Father Figure
Dahlia Rose

Ethan Tremaine felt like he was sucker punched from the grave when his grandfather’s will was read. Find a wife and have a baby within a year. If not, he will lose his inheritance. Being known as a playboy in the media meant he could pick any model or starlet he wanted, but any woman wasn’t an option. The right person to love was what he needed and looked for. He wanted what his parents had before his mother passed and his father married his bitchy stepmother. When his assistant Mya Spencer walked in and quit because she was pregnant and wanted to start her own business, Ethan saw the perfect opportunity to have his cake and eat it too. He always had a thing for the sexy, serious woman who guarded his office doors like a mamma lion. Being with her and raising her baby as his own seemed like the perfect solution to his problem. Building a relationship was one thing. Doing it in the public eye was different. Between his reputation and the cameras, there was his stepmother and the baby’s father all trying to ruin what he and Mya were building. They wanted money, and all he wanted was a family. Would his playboy persona cause him to los the woman he loved?

Forgot I Owned This

I forgot I bought this year's ago. At the time I most likely purchased it for the Tressie Lockwood story, but lately I've become a huge Dahlia Rose fan, and I found I liked her story more. Even though these stories are sold together both stories can be read separately.

I loved that Ethan is so willing to raise another man's child as his own, it made a sweet story and a nice romance. I just wish their love was a little more believable.

I enjoyed both stories but thought Kenzie and Easton's story was better and they had more chemistry.

Ethan and Easton Tremaine...Loved their story and getting to know the women these twins fell in love with.

Ethan and Mya...Mya was the personal assistant to Ethan but when she finds herself pregnant, she sets out to start her own business so she can be there for her child. When Ethan's grandfather passes away, the old man stipulates that in order for him to get his inheritance, he must marry and father a child. Well Ethan is no closer to marrying or fathering a child so quickly. But Mya is pregnant (and he has been secretly in love with her) so what better way to get have a ready made family but first he has to convince Mya to go along with it. Then there is a her best friend Robin ( who is loyal and funny as the dickens) those two together are thick as thieves) which means where Mya goes, Robin goes so Ethan has to factor in that lol!

Ethan was a man who didn't care that she was pregnant by another man (No Spoilers) he loved her baby as if they conceived it together and that made me love Ethan all the more. Ok so I can't comment any further without telling the story so I will stop here.

Easton and Kenzie...Lawd he was so incorrigible but so darn hot lol!! Kenzie meets Easton (from his grandfather), grandfather asked Kenzie to help find Easton a wife and what ensues is hilarity, honesty, sexiness and straight dom erotica. Easton had me looking for him in the real world lol!! Easton was not convinced about love, all he wanted was to find a woman who would be suitable for him so that his part in the will can be fulfilled. Love was not on the table but Kenzie sure was and as she went out to help him, he was falling for her and didn't even realize it. You see Easton was used to being in complete control in every aspect of his life but falling for Kenzie left him out of control, for her and no other woman would do.

Easton was totally insatiable when it came down to Kenzie and those scenes with the both of them almost short circuited my Kindle. So I am now on the hunt for my very own Easton Tremaine *rubbing my hands together with great glee* Again I will need to stop here (No Spoilers).

Ah yes there is an evil step mother Lurlene who you can't wait to get your hands on her (and I do mean literally).

Well until my next review Ciao Bellas!

ETHAN AND EASTON

FATHER FIGURE (ETHAN'S STORY) - 4 STARS

I enjoyed reading this one. Ethan and Mya were great together. Their sexual chemistry was off the charts! The sex was hot enough to burn the letters permanently into my iPod screen. I won't go into details since it was just a short story. I might end up telling you the whole book. And although it was just a short story, the storyline wasn't rushed. I was surprised about Ethan's character. I wasn't expecting that. Gosh. Sweet, protective, compassionate, sexy as hell, and hot. He was damn perfect for me! I want someone like him for myself. Mya was so lucky! They were perfect for each other.

THESE WORDS (EASTON'S STORY) - 4 STARS

*swoon* Easton! Can I have you to myself? Easton was a perfect alpha-male hero. Ethan was hot and sexy, but damn! Easton was hotter and sexier! The chemistry and sexual tension and the actual sex scenes were off the charts - scorching hot!!! I loved both Easton and Kenzie. They were perfect for each other. They balance each other. I also enjoyed the witty dialogues between the main characters.

I loved everything about this book. Ethan and Mya as well as Easton and Kenzie were such awesome characters/couples. You really become emotionally invested in them so that you can't possibly stop reading until you've found out what's going to happen with them.

Highly recommended for those who are looking for a quick, fun, sweet and hot read to curl up with during your break.

There are 2 books in this tome regarding a pair of twins with the same objective, marry and father a child within a year and live as a family man: FATHER FIGURE by Dahlia Rose is a 4.25 star read. I liked the story of Ethan Tremaine and May Spencer and how he and she had a two year history and each had amorous feelings for the other. I like how they eventually came together as a couple and married and how he accepted her unborn child as his own. THESE WORDS by Tressie Lockwood is a 3.75 star read. I found Kenzie Bridges to be tiresome. The Grandfather in his will suggested Easton Tremaine consult her help in finding a woman to marry. He offered to marry her, she found that to be too cavalier and refused-she wanted love. I was okay with that, but she sleeps with him, enters into a sexual arrangement with him, gets pregnant, doesn't tell, and continues with the 'let me help you find a wife even though i'm madly in love with you'. I don't get the not telling men they are to be fathers and at the same time denying children the right to know who the other parent is.

4.5 stars. Truly enjoy Easton and Ethan story. How one is more dominant than the other. Even though Ethan was my favorite, the way he open his heart and soul, beautiful. But however, Easton, dayum, Alpha MF-In Male, "Sweet Baby Jesus" let's just say that I was speechless on the erotic sexual dominance he portray. I was mesmerize on his commands and how he he appreciated the body of a woman. I was also tongue-tied,and I am Bilingual Dammit, lol. I want one of them, lol. Bravo, and Kudos to both the authors, which are some of my fav. Keep them coming.

I enjoyed this story. I didn't expect Ethan to be who he turned out to be which was a welcomed surprise. Ethan and Mya had great chemistry, and I liked the flow of this book. The storyline didn't fell rushed and covered all basis.

Loved this story from beginning to end. Easton and Kenzie...OMG fire!! These two were off the charts. Their little cat and mouse game was super cute. I knew sooner or later they would see the light, but reading about them finding their way was a treat.

This story pulled me in like crazy, the cool thing is you get two for one. Ethan's story was so sweet and loving and Easton's was just as sweet. Really heart warming.
