Kylie is the shy Bancroft who has a crush on her professor, Garrett Beecher. Little does she know…he has been secretly crushing on her, too. But there are a few defining factors that is working against them. Mainly Garrett's dramatic ex-wife, the weird guy that is kicking Garrett's back in while trying to get closer to Kylie, and the mysterious hand found in Garrett's garden.
This book was different from the others, because of a heinous crime. The flow wasn't as fluid as the others, but good nonetheless. If you are holding this series, then I hope that you are as enthralled with this family and their dynamic, as I am.
So far this is my least favorite story in the series. While the story line is good. The way things unfold throughout the book is very predictable. I had a hard time staying engaged in the story. The ending felt rushed instead of a natural progression like the other books in this series.
This was a good read. Kylie and Gareth .wow. Gareth have been Kylies teacher for a year, want to be with her but was afraid to say so. Same for Kylie, until they talk went for a weekend to Portland met Gareth friends . They told Kylie about Gareth ex wife. Wow she is something else. Wow this was a good read . Going to next in the series
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Kylie was the shy introvert in the Bancroft family. She was crushing on Gareth her professor. Their chemistry was undeniable. Gareth and Kylie had several obstacles to overcome in their relationship. The storyline kept me engaged, and I can’t wait to read more about the Bancroft family.
The story fit well with the rest of this series however, it was not as enjoyable as the books read. The characters were not developed as well as the story's ending. The book certainly could use a proofreader and or editor.
Goodbye Lonely a Mount Faith Series Book by Brenda Barrett…….Another awesome story about the Bancroft family. Kylie was the oldest daughter that lacked confidence. A must read!!!!! Excellent Christian principles….
