Sadly large parts of this book are just copy and pasted from the same authors book on cinematography. This in turn leaves not enough space to really go in depth on a lot of the new topics, often really only scratching their surface.
Even though it was not as repetetive (internally) as the cinematography book it didn't bring enough new things to the table to warrant an extra purchase.
