This is the doctor to follow if you are fighting diabetes, or have it in your family and want to avoid it. Definitely a MUST HAVE book for that situation.
Straight and to the point. That's the way I like my books. It was a quick read, but answered all of my pertinent questions about being on a Low-Carb diet.
This booklet is a brief overview of how to execute the keto diet eating plan. Very brief and to the point. Will help a beginner get started. Not a scientific explanation of how keto works. It also does not include any recipes but does provide some suggestions for more info.
Read it twice and it was very helpful. Dr. Westman is considered one of the top proponents of ketogenic eating. I am prejuiced. I have lot 75 lbs. since last March.
This is the perfect pocket guide to the Ketogenic Diet. It's basically a what to do and what not to do without a lot of in depth information that can be found elsewhere. I recommend it for someone who has already decided to commit to the diet, not necessarily someone new to learning about the diet.
