The second book in the entertaining 'Shameless' series by Robert
Caroline’s work in expanding the company is going well but underneath she is troubled by having to spend so much time away from her husband. When the American chief executive tries to take advantage of her on a business trip to Brazil, she falls completely out of love with work and into the arms of Erik, a former boyfriend and internationally renowned artist. She craves the freedom of Erik’s bohemian friends, musicians and designers in London. Everyone in London is talking about a new religious cult based on releasing the power of the female orgasm. Caroline visits the remote Scottish island where Regina Heart presides over the cult’s orgasmic ceremonies. Regina selects Caroline to be the first High Priestess of the organisation, but first she will have to go through a dramatic sexual initiation at the solstice moon ceremony. Will Caroline ever be able to escape the dungeons of Castle Dunlaggin and the tangle of deception spun by the imposing Regina?
Book #2 in the Shameless series by Robert Fanshaw, sees Caroline and Robert getting deeply involved with a number of sexy, naughty and tantalising situations. Together and separately, they manage to make their way through these situations until the climax (pun totally intended) of the story.
I absolutely loved the humour of this book. It had me laughing out loud at numerous occasions (especially Caroline's antics with the soccer match).
I loved the interactions between the men and women, and women and women, and men and men in this book. So many combinations of lovers, it was a true mixed delight. The sinfully sexy naughty scenes were quick and light, but also deviously described enough to draw the reader into them.
Why then, does this not have 5 out of 5? Well it comes down to the slightly unrealistic situations. I found them a little hard to grasp, hard to believe they'd occur, and even harder to think that people would blindly enter into them. This didn't take too much away from the story, as you can see with my rating, but it was enough to make me drop a star.
If you're interested in a wicked little tale of sexual tension, sexual exploration and sexual embarrassment, try Robert's Shameless Series today! Shameless Ambition was a delicious mix of sexy scenarios. Shameless Exposure is a wicked tale of sexual exploration and deceit all wrapped up in one of the most bizarre scenes I think I've ever read about, group masturbation really is something I'd never thought about before. (You'll certainly learn something new with this book!). And I intend to devour Shameless Corruption in the very near future to see how Robert brings this story to a close.
I noticed a couple of things:
29% - ...stream of new hot water to (replace to with so) that it circulated... 89% - ...I've been removed from then (delete the n) case.
I thoroughly enjoyed Robert's previous book 'Shameless Ambition' and wasn't sure where this, the sequel, could go after the political firestorm that resulted. But I was delighted to resume the adventures of familiar characters, some with the same names, others with new names and possibe nefarious purposes. This time, Robert's task is to investigate the activities of his old adversary, whilst deciding if she really has turned over a new leaf. After all, losing everything could be enough to change a person...
Meanwhile, Caroline is inadvertently exposing herself to sexual embarrassment, meeting up with old flames, Chinese strangers and even a princess, all the time trying to track down her estranged mother. She is ill prepared for what she finds. Shameless Exposure is a worthy sequel and after I read through it once, I read it again, just to delight in the various adventures... and perhaps read the naughty bits again. If I could have half the adventures that Caroline has. If you've read Shameless Ambition, get this. If not, buy them both and read them back-to-back. Tell them I sent you. I'm off to re-read Robert's other delight 'Catch.'
