First of all this book was Amazing!! I loved the story it had me at page one. It was a great page turner with one of the best cliffhangers I have ever read. I am ready for book two.
Georgia is a girl in rural NC dealing with teenage issues combated with her own history of hurt. The character is a firecracker.
You've got everything to make this book great a strong main character, two guys trying to win Georgia's affection, the mean girl, and the reformed mean girl. The author also uses music throughout the book. I feel the music helps Georgia like a form of musical therapy.
If you loved Hopeless by Colleen Hoover, then you will love this book too.

I received an ARC copy of this book to give an honest review. This one was a little hard for me to read due to some of the story line being so close to stuff that has happen in my family.

Georgia has been living with the Hyde family since her step-father Cecil was put in prison. Georgia’s daddy died when she was younger so her mother met Cecil and married him. Life with Cecil after mother’s car accident was the worst a child should have to endure. So when he was put in prison Georgia was given the best gift she could get. She got to live with her best friend Jennifer and her family. There was always a lot of ugly talking going on about what happen to Georgia while in the care of Cecil, but Mrs. Hyde never put up with it. Like Georgia says a lot in this story it was her faith in God that helped her get through all that awful stuff that she would get rescued.

Know it is their senior year of high school and a lot has changed. Jenn and Georgia are close but not as much since she start hanging out with Harper Kelly. She did have her one friend she has counted on since they were younger Shane. He is always there for her no matter what is going on. Shane and Georgia play guitar with Misty and they are going to get to play at the graduation. So they have been doing lot of practicing to make sure they sound awesome for the mini concert for graduation. After practice one day Shane and Georgia go out for hamburgers, Misty didn’t go due to having a date, so when they get to the place for their burgers Georgia gets a text from Jenn asking her to pick her up at Harper Kelly’s because she needs a ride home. She picks her up and asks why Harper couldn’t bring her home while on her way to her boyfriends Jason’s house. It was out of the question for her to go out of the way.

Georgia and Shane are invited to a party at Harper Kelly’s house but Shane doesn’t really want to go. But being the friend he is he decides to do for Georgia. The day before the party Georgia is drug out shopping for clothes and hair and everything else to get ready because she finds out that Harper’s ex-boyfriend likes her and Harper likes Shane. The party turns into a big mess and Georgia runs out after seeing Harper sitting on Jason after they had just made out. Georgia takes off running and she hears someone yelling for her but she doesn’t stop, she just keeps running. She gets to the edge of this area in the woods where she could just jump and kill herself, but Shane is there and grabs her so that they can talk. She crying while Shane is holding her. On the ride home they were talking and Shane ask Georgia to the prom.

This is where I am going to stop because there is so much more that happens between Georgia, Shane, and Jason that you have to read to learn about it all. Plus learn how Jennifer stood up to Harper Kelly. I can't wait to find out when the second book comes out.

Georgia has lived in North Carolina with her best friend’s family since she was twelve years old. Her father, a Fireman, died when she was two and her mother was in a car accident when she was twelve. She was saved from her stepdad and given refuge with the Hyde family where she was raised as their own daughter. Her best friend Jennifer had become more of a sister than a friend. They were both approaching graduation and Georgia was thinking about going off to school and maybe continuing to study music.
Jennifer had another friend by the name of Harper Kelly whose family was very well off financially and lived in a big mansion. They were pretty much always together and Georgia did not run with that crowd. She was not considered that pretty and had never had a boyfriend; Jennifer and Harper were totally into fashion and boys, while Georgia had her religious beliefs, her music and Shane.
Shane was, well, perfect; very tall, muscular and handsome…a girl’s dream. Georgia just saw him as a friend, but Harper saw him as new prospects! Close to the end of the year Harper and Jennifer came to Georgia with a proposal, they would help make her beautiful to the school football jock, Jason, if Georgia would lead Shane Harper’s way. So the plan was to spend a day in town getting pretty for a big party that Harper was throwing. When the make-over day was over neither Jennifer or Harper could believe the change in Georgia, she was gorgeous! At the party that night Jason fell head over heels for Georgia, but Shane wanted no part of Harper.
That night Georgia’s life changed forever, she realized that she was pretty and that both Shane and Jason wanted her and she really liked both of them! Both Jennifer and Georgia also realized that Harper was nobody’s friend. She was only out for herself! For the rest of the school year Georgia was seeing both Shane and Jason and they wanted her to choose one or the other but she couldn’t; they had such different qualities and she couldn’t make up her mind. At this same time, things that were important to Georgia started disappearing and her car was also tampered with. Unfortunately she was too busy having fun and getting ready to graduate to realize that something may be wrong!
I enjoyed this book a lot! Kristen Flynn brought back a lot of memories of my senior year and how much fun I had. You have to read “Saving Georgia” though to find out what happens to her! This book is fast-paced and in some parts funny and some parts, very sad. I love it when Jennifer pays Harper back for all of the trouble that she causes! I give this book five ***** stars and can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!

*** I received an advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review.***

Where do I begin this review except to say I LOVE GEORGIA. She has become one of my favorite book heroines. She is someone I would want as my best friend. She is beautiful and a survivor. Kristin Flynn has appropriately named the book "Saving Georgia." She couldn't have found a better title. It's truly about saving Georgia. Others have worked to save Georgia, but Georgia has worked harder than anyone in saving herself.

