This is an excellent book that explains the importance of emotionally processing distressing past events and old traumas, and what happens when you don’t. The author breaks the process down step by step. This may be the last self help book you will ever need! After having said that, I just ordered the author’s other two books.

This book was rather disappointing. I had high expectations and it didn't live up to the title. Very blant and flat. I have gained nothing from this book. Difficult to read at times as it keeps refering to the British culture, and although I understand most of the points the writer is making, I find it a bit too much for book that states that it's for emotional processing.
