Great sequel to Walk A Straight Line! This book is very well written and will not leave you disappointed. Michelle put everything she had into this one. You will have lots of oooh & aaah moments, along with feelings anger, disappointment, joy and happiness. This is a story about reconciliation, restoration and proof that with God NOTHING is impossible! Can't wait for the release of the follow up novel, I'm anxious to see how Keith, Gina and Michael are doing :)

This series has captured my full attention. To see how God's plan always works for our good even when we are underserving...wow. Michelle takes care to show the depths of emotions with each character. This series is a thought provoking good read.

Wow, what a rollercoaster of a ride. Every time I thought I had maxed out of emotion, here comes another blow. Rice builds a story to crescendo and then allows you to simmer in the fallout. I found out this was book two in a series but felt like I didn't miss anything by not reading book one. I'm hooked though, I'll be reading books one and three next. Michael, Keith and Gina were in a complicated situation. Their story pulls on all of your reserves: spiritual, emotional, and physical. I am sure parts of this story is someone's reality.

Story of an estranged family who needs God to heal.

This book is about the power of love - God's love, family love, and about the romantic love between a man and a woman, - the true romantic love that people are lucky to find once in a lifetime if ever, the type of love that can send you soaring on waves of ecstasy or crashing to the ground in horrible, unrelenting pain. This book will make you pray, laugh, smile, highlight passages, read references in your bible, and if you're like me, gasp and cry. It is said that God uses cracked pots or people who are very visibly less than perfect like this author's characters, because people can identify with them, and thus they are most likely to win converts for Christ. The author shows us that God will forgive our mistakes and human frailties and protect us if we come to him with open hearts and minds. Most of the characters in this book learn this lesson after trying to bear their tremendous burdens on their own and failing miserably. I loved the new characters and all of the twists and turns in this second book in the Walk by Faith series. I hated to see this book end. It's going to be hard to wait until 2015 for the next book in the series!

I really enjoy "My Steps are ordered" by Michelle!! I cannot wait to read the third book to see if Michael will give his life to the God after getting into a situation which nobody can help him but God. I do recommend "My Steps are Ordered" to other readers! Your past will surely catch up with you but God will forgive you as well as helping you to forgive others then give you the strength to get through. To answer the question why do God allow our children to become sick and some even die; most of our test and trials are not just about us but about those around us witnessing a miracle of deliverance. My son at the age of 7 years old and my youngest daughter at the age of 8 years old both died at the same time by the hands of a suspect fleeing the police in Washington DC. Was I angry with God? No, but I was devastated and very hurt not understanding the will of God at that time for my life. Just let me say that the Lord turned my tragedy into triumph. Big Kudos to Michelle.....Love it!

In this second part to Walk A Straight Line, Gina has married Michael but his brother Keith and Gina are still in love with each other, and can't fight it. Michael finds out his children are not his, but his brother's. He vows to pay Gina and Keith back for what they have done. Keith is now a minister and Michael will force Keith to be part of an interview where his transgressions with Gina will be bared for all the world to see. When Gina's son Trey almost dies from leukemia, Michael finds Gina's father, whom she has never met. He is a match for Trey and all is well. Michael is not finished with Gina and Keith and tries to take the children from Gina. God has a way of turning a mess into a message, and in the end, Keith and Gina prevail.

Having previously read Walk a Straight Line by this author, I eagerly awaited the sequel and it did not disappoint! Author Michelle Lindo-Rice has woven a continued tale of twists and turns;it truly was heartwarming, and spoke to my heart. It isn't your run of the mill "everything was perfect, and they lived happily ever after" type of book. It's about love, life lessons, and you find yourself relating to the characters. You will laugh, cry, and fuss at the characters; they're very well developed, and the plot is easy to follow. I can't wait to read the next book in this series, and will definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a read that leaves a mark.

Just when you think forgiveness is beyond the hands of God, think again! A beautiful story of love, betrayal, and forgiveness! The Ward brothers are in for a roller coaster ride...they have NEVER envisioned this! God has an uncanny way to show you that there is still so much more growing in each of our spiritual journey! Hats off to Michelle Lindo-Rice. A very beautiful story! I have grown attached to these characters...I cannot hardly wait to dive into The Prodigal Son❤️

Amazing Story

I read the first book in this series and was immediately drawn in. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the ending of the first book but I couldn't wait to read the second installment. It did not disappoint. I read the book in one day! I enjoyed the characters as well as the storyline. The book shows God's awesome grace and mercy even when we don't always follow or do what's right. I can say I was very happy with the ending of this book. Well done.

I really enjoyed this novel. Keith was in bad situation loving a woman that seemingly was not available but stranger things have happened. Michael was so hurt he let it fester and destroyed relationships along the way. Gina should have prayed before marriage, then a lot of what happened could have been avoided but God still extended grace and mercy and in the end it all worked out. Very good story of the forgiveness of Christ. I look forward to the next novel in this series!

Yes, it's a blessing to know that God hears and answers prayers. We all should ask him to order our steps. This book shows man in everyday life with all our flaws. Then when reality steps in and let us know we are nothing without our LORD and savior Jesus Christ, he puts us in check. Great job Michelle. I'm starting The Fall of The Prodigal.

Torn

While this is a very good book I could only give it 3 stars only because it didn't end the way I wanted! Several times I wanted to STOP READING but I couldn't, swore that I wouldn't read anything else by this author then found myself searching for the sequel. I probably won't read it right away as my emotions are still raw from this wonderful creation.

Love always win

Captivating from page one. Contains christian principles without being preachy. The storyline drew you in and kept you wanting more. I recommend this to bookclubs and all readers. The discussion questions make you think about what you would do if in the same situation.

My Steps Are Ordered

Very good story. After reading the first book, I see Michael has gone from a decent guy to a very evil person. God prevails with happy endings for Gina, Keith and the children.

This book was ok. I felt like it was unrealistic. Keith ends up with everything he ever wanted? How often does that happen in real life, especially after making a big mistake like committing adultery with one's sister in law? Also, for an Urban Christian book, the plot is unbiblical. I understand that adultery was the major plot point for this book, but it seems as if it were highlighted and that Keith did not really suffer as a result of his actions. I also think that the book could have stopped at a certain point but dragged on towards the end for the sake of drama.

I have read a lot of series but I realized what makes this series special for me was feeling the spirit move through the pages! I cried, laughed and wondered how I myself would handle the situation between Michael, Keith and Gina. Then there are the children. Can't wait to tie up this series in book 3!

Awesome story. This is the continuation of the saga between Gina, Michael and his brother Keith Ward. Both brothers loved Gina and while Gina may have loved them both, she was PASSIONATELY IN LOVE with Keith. After Michael's diabolical skim to expose his brother and wife, God stepped in and changed the outcomes. Truly a ministry in this novel.

His Brother s Wife

Story was weaved very well. My three rating is because I have personal biases on Keith being with his brothers wife. I wished she had never married Michael because she was unable to reconcile her true love and adoration for his brother. This story just caused rifts in the family.

Disappointed that I didn't realize this is a sequel but that was totally my fault. I also realize I've read this before, but it didn't disappoint me! I'm already starting the third book in this series, The Fall of the Prodigal. This author definitely does an excellent job building her characters. At one moment you are upset with Gina and Keith. The next you'll find yourself pissed with Michael! Throughout the drama, you still learn a lesson about God's love and how He comforts us.
