Now, it's Luna's turn…

Gabriel Slade has returned to take his rightful place as Captain of The General's army. Luna stayed behind to nurse a broken heart and a precious secret that could mean the end of all mankind.

Humans possessed by the spirits of the dead are searching the earth for a child that will have the power to bring the apocalypse upon the world. Gabriel must find this child if he hopes to keep order and peace with the humans, but his heart keeps getting in the way. He must save the world from darkness, while making the one decision that could cost him everything.

Gabe once thought that roaming the earth as a hideous, angry beast was his curse. Now, without the love of his life he feels more helpless than before.

After falling in LOVE with the first bookie in the series I knew I had to read the second book there were no if, ands, or buts about it. Just like the first bookie Beast Anew is action packed and it was an emotional read for me as for those of you who have read Beast Within know what happened in the ending. Luna that girl is so strong I would totally be a damn wreck, and she has sass when there's a situation that requires it, "Uncaring?.... I lost my best friend and my love. You think I'm being uncaring? I want this for them! I want this to happen. This is going to happen because we can rally and because we are strong. Do you understand? Nothing is going to keep us down. Filming will resume tomorrow morning. Make sure everyone is here." Dang woman is on a mission. Michael this time around wanted to punch him in the face UGH he p***ed me off so many times, especially when a certain situation arises! I felt well I'm not sure how to describe my feeling while Gabe and Luna weren't together but I was most happy when they were, I was jumping for joy yelling at the book "YOU GO GIRL!" Yeah total dork I know but hey I can't help it. Luna I'm serious that girl can put a smile on your face in ANY situation, "There's only one trick I want to see right now and it's 'how to make your d*** disappear'. I can show you, if you want." Gabe there's just something about him that when he walks into a room he like practically DEMANDS the attention well okay not demands, but he sure knows how to take it over, especially when he says "patience little one." Yeah out of the whole book fave line right there. Well okay there was another line I loved "you bring out the animal in me" sounds kinky right? I thought so too! Well if there is another bookie in the series GREAT but if not I think the ending was good!

If you loved Beast Within, the first book in The Beasty Series, you will love this strong second installment in the series even more.
The story pick's back up with Luna, after Gabriel has left and she discovers she's pregnant with his son.

She has taken over his film company in his absence and has no idea where he has gone or what he is doing.

Meanwhile Gabe is leading troops against Cethin's evil horde of posssessed humans and things are ramping up as Cethin's evil plans grow in this story.

I love that this story digs deeper into all the characters from the first book. Luna becomes cursed similar to how Gabe was cursed, but the reasons why don't reveal themselves right away. Elmo has now become their son, Slade's, gaurdian angel and those two together make my heart melt.

Ms. Kemp built a solid foundation in Beast Within and Beast Anew continues to build upon it as stakes are raised, huge sacrifices are made and Luna and Gabe find themselves facing off with Cethin once more.

Cannot wait until the next in this series!

Sooooo much happened

The ending was almost rushed especially with how everything else was so minutely plotter. I didn’t really understand some things and motivations but it was a great sequel to a terrific first book

Series is great!

This was so unusual... refreshing. It takes an interesting take on God’s angels and human relationships. Totally a stretch but fun.

DNF

I couldn't finish it. I could not stand Luna. I just couldn't finish it after she was blaming Gabe for her turning into a wolf.

*I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review*

What an incredible follow up novel to Beast Within! I didn't think it could get any better that Beast Within, but with all things that Tyffani Clark Kemp touches, this is golden!

After Luna Grace helped Gabe with his 'curse', he leaves her to re-join the 'Army'. Luna is heartbroken and then finds out, that by being with Gabe, she has turned into a beast herself. Their love maintains although they are apart. What a wonderful love story! No matter what they have to face, they will face it together. There is so much that I want to say about this, but I am afraid of telling spoilers. I hate spoilers and let me tell you, this is a MUST READ for all. You will not be disappointed in this follow up.

Congrats to Tyffani Clark Kemp with another hit!

Oh this was a wonderful conclusion to a great two party story. Gabe is trying to save the humans and keep them from an all out war but at the same time his heart is hurting and he is struggling with the fact that the love he thought he would never find as a beast is what he wants more than anything. The love he could lose for being so rigid and hard as he tries to find the right thing to do. Pursue his love or save humankind.

Luna has a deep dark secret she is hiding and keeping to herself.I just absolutely love her character she tries to stay so strong and to not fall apart. But in reality her heart is breaking for what she has lost with Gabe.

I am an extremely big fan of this Author I've read several of her other books and she never lets you down she is an amazing Author and I cant wait for her next book.

This was a wonderful ending to a very interesting story! This is one of the most unique retellings of beauty and the beast I've read. Meshing the angels into it was a big surprise and worked fantastically. Easily one of the most compelling stories I've read on beauty and the beast in a while!
