Veronica’s werewolf tattoos mark her as the mate of two sexy insatiable alphas, Rafe and Slade, identical dark-haired hunks. Together their powers and their pleasures are amplified. They teach her when to control her inner wolf and when to let it run free. Veronica wants to tell her friends everything only she fears they won’t be able to handle the truth that she is a werewolf. And even if they can adapt to the reality that the supernatural world exists, will they accept that she loves both men? Whether they find out or not may be out of her hands. The full moon is rising and danger is closer to her friends than she realizes. Danger is no problem for Rafe and Slade. They are virtually invincible. The only thing stronger than their power together is their love for Veronica. When she gets an ominous warning that their bond will endanger everyone, she would rather kill the messenger of this bleak prophecy than give it any credence. The girl with the werewolf tattoo won’t let anything separate her from her gorgeous blue-eyed alphas. Not fate. Not fear. Not even death.
This book is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.
"The Girl With The Werewolf Tattoo - Book 2 - Her Alphas" was given to me in eBook form for free as an ARC (Advance Reader Copy) by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Victoria, Slade and Rafe are back and are adjusting to their unusual arrangement. The twins are both in love with Veronica and she loves both of them. They have agreed that she is the fated mate of both werewolves. Veronica is also adjusting to being a werewolf herself and has realized that because of her "condition", the usual rules of convention no longer apply to her. However, she is still apprehensive about telling her friends that she is in love with two men.
As if their love triangle wasn't complicated enough, Bernadette appears in the snow outside Rafe's home with a dire warning. The silver necklace that Veronica had lost in New Orleans can be turned into a weapon that will kill Slade & Rafe. They know that somehow they must recover the necklace and they plan to go to New Orleans.
However, fate intervenes and what was supposed to be a brief stop at her Bed and Breakfast in Maine becomes much more complicated and even deadly.
New characters are introduced and new creatures are revealed. Friendships are tested, murders are discovered and new powers are introduced.
This is an engrossing and thoroughly entertaining read and readers will be left eagerly anticipating the next book in the series.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. I wish I could read Book 3 today, but I guess I will need to wait.
Received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
I enjoyed book two in this series much more than I did book 1. I thought the length of the book was great for the story with not as many fast paced parts to the story. In book 2 the characters evolve and we learn more about Veronica and her relationship with Slade and Rafe. All of the secondary characters from book 1 make an appearance and I was surprised by some of the turns they took. I thought the role of Bernadette was intriguing although I must admit I was a little confused at times but I think her role in the story will be revealed in book 3. The one thing that threw me was the role of Tasha, and without giving anything away I will say as the novel progressed I got used to it and found myself more intrigued than wondering why is this happening? I thought the action scenes in this novel were full of detail and wonderfully portrayed which kept me wanting to read more. The erotic scenes in this book were just as well done as the first, full of hot, sexy steam - Wells knows how to write erotic while keeping the romance which I think is a wonderful skill to possess. I found this novel to be more captivating than the first, enough to have me wondering what is going to happen in the next.
This book is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than the first. It answers a ton of the questions that I had. I am beginning to love the characters. Slade and Rafe, Oh yeah baby. The plot to this story is really good. A lot happens. Everyone gets involved. Kara needs to sit down and find herself, she is all over the place. Elise needs to relax a little bit. Chantal is a wild card and is full of mischief. I just wish someone would let Bernadette finish what she has to say, Tasha to finish reading and Veronica, Slade and Rafe find out about this prophecy business. I am now waiting on the next book in New Orleans which I just know will be good because this one was better than the first and I believe they will continue to get better and better.
ohhhhhh yeah!!! This book is a lot more than the first. it goes more in to detail and answers some unanswered questions, opens new possibilities and keeps u guessing! I really feel this story line is going to get more and more exciting. I just love the characters - I can see the division starting with the characters and I must say I am a little worried! I am in love with Slade more so than Rafe, he has a darker side which may become apparent and I'm not sure I'm going to like it! bring on book 3 sooooooooo excited :)
