Nika Michelle did her thing! From the first page I was totally engulfed in the story. The characters were well developed. The plot/storyline was well developed as well it seemed to be thoroughly thought out. The story flowed effortlessly and kept my interest. Would definitely recommend this and I'm looking forward to reading part 2.

Love Nika's style of writing always leaves you wanting more, just getting into the characters on this one and I'm left with my mouth open and eyebrows raised. I need to read Part II ...... I can't wait to read what's in store.

The Empress was a well executed book. The Storyline was well written as well as the characters. This story tore at my heart because i could feel the pain and distance that the main Character Empress went thru in her lifetime. This was one of the best books I read this year. Each character plays their role and makes the book exactly what it is a great read. The Emotional highs and lows this book takes you thru while reading makes this book seems like you are watching it on the big screen. This is a totally different feel for Nika Michelle and she did a great job and differently shined in this book. I definitely cannot wait for the sequel so that I can see what happens in the life of Empress and her crew as well as the people that cross her in this book.

This book was a banger!! Empress was a boss that held it down by herself!! She had soldiers that always had her back no matter what the situations was. Can't wait until part two drops so I can see what's going on with Empress and her crew. I give mad props to Author Nika Michelle for another job well done!!!

That is my first book I read from Nika, but it won't be my last. This book was well written with few errors. The story line flowed well and was very believable. Empress was a trip and a half, but nobody dared to cross her. Yvonne was a woman scorned and Stacey just looking for a quick come. Just know if you do dirt it comes back ten times worse. I can't wait for part 2 to drop.

Slow

I GIVE this book 3 stars because it started off slow the book didn't started picking up until it got close to the end and by then the book had lost my interest keep picking it up and putting back down had to force myself to ready it.

Drama for real

Miami has a Queen that's nothing nice. She running and things just got hotter for herself and crew. Empress is beautiful and seems to have both sexes scared. Treat her like royalty or there is going to be a problem. I can't wait fort part two!!!!!!!
