She was amazing and he loved to touch her with his eyes, but that was as far as their relationship could ever go, because if she ever learned of what a cold blooded killer he was she would hate him. Tyre had one goal in life, which could be best summed up in the statement that he needed to be in control. Control was peace. Without control there was nothing but chaos. He’d been in chaos before and it was far better to be on the other side. The side for good. He didn’t just kill people for hire anymore. He killed those who needed killing. Perhaps somewhat hard to justify for some, but to him it made sense. To be a killer, as he was though, meant to also be alone, for who would want to befriend a killer let alone be his lover. Such a relationship would mean commitment. It would mean a loss of control. It would mean to willingly expose oneself to emotions better left chained away in the recesses of his shattered mind. Sometimes you don’t have a choice to choose whether to become involved or not though. When the girl you wish you could have is wanted dead along with her son what choice does he have, but to step into the equation and start killing to protect someone worth fighting for, even dying for. Something like that is worth losing control for.
I’m a redeemed ordinary person intent on bringing my Heavenly Father, pleasure and a return on the priceless investment that He has made into my life. I’ll never be able to fully repay Him, but my goal is to try and when my time comes to go that I’ll be caught away in the very act of still trying to do so.
Read my books and you'll learn everything there is to know about me in a way that only several hundred thousand words can do, but in a nutshell I'm imaginative and I love to write and at some point in my busy life I have apparently had a lot of time to do just that.
Agent for a Cause was a mixed-emotions experience for me. On the one hand, I enjoyed it and looked forward to reading it since it was Tyre's story. I really liked getting a look into what he did, his survival past, and his heart for protecting the people he loved. His care for both Anna and Kevin was sweet, and a contrast to his vigilante/killer persona. On the other hand, while the author's note at the beginning had clued me in, and thus I knew it was an issue that would play a part in the story, I somehow still didn't expect this to be such an anti-vax story (and not of the covid kind). I don't know if it was made worse by the author's info-dump tendencies when trying to explain something in the past or what, but it definitely diminished my enjoyment of this book. Among other issues that are present in his writing in the two books I've read so far (from him/this series), I'd also point out the jumping from head to head from one paragraph to the next without letting the reader know. Still, it didn't happen as often as with the first book, so I let it pass.
Now, having read the blurb, reviews, and content warning for the next book, I'm still not sure whether I'll pick it up, or if I'll end up skipping it and moving on to the following (4th) one. Also, besides the aforementioned issue, due to the violent content in this one, I don't feel like I can recommend this one.
Content: Sex: yes between the MCs, but only after they're married and it shows the lead-up to it, and then closes the door. One really passionate make-out session, that ends up with him grabbing her butt cheeks (though other than that, if hands wander, the reader's not told). Violence: the second chapter shows Tyre's vengeance on a cartel lord, from explosions to murdering different men that worked for him. Also, a scene where he pays a visit to the CEO of a Vax industry and gives him "a taste of his own medicine." Finally, at least three rescue scenes where the knives, guns, and bullets are put to use by everyone involved, and that seem straight out of an action movie. Language: none that I can remember, "d*ng" tops.

When Kevin is kidnapped Tyre is unsure what to do. Can Anna and Tyre become a family? Will Kevin be rescued? Your answers await you in Agent for a Cause.
Guy Stanton III hits another one out of the park with this one. I love how the characters are flawed and very real. The story just bridges gaps that other stories don't. With alittle of faith mixed in that sets the right tone. I look forward to my next adventure in this series.
Another non-stop action book in this series. The barmaid does not realize she is flirting with a cold-blooded killer. But she brings out the human side of him. This book is a branch off Book 1 and delves into Tyre's life and background. We learn more of the organization that Tyre and Flint work for. Anna is not just beautiful, but she has an autistic son. Tyre's heart is finally melting. He bonds with Anna's son and find out that he's an off-the-charts genius. That makes him a target for some bad people. I loved how this book flowed, but it does need some editing. That is the only minus. If you can overlook that until the author fixes it, this is one awesome book! I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.
This is book two in the Agent series. What a great secret agent story! Damsel in distress, single mom, with an autistic son meets emotionally shut off agent Tyre. Sounds a little like your typical agent story, but wait...it's all written from a Christian perspective. Lots of romance, lots of fighting, but, not explicit at all and no swearing. Perfect in my eyes. Needs a little editing, but I have come to love this author. This is book two out of six and I will be reading the rest. Only .99 Kindle version, so worth the buck. I give it 4 stars. I can recommend for ages 16 and these books can be read as stand alone. I can recommend for age 16 and up, due to mature content.
Agent with a Cause highlights the aspects of autism that is not thought about by many. That the children are brilliant, geniuses in their own way. This is an added to the storyline that is already catching from the first page. On the first page it begins with a so called stalker watching a woman working in a bar as the bartender. After being caught watching her for so long is confronted the book continues on from there and will only get better book goes along.
This is the second book of the Agent series. A good action/adventure and romance. This book shows the world of autism. It discusses the difficulties of an autistic and the hardships that care for them. A few editing errors but not distracting from story. Mr. Stanton again shows us the power of prayer and faith. A good addition to this series.
Tyre on a rampage. Well, he is not someone to mess with. I understood that in the first book, but this book gave a much clearer picture. And if you want to blow up a volcano to get rid of some enemies, ask him.
