I enjoyed a cheater. What next......It was hard to read, I admit. But I enjoyed the writing and I only saw one editing issue. Its a quick read and very realistic. I love the H. The swine. Lol. But he loves her and she gets her revenge. Boy, does she. I'd term it as New Adult Erotica, because....well...because. LOL.

4.5. I really don't understand the one stars here. The book was very well written, consequences shown on both sides and an excellent second chance romance. I wonder if people read the blurb before they read the book, because it's exactly how it was portrayed. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 star is because I would've liked it to be a little longer to get a more rounded picture of them as a couple after they have overcome their issues.

Cheating novels are my guilty pleasure, because of the many potentials they have and the redemption storylines. With this said: This must probably the worst book I ever read. I suspected it at the first page and confirmed it in the second chapter. I was sadly so looking forward to this book.

As usual, there are books that somehow fulfil all the expectations that you have. This book is like a reverse version, it has nothing you wanted but everything you did not want.

What did I expect? A mature dealing with the question of second chances or even just showing the basis of healthy relationships. Some nice grovelling scenes, regret over the possibility of losing the supposed love of his life.

What did I get?
- Unsupportive best friend, who condones your cheating partner? Check.
- Uncontrite male lead, who is angry for the lack of forgiveness or acceptance of cheating? Check.
- Immature heroine? Sadly check.

The heroine annoyed me the least, not that the bar is high. The guy is worse. He shows absolutely zero regret, but instead becomes angry that she refuses to let go. Not once was there a scene, in which reading it, he felt genuinely remorseful for his actions. Furthermore, he is a real class act. , which really shows how much he must love the Avery.

But the best friend is the absolute worst of this novel, which is very unexpected. Most expectations are at the main couple, the function of the best friend is to be an emotional support and occasionally drive the plot when necessary. The fact that the author, in any way, shows that makes me pray that I will never be treated like that. Furthermore, although it is not solely Summer, the best friend, who does it, but she embodies many questionable morals. From, boys will be boys (which I find kind of offensive) to saying that not telling the truth is not hurting you and therefore job as best friend well-done? In fact, she is so supportive of him that you would believe she was his best friend.
But it is probably worse than the hero, because it is so much more disappointing and just not what you expect.

Overall, the story shone with immaturity, which may have been the author's intention.

This book will teach you a lesson on going home with strangers.
I felt so bad for Avery learning the love of her life cheated on her. i feel bad for Haden just a little now much because he really messed up. But She was on a mission to even things out. What that got her was more heartach and her life in danger. Just cuz a guy is easy on the eyes doesnt mean he is to be trusted just saying. I think every young adult should read this!
But i love how no matter what with all the issues she has with haden they still love each other so much and realize the mistakes they made. its a love you dont see often but always hope for.
must Read!

I won a free copy of this book through Goodreads First Reads Giveaway. This was a very easy read about love, cheating, revenge, and the risk involved with getting intimate with someone you don't know. Definitely think all young single adults could learn a thing from this book.

I wanted to like this book but honestly, I thought it was written very poorly, like this was the first book the author wrote.

If you're in the mood for a short read this is the book... Very quick and to the point.. After Avery finds out her boyfriend has cheated on her with a girl she can't stand, she can't get over it... She decides that she has to even the score.. He slept with someone else, so it's only fair she do the same...Will this be the best thing she's ever done? Or the worse? One click and find out!!! love the story..

A really good short story and is written really well, I usually don't like to read stories with cheating but I thought I would give this a go and I'm glad I did, it managed to draw me in and I was captivated from the first page......I didn't like the circumstances of this story but it is good all the same.....

I actually enjoyed this book..not to long..not to short..yes there is cheating..however isn't that what happens with lots of relationships...Last time I checked we are all flawed..doesn't make it ok..but that's a lot of people's reality..and this book puts a nice scary spin on it..entertaining read!!!

A contemporary romance based on the complications of a young couple facing cheating in their relationship. Avery and Hayden have been dating since high school. Avery decided that payback was the answer to the pain.
The story flows well and is a quick read. The characters are well defined. There is some suspense and violence in the book.

Wow this is so not your average boy meets girl book. It is dark and creepy and it's more real life and real struggles than any other book dares to tell. I am impressed and happy to get my HEA regardless.

I could understand Avery's need for an eye for an eye, but then she kept throwing Haden's cheating in his face and that got kind of old. Other than that issue it was a good story and a quick little read!

A good depiction of what cheating will and can do to a persons mental being and the after affects. If you don't like books about cheating then don't read this one.

2.5 stars.
Three words to describe this book: dark, creepy, different.
Not quite what I expected with the blurb but yeah - stranger danger I guess... in more ways than one
