****I received this book from the Author in exchange of an honest review**** Wow, As always Ms Wild captivates me with her writing, Im going to be totally honest and say I hadn't read the previous books in the series so had to go back and read them as I started from last to first. I have to say this book was so compelling and it had a thriller side to it, so it was a good spin i was reading on the edge of my chair!, however I should have not made it into a single book but perhaps a part of the 3rd one or a long Epilogue of the 3rd book, but I'm only saying this as I felt I wanted to keep reading more, so it felt like a very short story I just basically didn't want it to end=(. Loved the characters, great chemistry, great bdsm scenes. Thank you again for the opportunity to read this Clarissa.
Mmmm this was gooooooddd She is such a baddie ALSO FUCK THIS DAISY BITCH THAT FUCKING TRICKED HER AND THEN HER MAN SHOT DOMINIC LIKE WTF Alg tho because good smut andddd THEY GOT ENGAGED AT THE END!! Love some books like this sometimes
I was given the opportunity to read/review this box set by the author:
I found these books very enticing to read, they were un put down-able, and for me that is a good sign, I will enjoy the series.
They contained quite a lot of BDSM and for me they were very similar to the ''Fifty Shades of Grey Series'', so if that is your thing you will enjoy these.
We meet Julie and Dominic, Julie is an author wanna be who strives to achieve but unfortunately does not make much progress, then she is given this opportunity to become Dominic's sub and she latches on with full force and finds that her writing streak has benefited for the extra curriculum she is learning, and her books take shape and become complete, all anonymous of course.
Dominic has inherited a hotel/casino from his father and it is any but a nightmare, he puts up a big front that he is very well to do and very successful but behind the scenes there is a lot going on that only those in know hear about.
We get to see their relationship grow until they form a bond that no one can break and once that happens and the public find out about their relationship, events that shape that end up making a drama for both of them and only their love for one another will keep them strong throughout.
There are not really any other characters in these book to speak of apart from the main two, people come and go but the sole focus is on them.
All books are very short reads, 1 hour tops for each.
Book 4 and final in the The Billionaire's Bet. We find Julie and Dom have gone their physical ways but emotionally they are torn apart. An encounter together and finally Dom comes clean and confesses everything to Julie. FINALLY! A true Dom I think would have told her the truth earlier and would not have put his sub at risk. Julie you should have ran when you had the chance. However, sometimes the heart doesn’t know any better. With all the secrets reveled and Dom in danger, Julie takes matters into her own hands and ends this series with epic (and unexpected) finale. Very explosive from the sex to the conclusion, and yes…a very satisfying ending.
I was giving the box set of The Billionaire's Bet by the author to review. I feel in all fairness that each book deserves to be reviewed as well.
I was provided a copy of the book by the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review in any way and the opinions of this review are all mine.
This book was so good. I was not happy with Julie, she changed her mind so fast even though she had originally said one thing now she was saying something else but I guess in the long run distance made the heart grow fonder so this didn't last very long and for that I was pleased. I was so happy when Julie admitted how she felt and made a promise to Dom. I love how Clarissa writes her sex scenes, the scenes in this book were so hot and sexy, just fantastic. I can't believe what those crazy people did to Dom, wow, that was quite the emotional scene. I really enjoyed reading Julie taking charge in this situation for a change, but wow did we get quite the surprise, Daisy is more then we thought. I liked the action and drama in this book, it made it more interesting and not just another girl meets millionaire hot sex book. I love the surprise he had for her, it was the perfect ending to a good series.
This is the last part of The Billionaire's bet, after Julie was kidnapped and returns back home she leaves Dom for a week to get her mind back in order. But even a weeks seperation can't get Dom out of her mind.
Since the house is not safe anymore they chance location to live, but even then the killers find them and at the end Dom's getting shot. Julie finds out who the killers are and goes confronting them to get the confession on tape with the back-up from the police.
What she didn't know was that the woman Sharon who kidnapped her was also Dom's ex-girlfriend and she wanted revence and her Dom wanted his money back.
Will this end all their trouble and will they have their happy ever after?
Julie has learned about a new way of life and found love with Dominic. Through learning about each other they have become happy with their lives except for the looming threat of the drug ring that had gone after Julie to get to Dom. Now comes the time where Julie has to decide if her love for Dom is worth all the risk. All the clues as to who is behind everything are brought together in this conclusion to the series.
Loved every sexy scene and the mystery involved in the story. Great mini series.
★★★ The Billionaire's Bet: A Final Game by Clarissa Wild (The Billionaire's Bet Series book 4)
I was given this R2R in exchange for my honest opinion.
This one was bad, but bit it just didn't do it for me. I just couldn't see Dominic as a true Dom, he lost some of his credibility for me.
This was very predictable to me. I can not believe Dominic would not have picked up anything. And I truly see no reason for Sharon, I find her to be rather worthless.
I did like his hide-a-home. I prefer it over his actual home.
What a GREAT ending! Julie takes time to be by her self to think about things but misses Dominic dearly. He shows up and heats her up a bit. She then puts her life in danger to save her man. Wonderful job Mrs. Clarissa Wild Love this!!! Thank you =)
I thought this was an explosive and sexy as hell conclusion to this series. Each book gives us a deeper glance into our characters and their growing feelings for one another. Once again, Clarissa Wild has delivered an enticing and erotic series.
Such a good series!! Dom wasn't that bad :) need more of them though, they got engaged so early but I guess if you find the right person time doesn't matter!
