LATIN lives with his grandparents. His parents have gone missing two years prior. He walks ten miles one way to Market. He trades rare knives etc. AUTUMN, his friend trades medicinal items. BILLY the owner of this market, a very powerful man wants AUTUMN for his wife. With no other alternative Latin and Autumn run off together. I loved this book. It is amazing and while it slows down from time to time it soon picks up and takes you along for the ride. I can't wait to read book 2. I can't wait to see what happens next. I also love that horses are the main way of travel other than foot and the main character is scared of horses.
