Christopher Walker is a blogger, podcaster, and biohacker. He's the first student to graduate from Duke University's neuroscience program in three years and he naturally overcame extreme hormonal deficiencies caused by an ornery brain tumor, eventually raising his testosterone to 1192 ng/dL. Nice overview on endocrine system and great workout, lifestyle and dieting tips. Even if they would not work for you, following some of them would most likely improve your life somewhat.

The most shocking aspect of the book for me were the US prices on having your blood checked for hormones, $100 being in the "cheap" range. Late stage capitalism is disappointing.

The must read for a men's health!
Can be a life-changer. And I will test a few ideas, for sure.

Some facts are disturbing: Men's loss of hair was drastically reduced with castration. Confirmed on many samples. For that I hope that testing sample was made among rapists, pedophiles, volunteered priests and "vegetable"-patients in coma. Maybe also with people who donate their body to science, those who aim to get to the 99 virgins paradise via explosions & some annoying sales people.
No-no-no, I do not plan to test the castration.

There are also speculations in that book. And facts that are recently updated.
The statements that the author had not found any research supporting idea of (cold showers) "exposure to cold with a boosting impact on Testosterone" - that can be updated. Now, I guess, it's a growing community with Wim Hof Method followers & practitioners. So the fact that author did the cold showers himself, also supported him (with the Testosterone, muscles & mood boost).

Testosterone I/O covers all the bases of testosterone - it's production, use and importance to the body. Sections cover supplements, diet, alcohol consumption, workout menus and some recipes. The author offers current, relevant research and his own anecdotal evidence to back up his suggestions. I particularly found the sections on cortisol, cholesterol and fasting useful. Best of all, suggestions vary in their levels of commitment, so there's something for everyone here. Even if a reader doesn't come away with higher T or HGH, he'll probably have a healthier lifestyle by enacting the author's' ideas.
