It had some good techniques but I felt they were focused on travel review writing mostly.

The first part of the book seemed to be filled with often repeated generalizations. I have read them so often in other books, I almost didn't continue. But I'm glad I did. Although the author didn't break any new ground in this book, he did provided a concise look at some of the areas a writer should consider. He moved away from the generalizations and began to provide very specific examples to show his point. Although I skimmed much of the book, I will likely refer back to key parts on my writing projects.
