Not so much protecting his sis but more an excuse for Mason & Ava to reignite some passion with Greg & Courtney I think!

Short story with my favorite couple: Mason and Ava. They return to London to help Kerrie, Mason’s sister, who now run the business after Mason takes off to Portugal to live peacefully with Ava and the twins.
We will Ava’s inner bitch while she tortures the wife of a man who will help Mason get what he wants.
In this short visit they have time for another foursome with Greg and Courtney.

If you read the series Room 103 like me, there is a mention of one of the characters, Bulk. ( great series too).

This was a bit of a non-story to me. Was so short that there was no suspense, no who done it, just straight forward sex and violence. After the other books a bit disappointed but maybe novellas aren’t for me.

This Book continues on Ava and Mason’s story. A very Dark story of two people who love each other even though they have been through hell and back. They have been married for 8 years in this book, together for ten. Mason is furious. Someone has attacked his sister Kerrie. At the end of book four, Mason and Ava move to Portugal with the twins so they can leave the life of crime behind. Now Kerrie takes care of Mason’s business instead. When someone threatens her Mason and Ava come back on the scene. They are happier than ever, living life with twins.
Ava has to help Mason, and boy does she ever show how strong a crazy a woman can be.
I thought this was a good way to catch us up on their story. I am glad to see Mason is drug free and finally treating Ava the way she deserves.

More of the dysfunctional duo that is Mason and Ava. They have come back to town because Mason's sister, Kerrie, has run into some trouble. One of my questions from Atonement was about the disposition of Mason's operation. This book answered my question. There's some drama where Mason and Ava's dark side come out. I loved it!
This was short, funny and more hot sex. The scene in the alley...hawt, hawt, hawt!!! The interactions between Mason and Ava were so funny. I laughed throughout the story.
Why Not 5 Stars?

I heart the heck outta Ava and Mason, and this little novella just gave me more to love! They are the perfect fit of sugar and spice and everything not always so nice...hehehe...Mason is such a total alpha male, but loves his family and friends unconditionally...his sister is his everything, and when he fears she's in trouble, he comes a running! We get some sexy goodness, once again, with Greg and Courtney in the mix...I'm a die hard DH Sidebottom fan, and the Heart of Stone series is, by far, my most fave series ever! Awesome sexy goodness! :)

Although this is only a short novella its just enough to give all those Mason lovers...and haters...a small fix of his glorious self. We get to meet the nasty mean side of Ava and I've gotta say it left me wanting more. And Mase...well Mason's Mason you know what you're getting from him. The over protective brother look really suits him and as always it made me fall for him that little bit more. For a novella this has got it all....violence, humour and of course hot, steamy, dirty sex. Yet another job well done Dawn....now you've just got to keep feeding our Mason and Ava addiction :D

A fantastic hard hitting short novella with Mason and Ava doing what they do best. Hard sexy and vengeance violence against those who mess with their family.
Kerrie is in charge in the UK and has been 'hit' whilst trying to keep the family business in track. Mason doesn't take it too well when he finds out and so with Ava's help they go about resolving the issue.
Many old faces return and this has a great ending, it's a great way to revisit old friends and see the couple still have their hot, feisty ways of sorting out problems!!!

We catch up with as on and Ava again in this short novella ,,, this time they are returning due to Masons sister being involved in some trouble that saw her receive a beating ,,,

This book was tough to rate. My rating wasn't for the writing, but for the lack of conflict. I understand what Mason and Ava's goal was and their motivation, but where was the conflict? Even though this was a novellette, there still needs to be some kind of conflict. Mason and Ava just tortured a man and then had hot, off the charts, smoking, somebody find an extinguisher sex, but sex can't drive a book, hence my 2 1/2 stars.

This was a very short but enjoyable read. They come back to help his sister who has taken over the business for Mason.

Talk about trying to break my heart!!!! This Novella has me all over the place AGAIN! Just when my heart settles over these books, DH rips the wound open again! I love her so its okay(Well its not okay, but still...) Still LOVED it!!!

I've loved this novella, it was great to read about Ava and Mason again, Ava is a feisty little madam and Mason loves her for it, it was beautiful at the end too, it really made me laugh..
