Nikki
Thrust into the realities of life at a young age, Nikki uses what she knows and what her two older hoodrat friends, Katasha and FatFat, have taught her to survive.
Seeing no future in Chicago, Nikki heads to Atlanta with big dreams and a price on her head. Arriving in Atlanta she looks for a D-Boy to help her on her mission. What started off as a business partnership for her and Prime, turned into a ride-or-die relationship. Everything was lovely on the homefront until the Feds stepped in. Now Nikki is going all out to get the money needed to bring her man back home. Nikki gets the help she needs but what starts out as help, quickly turns to an obsession.
After Prime returns, he and Nikki settle back into their old life until her past comes back to haunt her and all hell breaks loose. Now her and Prime are faced with a tough decision…kill or be killed.

Nikki by George Sherman Hudson is an excellent book. I purchased this book on Tuesday and finished it on Wednesday.
All I can say is WOW….He did an fantastic job on this story. Just when you think G Street has done the best book ever, the books just keep getting better.
Nikki at a young age watched as her parents were killed and was sent to live with an aunt. When things go bad there, Nikki moves in with two friends who teach her to survive. Nikki thinks she knows it all and has it all planned out. One bad move Nikki makes through the story will come back to haunt her.
This story captures you and will have you glued to each page as you read it from the beginning and hold on tight because it won’t let go.
I knew I wasn’t going to get much done once I started reading, I was too nosey and had to know what was going to happen next.
The author did an excellent job with the storyline.
I loved the characters and thought the characters were very well developed. I love how the character Nikki grew during the story, you never forgot that she was young. The story didn’t make her seem older than what she was. The story made her seem real.
This was a excellent book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end, not one dull moment.
I highly recommend that you add this fast-paced book to your list of books to read this year. I am sure you will enjoy this book as much as I did.

Nikki is a young naive girl who loses her parents at an early age.She is taught at a very young age to get money anyway possible,when she realizes she has nobody to count on she decides to relocate ,unfortunately she ends up taking something very valuable along with her.Prime is a hustler indebted to his supplier.When Prime and Nikki have a chance meeting,the drama and betrayal begins.Can Prime and Nikki eliminate the targets on their backs? or,Will they succumb to their many enemies? Wow!!!! I enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end.The drama was abundant and the suspense was at an all time high.The cliffhanger ending have me anticipating part 2,What a great read.Another hit by GSH.

First Read!
This was my first read from this author and I must say I'm hooked now!! This book was good from beginning to end!! Boy oh boy did it have some treachery. I'm not sure why I still wish the best for Nikki because she was grimy too, lol. Now on to part 2 of this series!!

Great story plot
I loved how the author made the characters believable. Being in that lifestyle is
dangerous and I was glued to what would happen next to Nikki. I'm happy Prime came back to her but I'm scared of what will happen in the sequel, I look forward to reading!!

Poor Nikki couldn't catch a break. She and Prime learned quickly the meaning of trust no one. Nikki was a true ride or die chick for her man. Not many woman would have been able to endure all she went through.

The main character in this book, Nikki had it hard since birth. Every time you think she has a come up, something happens that throws you off. This is a very raw urban read. I was able to finish it in a few hours because it held my attention from beginning to end.

Great read. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I finished it in two days. A great, great love story with well placed twists and turns. I highly recommend this book. getting ready to read part two. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

oh my gaaawwwd?.....this book was an emotional roller coaster Nikki could not catch a break since she was a child. its a cold world and with friends like thst who needs enemies real talk i was sooooo happy her and Prime rekinfled but im afraid what will happen next stay tuned of to Book 2

Very good read that kept my attention. Very fast paced and the story flowed well. I just wish the author kept going to wrap the story up. It would have made a great stand alone!

I feel so bad for Nikki! she couldn't catch a break. Everybody she came across had ulterior motives. I don't like the way it ended, but it was still very good.

It took me a minute to get into it but once I did, it was a good read from there on. On to part 2, hope it doesn't start off slow like the 1st but I will read it all the way through regardless.
