A book that is of immence heartache, depicting the Palestinian communities in Beirut and what they had to live under in the early 1980s with extensive ground research by way of camp visits made by the author personally and in talking to the inhabitants of the camps. Should be read by anyone interested in the Palestinian issue, Lebanese and Arab politics, the Israeli role and those that want original research, survey, interviews and as well as scholarship
