I know it's probably some unforgiveable transgression on my part to not like my own father's book...but it read like a police report (he was a cop, after all). What could have been a riveting account of his third marriage to a woman afflicted with multiple personality disorder just seemed to lack the suspense and passion of a knife-wielding psychological thriller. It almost tempted me to help him re-write it. The limited experience I had with the situation was enough for me, though. Sorry, dad.
