Not a favourite by a long stretch. Too much sex, not enough story. Really had no clue about who or what Kel and Pim are by the end of this short. It's more than probable that one needs to read the series from which these characters have emerged to fully understand and appreciate this story.
It's very well written, just doesn't stand well in isolation.
Two short seasonal stories (mf) around two couples briefly mentioned in the two previous books - I suggest reading this book last in the trilogy, it made a better reading order.
This was a lovely quick read and I believe there are several other volumes that link in. I like the idea that there is a special town called Arcada where all manor of supernatural live together in piece. There are all creatures here from elves to fairies and wolf shifters. Each short story is of one couple finding their mate and settling in the town.
I enjoyed these two short stories based in Arcada, were I'm used to the stories being mm! But these are MF and they both had some hot sex in them and likeable characthers, being short stories not so much characther development, but still enjoyable short reads.
