這次重讀，深覺Octave在劇情編排分鏡上的好，諸多細膩的情感灰階也看得更清楚。可以說是愛上這部作品了！雖然還是討厭看到雪乃的軟弱與慣於規避的行為模式，但也覺得能體諒她的難處：畢竟一個十八歲的鄉下孩子之身來到東京，進入諸多嚴酷的現實界，是要怎樣成熟瀟灑地去面對寂寞？還好有節子而得以拯救。基本上這是一個coming of age的故事，處理著對於自我價值的搖擺、對性的好奇與探索，對於夢想的追與放。在愛情的部分更是刻畫的相當棒，不會過於戲劇化也維持著不安定的張力，還有適時溫柔讓人感到寬慰的地方，看完深深覺得是充滿夜之溫柔的故事！說經典不為過，（而且讓人很想吃麻婆豆腐。）因為不想太早放下，結果還去買了日文版電子書，邊對照中文版邊Google translate細細緩慢的讀這樣。

There is a scene near the beginning of this volume that captures the initial spark of the manga: the delirious whirlwind of sexuality and the unabashed celebration of lesbian sexuality. It's a story that could have been wrapped up far shorter. As it was, this is decidedly not for me.

I feel that for me, the second volume and Yukino's entire manifestationial spiel about penetration/dick (where she would get horny at the idea Mari would have sex as good as Setsuko, which just never happened either (thank god) but like ???) derailed the series in a way it never really recovered from. The gravure model character was another complete misfire with a finish that felt awkward to me. Setsuko had her problems that never got resolved, somehow all got piled up to Yukino - already not a great character, nor a good move overall to slant so much towards your protagonist even if that's her voice, if that makes sense - and I'm meant to believe that this is a relationship that works out when they talk it out a little bit and doesn't when one of them gets in their feelings. Yukino also kind of doesn't want anything, which ended up an important plot point, but it also means the whole idol angle is in limbo and neither me, nor the mangaka, nor Yukino ended up understanding why she even became an idol. Perhaps all of these things are realistic but it made for some VERY melodramatic, VERY juvenile moments. One of you is literally 22!

何年も前のことになるが、このシリーズを初めて読んだ時は衝撃を受けた。普通の恋愛漫画とは全然違い、恋愛を中心にしながら主人公の心の葛藤や成長を大いに描いていく作品だ。第1巻を読んだ時は正直、あまり面白くない話である上、登場人物も好きではないと思った。だが、読んでいくうちに自然と雪乃と節子の成長や関係を応援するようになった。最終回を読み終え、「オクターヴ」は自分の心に強く響いた事に改めて気づいた。何度も読み返す作品となった。

「オクターヴ」は人間的な話で、人生の苦痛や幸福を探る恋愛物語だ。

La serie me ha gustado, aunque a veces los conflictos me parecían un poco forzados y costaba un poco empatizar. Pero es bonito y me gusta que las protagonistas sean dos adultas que se buscan la vida. Acaba bien y de forma coherente para las protagonistas.

Tuvo un final lindo, pero muchas cosas quedaron sin cerrar. En cierta forma, Yukino sigue como al principio, sin saber qué quiere de su vida, el plot personal de Setsuko también quedó en la nada. Siento que pusieron lo del viaje a modo de cierre en vez de dedicarse a desarrollar esos hilos bien. Yukino al final nunca encaró a su """amiga""" tampoco... Siento que este manga empezó bien pero, a partir del segundo tomo, empezó a volverse todo demasiado sexual y dramático. Está perfecto no saber lo que uno quiere en la vida y esas cosas, hay situaciones que se plantan que son realistas, pero hay algunas actitudes de los personajes que son un poco ??? y, eso, parecía como si se buscara presentar situaciones cada vez más dramáticas porque se tenía que superar el drama anterior.

Yuki and Iwai finally move in together. It's still not clear saling with these girls, though. Yuki is still feeling shame about her relationship and Iwai is skipping on job opportunities.

Shiori tries one more time to convince Yuki to date her. It's in fact a subtle manipulation to show Yuki that she requires other's approval. Either that, or Shiori is just getting back at Yuki for not submitting to her advances.

Yuki is shaken, but again takes comfort in Iwai's arms. This time the two of them iron out their concerns, probably for good. They are now willing to make their relationship known to anyone, starting with Yuki's family.

Entretenido.

Creo la historia pudo dar para más. A diferencia de otras historias de mangas que lo alargan hasta puntos innecesarios, creo a esta historia le pudieron sacar mucho más jugo. Pero al final entretuvo, que es lo que cuenta. Y cumple con la escencia del yuri (y un poco más).

I wish we had more time with our two girls over the friends that ate up a lot of pages, and all the work talk, but I enjoyed this whole series enough.
