As an elementary book, it serves the purpose of structuring a formal writing style. I don't know what elementary/primary school kids are expected to do with this though? It's nice, but even for me it feels a little too cumbersome, particularly the capital letters.
Too many of them are standalone, jarring aesthetically are difficult to flow into the following common letters. I have been out of school longer than I have been in school and a fair artist as well and found the capitals difficult with both left and right hands. Whereas the writing lowercase was composing words with mostly single unbroken lines for each word barring dotting i's and crossing t's and x's.
I did appreciate the book as is and will use it as a reference to I revise my writing style.
