Tally Haslam has too much to deal with. A herbalist and aromatherapist, her latest creation - an aphrodisiac potion - remains in unsaleable condition as she has nobody to test it with. And, much to her annoyance, she sleepwalks.
Hoping to get away from it all for a weekend, Tally travels to nearby Madigan Hall for their yearly Paranormal Evening—but on the first night she wakes up outside the bedroom of another Kyle Hunter, who has chosen to pleasure himself with the door open. Tally escapes without being seen, but is unable to get Kyle out of her head—especially when she finds herself at the same table at him the following evening.
However, Tally's world is turned upside down when, at the paranormal dinner, she encounters the ghost of the Blue Lady, who seems determined not to leave her alone—and shows a disturbing penchant, when Tally sleepwalks again, for leading her astray…

I have been writing for ten years and first got into erotic romance through the Romantic Novelists' Association New Writer's Scheme; they critiqued my debut novel "The Hand He Dealt", which was published in June 2011 and was nominated for the Joan Hessayon Award.
I first started writing seriously when my tutor on a creative writing course pointed me towards the Romantic Novelists' Association and their New Writers' Scheme. Thanks to them, my debut novel "The Hand He Dealt" was accepted by Total-e-Bound in 2011 and was nominated for the Joan Hessayon Award for 2012. I haven't stopped writing since.
This year I'm working on my new series “Rock My World” plus the upcoming release of my back collection as audiobooks. My novella “The Start of Something” came out on 27th December 2022 and “I’m With The Band” will be out in May 2023.
When I'm not writing, I love to read historical fiction and non-fiction as well as anything paranormal. I love to sing, watch horror movies and go to rock concerts. I also have two cats who like to hide all day and then destroy the house at night.
I’ve read and enjoyed Tanith Davenport’s work in the past, so I looked forward to checking out Sleepwalker, a paranormal erotic romance short story. It tells the tale of Tally Haslam, a woman who is a herbalist and aromatherapist, who hasn’t been in a relationship for a while. One night stands are all well and good, but anything more seems impossible as men get the wrong idea about her because of her choice of profession.
Her customers also ask her to make an aphrodisiac, a task she’s happy to take on, but it’s difficult, given she has no one to test her creations on. Just to add insult to injury, she sleepwalks, too.
In an attempt to get away from it all, Tally goes to nearby Madigan Hall for their annual Paranormal Evening. On the first night, much to her dismay, she sleepwalks. But what makes it even more disturbing is the fact that when she wakes up, she’s outside the room of another guest, one who she catches in the act of pleasuring himself. She manages to get away without him seeing her, but her awkwardness is not easy to ignore when she finds herself at the same table as him the following evening. There’s clearly an attraction there, but when the paranormal evening starts properly, Tally ends up seeing the ghost of the Blue Lady, who seems attached to her, somehow.
When Tally wakes up outside Kyle’s room again, she’s floored, especially when it becomes apparent that the Blue Lady has led her to him deliberately. She has no idea what the hell is going on, but doesn’t have time to find out, as Kyle discovers her outside his room…
This was a really fun story, with Tanith’s usual great writing style and hot sex. The storyline was intriguing, particularly as different threads got woven in. The only downside to Sleepwalker is that it was too short – I wanted more, much more of this tale. But, nevertheless, I’d recommend this to fans of paranormal erotic romance.
