On Amber's best friend Heather's 18th birthday she and Elijah( Heather's brother) had sex and Amber gave Elijah her virginity they both always liked the other but Amber was young and Heather didn't get along with her brother so nothing ever happened. Now seven years have gone by and Amber has decided that she needs to end their secret affair once and for all. No one knows that they have been together and though they have both been faithful to the other beliefs that the other didn't want more kept them from a real relationship. Elijah knows he never wants to give up Amber so he sets about keeping her.
But Amber decides that she wants to finally experience the things she lost out on by have a secrets relationship with Elijah. When Elijah see's Amber out on a date Elijah sets out to show Amber that he loves her, that he always has, and that it is past time to have a real relationship. Unfortunately it won't be easy with past hurts and incorrect beliefs Elijah will have to pull out all the stops and Amber will have to be willing to trust her heart with the one person who could break it.
I really enjoyed this story, this is another great book in a long list of great books by Sam Crescent. I loved Elijah he was your typical Mrs. Crescent hero: possessive, domineering, strong and opinionated. Amber was a great heroine and the side characters were just a great. We are giving nice follow up to Heather and Julian relationship, from Sleeping with the Boss book 1 in this series and we get a great set up to the two books in the series to come. Overall this was a great fast read that was exactly what I was looking for.

Amber has had a past with her best friends brother Elijah he was her first and they had a sorta relationship filled with dom/sub stuff at a club, but Elijah made a mistake and thought flirting with a girl (not shown) would make Amber finally want to move forward in the relationship but it backfired and she left.
We seen some hints of their story in book one now Elijah is fighting to keep his woman and Amber is trying not to give in knowing he can break her heart again. The push and pull between the two is real plus that isn't the only secret they haven't told any of Amber's friends about what's going on with them.
Amber gets asked out on a date by her boss and she says yes, the date is okay but their is no romance between the two. Elijah pulls out all the stops he is going to get his girl and he won't stop. The question is with so much push and pull can they stop running from each other??
We also get a hint of Ashley and Connie's relationship drama.. Ashley and her ex that broke her heart and The love trang between Dale/Connie/Wade

mehhh…..I think my dominate feeling after finishing this book is confusion. They kept their 'relationship' (or non relationship whatever it was) a secret for 7 years. What was the reason again? and why now are you just realizing you've wasted so many years?
Might have to come back to this one again in the future to see if anything is a little clearer for me.

It was an okay read in the epilogue she also having twins so it makes me wonder are they ll having twins? If so that's weird. As for Connie I wish she would choose already between Wade or Dale.

Therefore, Amber and Elijah have hidden their relationship. What I found most puzzling is Amber and Heather are best friends but each hide things from the other.
Elijah is a hot and sexy man. He is also a Dom. He is a strong and opinionated man. When Elijah sees Amber out on a date it changes everything for him. He realizes how close he is to losing her and tries his best to face having a real and open relationship with Amber. He does not want to hide her anymore.
The chemistry between Amber and Elijah is blistering hot. The sex scenes were hot and steamy. I am amazed it took Amber seven years before voicing her upset over the situation. If she told Elijah what she wanted they might have become a couple much sooner.
Owned By Him is the second book in Friends, Men and Secrets series by Sam Crescent. While this book is part of a series, it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.
I found this book to be well written. The main and secondary characters were interesting and realistic. I loved this book. Overall, this was a great and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

This is my second read of Sam crescent book it's a good and easy read my brain don't bleed much I'm glad of it. What's good of this book is there friendship they stick together here bond became stronger more and more and no matter what happens they tried to fix the wrong to be right I think that's what I like of this series I'm looking forward of the other books but I'll skip the other series the plot is common and I find it repetitive but I'm pretty sure I'll read the love triangle one.

I loved reading the struggle that Elijah has with himself in regards to Amber ! He wants her but yet struggles because she is friends with his sister! To picture him squirm while she is on a date with another was great I am so glad that Amber took charge and made him realize what he was missing out on! Such a great read!

Even in Sleeping With The Boss.... THIS relationship called out to me....so much chemistry....so much love....oh! This book deserves so much credit in my book but since we're only limited to 5 stars then a whooping five stars it is....GOOOD WOOORK...I'm now officially a fan.

This was a good book about Elijah and Amber finally getting together. I liked hearing about Amber's friends and how the girls all stick up for each other even though they keep secrets from each other.

This book serves us quite a story of tug-of-war between the H and h. You may say it's a bit mix of booty call turned steady, light BDSM (in this case plenty of spanking. I noticed the author were fond of spanking. She never failed to insert that in some of her novels), a hot-rough-lustful smutty scene, and a teeny-tiny angst.
Though I personally think the story could be cut short, the book decided to go a bit roundabout for the h to get her HEA. The story itself feels real, and close to home,