Georgia was an orphan who was taken in by the wonderful Hyde family after losing her mother and being rescued from her depraved stepfather, Cecil. He gives meaning to the word "monster." Georgia has worked very hard to achieve some sort of peace and happiness in her life with the help of her friends and family. The Hyde family treats her as their own daughter. She not only sees their daughter, Jennifer as a best friend but as a sister. She is in her senior year and looking forward to graduation. Things change for her as she finds herself involved in a love triangle caught between two amazing guys, Shane, her hot best friend and Jason, the sexy football player. She develops strong feelings for both. At first, I was annoyed that she couldn't seem to make her mind up, but as I read more, I could understand why she couldn't make her mind up. She has never been involved with any guy before. It also didn't help that both were AMAZING guys!!!

There are some things that set this book apart from others in the genre. The author deals with the issue of faith. Georgia has a strong faith. It has not only helped her dig her way out of a dark, dark hole, but it has helped her flourish. She struggles with her faith as her relationship deepens with each guy. Her struggle is dealt with in a very realistic way without coming across as too preachy. Saving Georgia is also part mystery. Strange things begin happening to Georgia that she doesn't give a second thought to until things become more sinister. Who is behind these things, and what does this person want from her?

Overall, I loved this book. The last chapter is heart stopping, and there is a bit of a cliffhanger. But, the author is planning a sequel. My hope is that people who read this book and have gone through something similar to what Georgia has can find some hope and happiness as she did. Georgia will stay with you long after you finish the last page.

I will say that this book sucked me in from page one. Kristin Flynn does a great job of getting you into the story and connecting you to the characters.

You meet Georgia; she’s had a really hard time while growing up, her dad died when she was really young and her mother followed not much longer after. Then she was put into the custody of the mother’s new husband, and things get even worse from there. You don’t really get information about what happens during that time, but from the bits and pieces Kristin does provide, it sounds pretty intense. Even with all the heartbreak in her past, Georgia tries to live a happy life, and do things that normal kids do. Of course things can’t stay calm forever, and she gets stuck in a love triangle (and this is also where I start to get upset with her)

There’s Shane, he’s Georgia’s best friend and someone she can’t live without. She loves him and is IN love with him, but won’t take their relationship to that next level because she’s afraid to lose him (which pisses me off). Shane has been her rock ever since she was younger, she couldn’t imagine her life without him. He’s always there to help her when she is in need, and he knows some of her darkest secrets, but will his love and support help her decide he is the one she needs in her life romantically?

With Jason, she’s a different person. Jason is the hot and popular baseball player. Everyone wants to be with Jason, and for some reason he wants Georgia. I will admit, he can be pretty sweet at times, but he rubs me the wrong way (I’m sure there are others that absolutely love him though). He used to date the selfish and shallow Harper Kelley and now he wants to date Georgia, it just doesn’t sit well with me. Will she fall for all his sweet words and take a chance at getting her heartbroken?

Throughout this book you get to follow Georgia on her journey as she finally decides to come out of her shell and start to give romance a chance. The only question is, who will she choose, and will it be the right choice?

This book does end with a cliff hanger, and I’ll be anxiously waiting to see what happens next with Georgia. I’ll also be looking to read more from Kristin Flynn as well.

I was surprised by Saving Georgia. I started reading this book not knowing anything about it. I didn't even read the synopsis. From page 1, I immediately liked Georgia. She was sweet, strong, forgiving, and even though she had gone through an extremely heartbreaking experience that caused her to mature faster than most girl's her age, there was still an innocence about her that was endearing. I was pretty suspicious of most of the characters in the story from the beginning except for Shane. As the story went on I relaxed, but just a little bit. Let's talk Shane... I love him. He's sweet, straight to the point, confident, and loyal. A no nonsense guy with that little something special that you can't quite put your finger on. The writing style of the author is quirky, but I really liked it. I got anxious, I smiled a lot, laughed, got aggravated at times, and swooned (Shane). I recommend you give Kristin Flynn's debut book a try. I'm looking forward to more from her.

Review:
I was given an ARC of this book by the Author in exchange for an honest review.

OH MY GOODNESS! I devoured this book in a matter of hours truth be told. I don't think I actually slept and just read it straight through in one sitting. It was that good. I was instantly sucked into the story spun by Kristin Flynn, and am desperately waiting for the next book in this series, which will no doubt have me just as sucked into Georgia's story.

The characters are absolutely fantastic, and even if I were a normal girl, trying to decide between the two guys vying for Georgia's attention would be a difficult decision! The characters are so well written and make me want to have them in my life. Seriously.

I do not have any complaints about this book at all, and I would greatly recommend this story to anyone who loves strongly created characters. We've all known someone like the mean girls in this story, the hot male best friend, the hot quarterback, and even the reformed mean girl.

Okay, I lied, I have one complaint...THAT CLIFF HANGER ENDING!! I want more damn it, seriously give me more. Next book please! I advise you to also check out the playlist that goes with this book, it's a really good one and definitely fits the story crafted by Kristin Flynn.

Can't wait for book two to get here.

Wow what a ride. The ups and downs on this book just had me going. This was a fantastic love triangle. I don't usually like to read those but I seem to find myself reading more and more of them. This book was so well done I don't know how you could choose between those two amazing boys. They each have their own unique qualities that make you want to swoon and choose them. I don't envy Georgia. I new I was in trouble as my kindle percentage kept going up and no end seemed to be in sight. Let me just warn anyone out there C-L-I-F-F!!!! Omg that was a wow of an ending, let me just say I'm actually worried. More for Shane that anyone really. I really, really hope there is another book coming.

Poorly written and unrealistic. Obvious no professional editing was involved. The way the heroine speaks is strange and robotic. Also the hot popular guy suddenly interested in the heroine makes no sense.

Overall this book makes no sense based on the actions of the characters.

Big fail.

Omg!!! This book is incredible and scary. I am so emotional about the characters and the story. I'm glad that Georgia is living the life she wants I'm just sorry about her triangle. The way this story twists and turns gives me a feel of wariness. I want to know but then I don't.
