Three heartwarming stories of love and family that all end happily at Christmas. A Christmas proposal, a Christmas wedding, and a Christmas birth!
The Army Doctor's Baby
After his wife betrayed him, Major Radley Knight dedicated himself to becoming the best Army doctor he could be, dedicated himself to saving soldiers' lives. When he returns on leave from Afghanistan he is ready for a break. Instead he finds himself helping a young mother and her newborn baby. He falls in love with Olivia and her sweet baby boy and longs to spend the rest of his life caring for them. But Olivia and her baby belong to Radley's brother.
The Army Doctor's Wedding
Major Cameron Knight thrives on the danger of front-line battlefield medicine. Throwing himself into saving the lives of injured servicemen keeps the demons from his past away. When he rescues charity worker, Alice Conway, and a tiny newborn baby, he longs for a second chance to do the right thing, even if it means marrying a woman he barely knows so they can take the orphan baby to England for surgery. The brave, beautiful young woman and the orphan baby steal his heart. He wants to make the marriage real, but being married to an army officer who's stationed overseas might do her more harm than good.
The Army Doctor's Christmas Baby
After he loses his wife, army surgeon Colonel Sean Fabian protects his damaged heart by cutting women out of his life. He dedicates himself to his career and being a great dad to his twin babies. When he asks army nurse Kelly Grace to play nanny to his children over Christmas, he realizes how much he misses having a beautiful woman in his life and in his arms. Caring for Sean's adorable twin babies is Kelly's dream come true. She falls in love with the sweet little girls and their daddy, but she's hiding a devastating event from the past. If she can't trust Sean with her secret, how can she ever expect him to trust her with his bruised heart?

2.5 Meh Stars. I was looking for some mindless holiday reading and that's what I got. The characters are OK, the insta-love thing gets old, and the stories are ho-hum. It's not bad, there's just nothing here that makes anything stand out. I teach. It's the end of the semester and I couldn't get into anything that required any effort on my part, but I did need something to read and relax. Check.
Loved the stories, but for books supposedly set in Britain why do we have to have American names for objects? if I'd had to read about one more diaper being changed I think I'd have screamed the place down. I know the author is American, but come on over here we call them nappies!
This box set was a wonderfully happy break from reality. All three story's are fast paced and heartwarming and will leave you with a smile. These books remind me of the oldie, but goodie Harlequin books my mom used to get in her books of the month club when I was a kid. Growing up, I loved to read and couldn't wait until she finished those books and deemed them- appropriate for my eyes!
The series is available as three separate books, or as a box set. They could be read as stand alone books, as each book has its own hero/heroine, and although some of the stories from book to book are intermingled the author does an excellent job of introducing other characters and their backstories well from book to book.
If I had to choose my favorite book of the three it would be The Army Doctor's Christmas Baby. Don't get me wrong- all three of these Army Doctor's are great, but Sean was the one that in my eyes would inspire love at first sight!
I hope that you pick up this series and enjoy them it as much as I did. ONLY 57 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS- so turn on some background holiday music, curl up in your favorite comfy chair with a glass of wine, or hot cocoa and enjoy this feel good series and get in the Christmas spirit! I give the series 4.5 Stars!
What a fun collection to read on a quiet (ok...baby was napping, so it was a quiet few hours) afternoon. I loved how the secondary characters become the main characters as the books go on, and as the stories progressed, we got to see where the main characters were from Book to Book, which is one of my favorite parts of reading a series.
I have to say, Books One and Three were my favorites, Radley was so stinkin cute with a baby as was Sean, and I had a great connection to Olivia and Kelly, not that I didn't enjoy Cam and Alice, they were a fun read as well.
This was my first romance from Helen Scott Taylor, but certainly not my last. If you are looking for a Sweet Holiday Collection, grab this one up!!
British Army Doctors make this collection a little different. Three sweet romances with two brothers and a very good friend finding love around the holidays.
None of the three are really conventional stories and the doctors have some challenges, since at least two of them are combat specialists and are working in Afghanistan.
They manage to meet terrific women, though, who can speak and think for themselves (one of them is a combat veteran, too), and they have faced serious problems of their own. I like these stories and apparently Taylor has written at least 4 or 5 more!
The first story was weak. Pretty much nothing happened. 3 of 5 Stars
The Second was best of them all.Lots of action, twists and love. 4 of 5 Stars
The Third made me wonder why it exists although the main story was finished the book before and confirmed my decision not to continue reading the stories. 2 of 5 Stars
Light reading centered around Christmas, this trilogy was not quite enough to totally captivate me, but it was not boring. I loved the closeness of the family, and I always love happy endings. When you throw in a cute baby or two, it makes a good read. I'd have liked a little more drama, but overall it was a pretty fair read.
Touching, sweet, but never boring "love conquers all" stories. I loved the emphasis on appreciating our military personnel. And who doesn't enjoy stories about babies?
3 well written romance Christmas stories. A Little bit of controversy in one of the stories was unacceptable behavior. But in real life can hurt a child emotionally
A great collection of a cheerful and heart warming family and friends trilogy. With the setting around Christmas, the books definitely bring you good cheer.
