Ms. Griffin wrote an enticing teaser of her upcoming book Secrets and Sins. This prequel has enough mystery and intrigue to create a desire to know what happened in the lives of the characters.

Get the prequel (it's FREE) and you will know what I mean. Can't wait to read Secrets and Sins!

Bettye Griffin always intrigues with her books. Just the title makes you want to read on. This is a short prequel and sets the stage for Secrets and Sins. You can read Secrets and Sins without reading the prequel, but you will miss out on the background that is so needed.

Short story but very insightful, set in the 1950's when life was different. World Was II was just ending causing problems for African Americans if they looked the wrong way. Have things changed or not as we enter the 21st century.
