Sleepy Little Mouse is very tired, but she doesn't want to take a nap. When she begins to cry, her mother kisses her and tucks in the covers, reads her a story and sings her a song. But Sleepy Little Mouse just cries and cries. She cries until her tears fill the room and she floats out the window and down to the sea. And there she plays with all the creatures until her mother comes to take her home -- for a lovely, and much-needed, nap. The striking three-dimensional illustrations will entice children to look more closely at Sleepy Little Mouse's tiny world as they listen to this perfect naptime story.

summary: This book is about a mouse who does not want to take a nap no matter what her mother does. She eventually does get a nap.
response: I like this book. I like the pictures and the way the characters look like those clay figures in movies like 'The Nightmare before Christmas' and other movies like it. You can almost feel the texture of the mice's fur. I would recommend this to toddlers because they can probably relate to not wanting to take a nap.
A little mouse was sleepy, so her mother put her to bed for a nap. The little mouse didn't want to nap so she cried and cried - so much that her bed floated on her tears out the window where she had an adventure. Cute story with amazing illustrations.
