended up dead. Quadir was a man of many hats and once he came in contact with Saige all that ice he had built up around his heart started to melt away thus allowing something the both of them needed but just didn't know they did. Great read.

This was such a good book. It had the right amount of drama and some spice. Saige was a good girl that turned savage at the end and I loved it. Now the good doctor Quadir/Grim was that man not to play with. He fell for Saige quick and didn't play about her. He was willing to lay any and everybody out about her and he did just that. Saige's sister Moon was an interesting character and I feel she needs a story too. I enjoyed this story and I wanted more from them.

Really smooth story. It definitely had it's moments that made you go umm🤔🤔. Like the whole Sugar Baby thing but u think it gave this character. Qua was not playing about Saige and that was before anything went down between them. I think that's the best part for me though!!!

I really really enjoyed this, two people living double lives. Carmine was crazy he was pure evil. Glad he got what he deserved. This book touches on domestic violence, murder, jealousy, hatred. Saige and Moon's mom had serious issues in the way she treated them. Sex scenes were 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Kudos to the author👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Loved!!!
I loved this standalone so much! It was well put together and easy to follow. I loved the growth the characters made along the way. I enjoyed the different messages in the book too! Healing is necessary and I found myself praying for these characters like they were real! That’s how you know the book is good! This was my first read by this author but will not be my last!

Saige and quadir
You never know a person story I love that Saige was her own person and made boundaries carmine was crazy asf lol but qua and Levi wasn't to be played with I love moon lol moon wasn't scared at all and you can tell she was a wild card this was a great book qua most definitely got what he wanted in the end and that was Saige

Ride or Die
Saige became Q’s ride or die. I really don’t blame her though cause Q was that dude. He stepped in and protected Saige when he didn’t have to. Real man vibes and they don’t make them like that anymore. I’m glad Levi settled down even though we didn’t read a lot about his and Jackie’s love story. Moon was funny and wise beyond her years. Good standalone Ms. Shari.

Great love story!
I love how Saige and Quadir gravitated towards each other. He really did save her. Carmine wanted his cake and eat it too. I'm glad Quadir came along when he did. Even Levi found love with Jackie.

I gave this a 3.5 because it seems at times that Saige was gullible af! no real backbone and the whole Virgin thing but was giving top with no problem🙄 was kinda ehhh. But all in all it was a cute quick little love story
