This new author is blowing me away with his storytelling. He rights with such realism of character. There is so much emotion and energy in his books I have extreme difficulty putting them down. But I think what I appreciate the most is the genuine feel of honesty to the books. His thanks and notes section at the conclusion possibly made me happiest about this book. Shawn very honesty and openly told the readers he is taking a break. He wants to make sure that the next story is as rich as the first three and that means taking some time. He wants more for our enjoyment than the collection from our wallet. I LOVE THAT!
We have moved to the next phase in the mystery of who is stalking the North Hills pack. The tensions are building and everything is about to snap. Shawn even manages to have a character have an argument inside his mind that I visualized so vividly. I know we have all felt that brief insanity at times. The realism just continues to amaze me. Can I say enough times that this story is gritty and real and excellent? The mystery isn't too burdensome or meant to throw you off the scent. It is a pace setter for the adrenaline that makes your hackles rise.
Go pick up a copy today. Seriously. At $2.99, you are just kidding yourself with excuses not to buy it. I greatly look forward to the next book. I'm probably even going to go check out this new series he mentioned.

This is my third book of Shawn's I am currently indulged in reading this

The flow is great,such dynamics intertwining from the very first book
#1Silver-White, thru to The Call,and now I am in the middle of the 3rd book

So this story we finally see where the threat is coming from, a lot more history is told and we are seeing the bigger picture. I also feel like the author is setting up Erica and Evie to be the successors of Abel and Joe but I suppose we will see how that unfolds.
This story was told from multiple viewpoints but the only person we really know what they are thinking is Lars, it's like the story is told from first person and third person, it would be nice if the author can pick one POV, it's ok to see the story from multiple characters, I just want to be in one POV.
Some parts of the story can be fluff or not that interesting like the conversations between Lars and the old lady, for the most part there is no reason for them - I can't really see if they will useful in the future, but what are you gonna do? Gotta just roll with it.
The reason for a 4 is because there were grammatical errors, far less than the last 2 books but the mistakes were definitely in bad spots, especially when he used the wrong son's name when they had the meeting at the hotel. I need these editors to be on point!!
Anyways good story and I will be reading the next.

I couldn't put my Kindle down while reading the 3rd book of this wonderful and amazing series and with every ending Ms. Underhill don't leave us with a mayor cliffhanger but enough to make you want more...Even thou I am falling for the wonderful characters of this story specially grand pa, but my favorite is going to be Abel, grand pa brother...I do highly recommend this wonderful series for young one who love to read...So sit and enjoy reading the adventure of Ms. Underhill amazing wolves..

Enjoyed reading these books
I hate books that are a quick read because I get done with them way to soon .this book is wonderful in it's content .I wish it would go on and on but books do have to end so I'll get the last in the series and pase myself slower. thanks for the good read.

Great plot

Loved it
The writing style is just so good the story is great and I can't wait to read another book by Shawn. I have enjoyed many books on kindle and have discovered new authors and I have to say that Shawn is now one of my favorites. Thank you

Interesting
I found yet another good one here in the 3rd! Keeps me reading and can't wait for the 4th! So much detail in this writing and the over view is awesome, you can see threw everyone's yes! Great read love it!!

I think it's a great storyline and easy to follow. It's a clean and easy read for a younger audience. I liked the characters.
