100 mph action!

Another excellent story from the pen of Conrad Jones. This time we had extreme right wing militias battling it out with Somali drug gangs. The action was non stop with many twists and turns. Nothing is what it seems with this author and, once again, this was a very enjoyable read. Well recommended!

The fourth book in the Liverpool Thriller Series. The 18th Brigade are back in action in this book. They’ve moved on somewhat since their early days - and are heading towards legitimacy with the emphasis on offering army style protection on an international level. But when a series of revenge attacks take place, they are suspects. Meanwhile a Somali led gang try and oust the 18th Bridge from the Manchester area with devastating consequences.

An enthralling book after a slower start.

As usual this author never disappoints. His stories are fast paced and gripping. The characters are always well drawn and act as you would expect but there is always a small and tantalizing glimpse into their private lives which makes them human.

18th brigade

Fast paced and gripping. When Terry the leader of the Warrington based brigade is challenged on giving up a tiny percent of the companies income is something he is unsure to either roll over and let it go or fight for it.
A loose canon is out to get revenge for an Iraq tour or is it a set up from the leader...

Another good story from Conrad Jones

A fairly short, but violent story, that builds up to bring all the characters together for a nail biting ending.

Another great read from Conrad. I really enjoyed the book, but then again I always do. I feel like I know everyone involved in the story and I think that’s the way it should be.

What can I say, just brilliant, non-stop action that is frightening, especially when you think it is probably happening every day.

Action adventure with lots of death and detailed violence, with a few malapropisms. I was uncomfortable with the tone of some of the narrative.
