A short romantic novella, about two enemy hunters attracted to each other. Although fighting the attraction, a bush fire causes them to stay in each other's presence, thus strengthening the bond. A feisty story, very entertaining.
I love this & I can't wait for more. I will be also leaving a review on Goodreads @ Amazon. And letting everyone know about it. So i gave it a 5 Stars.
I received an ARC from the author and have chosen to review it. This is a short story that takes place between Warrior and Enchanter the second and third book in the series. This short story is about one of the side characters you meet in one of the previous books. I really enjoyed reading this story it was such a short easy read that I finished it in one setting. You see some of the characters from the other books but it doesn’t pick up right where we left off so you could read this one out of order and it wouldn’t be confusing. I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read more by this author.
*I received a copy of this from the author in exchange for an honest review. :)
I am loving this series so much, so when I heard about this little novella featuring one of Dralion's main warriors, I jumped on the chance to read it early! It was a nice little tie-over until the third book in Joanne Wadsworth's Magio-Earth series, Enchanter, is released in May 2014.
Hunter was an adorable novella featuring some of the characters we've come to love and a new couple who realizes that they'd rather fight for the soul-bond they have with each other than let it go because they're enemies.
The main character, Lieska, is one of Dralion's warriors who lives on the station in Australia. She's one of Hope's best friends, and she's a hunter who's senses have caught onto one of Peacio's protectors. What she finds out is that he's her soul-bound mate, and she'll have to decide whether or not to release him from their bond.
But Cole won't give up that easily. He's a hunter too, a guy who likes danger and challenges, dares and a pretty warrior who makes him feel protective. He follows her to the station, not ready to give up on their soul-bond. After all, Hope and Silas, and Faith and Davio have been able to hide their relationships a secret and stay together. Cole and Lieska are both warriors who don't back down from a little danger. When Cole stays and helps Lieska and her friends battle against the brushfires to save their livestock, Lieska decides that she can't let him go. As long as they have each other, they'll figure it out.
I loved the humorous and sweet relationship between Cole and Lieska. Although a short novella, I still felt like I could connect with the characters, and I loved seeing Hope and Silas again. This series has quickly become a favorite, and I can't wait to see what happens with the rest of the characters! Can their soul-bonds with each other bring their two countries peace? :)
I am soo thankful that Joanne contacted me in the beginning asking if I wanted to review "Warrior", and I am sooo glad that I jumped at the opportunity, because If this is the stuff I'm reading then...HELL YEAH!
I want to thank Joanne for giving me an ARC copy of this book to read and review!
As you may know, this is a short novella and I finished within an hour! Yes I was THAT excited to read it!
Lieska Alura, a Dralion warrior from the planet Magio is the protector to Hope, If you've read Warrior & Protector, then you will know of her and her twin, Faith!
For some reason Lieska is drawn into the enemy training ground....something is pulling her......reeling her in?
What could this possibly be?
Cole Cyrano is a Peacian hunter and Protector. Ignoring the alluring call of his mate, he is taking his frustrations out on in the training ground, when low and behold a stunning Lieska walks up, challenging him.
Sparks fly, swords are clashed, love is found and the enemy lies waiting in the background!
Another great read from Joanne. I can't wait for the next FULL instalment in this series "Enchanter"
Filled with loads of steam worthy moments, Hunter is exciting; unforgettable and charming. Hunter is a must read for those who love this series as much as I do. Once the hunter sets their sight on the hunt, nothing can get in their way...even the call of a soul-bound mate. Here we have another Peacian vs. Dralion love story. Fierce and captivating, Joanne Wadsworth creates action packed scenes adding, of course, possible fatal situations to keep the heart pumping until the end. Hunter can be read as a standalone, but will be more fun to read as part of this addicting series...one of my favorite couples make an appearance as well! Below is a list of each book in order.
Protector (Magio-Earth, #1) Warrior (Magio-Earth, #2) Hunter (Magio-Earth, #2.5?) and coming soon this next year is Enchanter (Magio-Earth, #3)
When Lieska and Cole meet in a mock battle. These two Hunters quickly discover they are mates. The bond they have formed is strong. How can this be when they are enemies? I liked both Lieska and Cole. Their attraction is tender and caring and their banter is playful. I could tell that they were meant to be together. This story is well written and gives us a glimpse of the Magio-Earth series. After reading Hunter, I plan to get the other books. I'm curious and want to know more. Joanne Wadsworth is an excellent author who drew me in with her story line and well written characters.
A stand-alone novella that fits into Joanne Wadworth’s Magio-Earth series, Hunter tells the story of Lieska and Cole, a bonded pair who initially try to move on without each other. When danger brings them together in a desperate attempt to quell an outback fire, they realize their soul-bond is stronger than either of them anticipated. I loved the relationship between the characters, especially the tender romance, easy dialogue and natural POVs. A fun short read, guaranteed to please!
Hunter /Princesses of Myth Book 5 BY Joanne Wadsworth
Sweet little novella by Joanne Wadsworth. Only wished that the main characters would have had a full-length story and not ended so abruptly. I did enjoy what I read but also frustrated by such a rush to end it.
