She co-wrote under the USA Today Bestselling duo, Kennedy Fox for six years before going back to solo writing. She lives in the frozen tundra of Packer Nation with her husband, wild teenager, and four dogs. Brooke's addicted to iced coffee, leggings, and naps. She found her passion for telling stories during winter break one year in grad school—and she hasn’t stopped since.
So this series started off slow for me being that book 1 is written in Molly's voice alone. Yes, you got to know everything she felt, experience, and understand the journey she took that leads her to Drake but it also left me some what disliking and disconnected to her. By the end of book 1 we are provided with another voice. Book 2, provides us with two voices and a more complete story. The rollercoaster ride that begins is wonderful! The twists and turns are very original especially when you learn the reasons behind the drama. By book 3, I was completely involved with this couple and their journey. Just when you think that everything is going smoothly another twist it throw into the mix.
I loved this ride and in the end Brooke Cumberland won me over as a fan. I can't wait to read more from her!!

The Riverside Trilogy has had me in tears, shouting at the books and not wanting to put them down. Brooke Cumberland has written a fantastic series. I would recommend this book and the whole series.
what a brilliant trilogy ! bargain buy :) Really enjoyed this series. characters were all really nice, loved drake !! book 3 was my fave, looking forward to read more from this author.
Kitchen Affairs Review: I found Kitchen Scandals a little better than Kitchen Affairs. There was a little more suspense than the first book. I did know who the troublemaker was from the start, it just took a long time to find out if I was right. My biggest complaint is there is a lot of repetition. I found Molly and Drake's love life kind of boring, it was the same from scene to scene. Kitchen Scandals got an extra star for suspense that is all.

Kitchen Promises Review: I got the suspense I look for. I had it figured out from the start, which I was okay with. I kept reading to see if I was right, which I was. The biggest problem I have is the decisions both Drake and Molly would make. I found some of the things that went on were very repetitive, this gets a little annoying.
Overall this series is okay, but I would not recommend. It tends to be repetitive and annoying on some things.
I want to thank author Sharon Cummin for introducing to this fabulous read
’24 minutes, 24 hours, 24 days, 24 months, or 24 years…would never be enough time with you. For every day I get with you, my life feels complete. Don’t ever forget that. My life only just begun the moment you were mine. Love yours and forever” Drake to Molly
Molly-pretty, scared, outspoken and a mom
Stella-Molly’s daughter
Drake-sweet, hot, built and calm
Michael-Molly’s best-friend
Molly’s husband Liam had passed away in an accident many years ago. She was determined to make a good life for her and her daughter no matter what. Happiness and love were never on the table for her doing what was best for her and Stella was all that mattered most. But was it ever to be possible that one day she would be able to find the one man that could reignite the flame within her? Can love find her again and at what cost? And can the man except that she and her daughter are a package deal.
Drake is the man that everyone woman wants. Dating a different woman when the mood struck was something he was happy with or was he? Going to an event one night proved to be mind-blowing for him. Looking across the room and seeing a woman that he did not know but stood out in her own unique way was volcanic to him. This woman was going to be the breath that he took, the air that he breathed he knew it in his soul. If only for one moment in time, as he continued to look he saw that she had a ring on her finger. She proved to be taken by someone. However can first appearances be true? This was the determining factor for him he had to know who she was and nothing was bound to stop him or was something?
Molly and Drake’s journey is a whirlwind of an affair of the heart. This unique and compelling story of love, honor and friendship will have you in an emotional up-roar for sure. Crying, screaming and laughter are what is in store for you when you pick up this book. Their journey if be together or apart is something of Cinderella meets Snow White to some degree when reading this journey. The twists and turns at every page make you want to just turn the page to see what more is in store for this couple.
The author gives us suspense, mystery, love lots of hot hot hot sex, lots of screams and laughter to. I felt like I was the proverbial fly on the wall at times and the characters didn’t mind one bit for the moment in time. Thank you for this amazing read.
Oh let’s not forget Michael he is Molly’s best-friend that is looking for his forever man. He and Molly along with Stella are the package deal no matter what accept one you have to accept them all. Does Michael find his happily ever after man?
Oh I'm really pissed about this series and the fact I paid $10 for it.
I was thinking, yeah great I'll give this series ago because I loved The Intern series by this author, thought it was a sure thing.
Boy was I wrong!
I couldn't even get through the first book without being bored to tears so I didn't finish it, won't bother reading the rest of the series.
From the beginning this booked was rushed, there was no devolpement with any of the characters, I felt no connection with them what so ever.
I've read 57 page books that had more connection between myself and the story.
I needed to know why all of a sudden Drake was obsessed with her, there was no pretence, it was just bam I need you. Seriously after a few dates they were vowing their love for each other.
It lacked chemistry between the two of them. The sex was flat an boring and very rushed.
This whole thing needed to be slowed down and expanded on to create better chemistry for everyone involved.
Book 1...not my favourite. The writing is a little different, some of the words / sentences are overused. I don't feel connected to Molly yet , it's like she's saying the words but there's nothing behind them. Hoping book 2 will change that... Book 2...slightly better but still I find myself skimming through it. A lot of it was predictable or left too many unanswered questions. Book 3...i found myself skimming rather a lot of it purely because I was invested in finding out what happened to the characters even though I still didn't feel very connected to them.
Words cannot express how much I loved this trilogy. The characters of Drake, Molly and all their supporting characters will always hold a place in my heart. Now you can get all three in one place! How awesome is that?
Do you want a steamy read, with enough suspense to keep you guessing? If you answered yes then this is the trilogy for you.
Do you love a hot, sexy alpha male who will melt your panties off? Then you will love Drake.
I found the characters very likable and engaging. I enjoyed the suspense within the story lines. I liked the playful banter. What I had a hard time with was some of the dialogue. To me it was unnatural and awkward. I also felt like some of the story lines repeated in the books. Someone was obsessed with Molly. An ex wanted Drake and was causing trouble. It was a decent trilogy - I give it 3.5 stars.
I loved all 3 books in this trilogy but I really wish someone would edit them. There were words missing, when it should have been her it was him and at times I had to go back and re-read pages to make sure I was reading it correctly. I gave all 3 books 5 stars because it was an AMAZING story but get the books edited please!
If you read the Intern Series, you don't need to read this series. Similar story with a new cast of characters. Spoilers...
And what is it with her and little girls being sexually abused. Happen in both stories and the main character is always being attacked by psychos. This book felt forced and I always finish a book. I wish I hadn't continue reading this series.
I know romance novels are not meant to always be reality but this one was too far out there. The lovey dovey perfect life with the bumps in the road always taken care of by drake was too much. Also, there were a tone of typos which drove me crazy.
The book was slow, it took awhile to jump in, I was not too crazy about 2nd book with 2 voices, It took some getting used to. I did like the characters, especially how they were so thoughtful and understanding. I think the 3rd book was my favorite.
I liked this series and found it romantic and sweet. It is not my favorite by Brooke Cumberland but it had its own uniqueness to it which made it a better for me.
